Jim the Manbear
Jim had been playing with his new best friend. They were playing Knights, and it sure was fun. His friend wasn't very good, and had fallen asleep, so Jim was letting him catch his breath.
Oh, what good times they'd have together. Oh, what splend-OW. Something very hard had just hit him in the face. In fact, it hit the formidable manbear so hard that it sent him rolling. He returned to his four-legged stance after three rolls, looking about for what exactly it was that had hit him.
Well, there was his friend, still asleep. There was some grass; well, actually, there was quite a bit of grass. And...oh! There was a girl standing in front of him. She looked slightly worried and very angry. Jim decided the best thing to do would be to kindly welcome her.
"HELLO, GIRL," called the manbear.
Unbeknownst to Jim, however, all the girl heard was a very intimidating growl. Thus, it was much to his surprise when she shouted at him angrily. Sensing that this wasn't play any longer, Jim suddenly remembered that his dad would be really mad if he didn't get back in time. He turned tail and ran into the woods, glad to leave behind whatever was about to happen there.
His only regret was not being able to finish playing with his friend.
