We were all thinking that, I'll bet...

However Doc, please note that those arrows I fired were magic energy arrows, not mere physical ones. Would you be able to block them as easily? Especially with only one wing, which I'm not sure if it is in position to block it or not?
Cruallassar hits the ground rolling from his previous high-flying shot, coming up in an instant to view the adventurer's plight. A shadow sinkhole under him, a massive tail around his arm...lovely. In the blink of an eye, three more energy arrows are let fly...one at the monster's tail, likely immobilized for the time being with grabbing the kid's arm, and one each above and below in case he dodges the center one. In another instant, three more are let loose, this time at it's center of mass and head. And finally, another shot is sent at the shadowy pool on the ground, so that it would miss the kid, but hopefully hit anything lurking down there. Though the chances of that are slim.
Yeah, I tagged/quoted the wrong person, I meant Yami when I asked about the post.

But yeah...what do I think happened? I had no idea. It could have been a portal to the shadow realm, it could have been a sinkhole to the dark depths of an abyss the denizens of which are so horrible none can fathom...you get the idea. Now I know it is basically just a shadowhole. Which...kinda has me confuzzeled as to how to deal with it.

And what Doc says is right. A hot object among hot objects will still be visible as another hot object. You would have to be right up against a hot object...and at the SAME ambient temperature...in order to fool your average heat-seeking monster. So, if you set yourself on fire and hid inside another fire, that might work...not to mention, there is the pattern of a person, like how if you see a white piece of paper with a lot of black lines all over it, but also the black line silhouette of a person in it, you can still tell that the person lines are there, and what they are, despite a number of distraction lines.
@Cruallassar
And I didnt see anything about being able to teleport in your character sheet.

"is very skilled in the art of Shadowmelding, teleporting or traveling from place to place through ethereal shadows. He often looks like a shadowy wraith himself when in combat, shadowmelding from place to place, attacking, then disappearing in a stream of dark magic before anyone can attack him in return."

@Cruallassar
Yami is hiding from your attacks because they'll oneshot her -_-

A fair point. Though I am wondering why you ignored my post about showering all your little shadows with arrows...I'm kinda wondering what effect that had.

And I'm also wondering what the heck just happened with that being dragged down into a shadowy pool bit...
@Lunarlors34
Hey, I reduced my power level to Tier 1...but really, I suspect it is simply a matter of some characters are better vs others. Yours...well, I can't really say much for a teenager with a cheap runeblade, however that Primal Vampire would probably go down pretty easily vs a good mage, (as would I, depending on the mage and the abilities), and little miss shadow-wielder...well, I'm not sure what to think about her, I didn't see anything about becoming a little pool of shadows in her character sheet, and I thought she had to activate insanity mode to use them at all, but she could also probably handle Shashous pretty easily. I mean...I seem to be the only one of us who can attack her at all.

Which brings up the question...what the heck just happened with those shadows there?
Bloody hell...this really is going to turn into a me vs two vampires battle, isn't it?

Requirement: Pretty much anyone from the Arena you can trust to be impartial and not disappear before giving you a ruling if needed.

And sorry, Season's over, no more ranked match started until a new Season begun.

...ok, when does the new season begin?
@Lunarlors34
Yeah, I'm still not particularly used to having to mention people to make sure they see the message, I prefer where people get notifications every time someone posts in a thread they posted in.
@Cruallassar
And how would I know that? You could've warned me before hand not to post

Um...I did and you didn't and I did and everything worked according to plan...
So, as I understand it, ranked tournaments require someone to observe, GM, and otherwise act as conflict resolution, right? And if so, what are the requirements for this person, and would a person that meets them feel like doing this in a ranked match I'm setting up right now?
