Bio

I'm mostly an OC RP-er. I have a bunch of OCs that are pre-established but am always open to creating new characters within new stories. I prefer PMs for 1x1 RPs just because they are easier to keep on top of in my opinion.

I enjoy coming up with plots and I do like gritty stuff, I am also a huuge fan of fantasy, so if plots are left to me, that is generally the direction that they will go in!

I can RP one-liners or casually; 2-3 paragraphs is my limit for speedy replying because i’ve got a busy job and can’t sustain massive posts every time DX but I will do my best to match what you give me :) I'm wary of RPing smut, but I don’t mind a bit of romance and smush. I tend to say kiss touch and play, anything more fades to black :D

I can't say how quick I can be to reply, I work uncertain hours - apologies in advance!

Tori rolled his eyes and readjusted his position. Nobody liked gym and that was a fact, he'd been in high school and hated gym himself. He wasn't some high-school gym teacher trying to get by on making the kids run laps until they passed out. He raised an eyebrow at her and regarded her with the slow beginnings of irritation. Something about the way she was speaking to him told him that she was one to watch with these kids.

"The thing is," he began, "people don't understand the idea of grit, discipline and respect. Kids like these got here on cheap thrills, fast and quick easy money or easy highs and they fall into it because they don't have any determination or long term goals, because 9 times out of 10 they fail to reach them or they just give up on them because they're too far away. Making them run until they cry sucks, but they get to the end. They reach a goal and they do it through perseverance. They learn to respect themselves. It's damn hard and it feels like I'm just trying to run them down lower than they already are but that's because they give up and all their previous gym teachers gave up on them and make them feel sh*t about it. I want to motivate them to start reaching goals, stop skipping class because it's hard and show them that they actually can achieve something. Maybe then they'll start thinking about changing their lives for the better. Sure some people can't be saved, some people flat out won't be saved and some people will fall back, but if I can help just one person start believing in themselves for the better, then I consider what I do a triumph." He looked down and frowned. He hadn't meant to ramble and rant but it was true and he believed in it. Grit was hard to come by and he wanted to at least try to teach it to these kids.
The noise in the town was getting warmer and gradually more cheery as the light began to fade and Ratte found herself smirking softly as she made her way to Annie's tavern. Night was her favourite time of day, she liked to think that she thrived in the nighttime, as her namesake did. Something about the call of darkness when dusk set in sent a shiver through her and a thrill rushed through her veins. Normally she would revel in the feeling and find someone to share a bed with, but something told her she could find more to celebrate if she attended this meeting.

She pushed open the tavern door and carefully removed her hood. She pushed her fingers through her hair and mussed it slowly at the back, her dark eyes taking in the patrons and the layout of the little tavern. It was warm and friendly and everyone seemed occupied in chatter or drink. She made her way slowly to the back of the bar and, checking over her shoulder out of habit, decended down the steps into the basement. The haze of chatter didn't end, in fact it seemed to increase as she got down into the room. Most were there already.

She eyed the mix of characters and faces around the room and stared a little too long at the chest of the black haired woman standing in the centre that she assumed was 'Black Widow', then again at the other women throughout the room. She bit her lip and shook her head, "Damn..." she muttered, stepping down from the final step.

"So what did I miss?" she asked to the room in general.
Hey! I'll be able to post tomorrow, sorry to be so slow I've been so busy recently! I'll get Ratte in there very soon - she'll just be late :S

With the flicking of her hair and the smile Roxy was flashing at him, Tori felt his neck getting warmer. Was she flirting with him? He quickly dismissed the thought - she was most definitely attractive, albeit slightly unusual, but he wasn't interested in entertaining the thought. He was almost certain that he was one of the only teachers in the school that hadn't been enrolled in the school before getting the job and he had no intention of getting involved with someone who had committed a felony.
"What exactly does putting them through their paces involve?" she asked him and he let himself smirk. He folded his arms across his broad chest and looked at her.

"Exactly what they don't want. Intense training, making them work hard and damn right I'll make them hate me. They've got to learn something here and it's going to be resilience and respect. They won't stop running until their feet are bleeding and then they can run on their knees. They'll work hard and it'll be intense, it'll be like a military boot camp. I don't like slackers and they sure as hell won't slack in my classes."
I think B will be good to get some dialogue running and get into characters, kinda like suiting up before a battle :D So B
Ratte would be more interested in the jewels or metals but it'd be more likely that the cargo would be spices/silks

Hearing her footsteps approach, Tori turned to Roxy before she spoke. He was a little surprised that she did in fact speak to him and he folded his arms, regarding her. For a reform academy teacher, she looked more like one of the students. The blue side-shaven haircut wasn't doing her any favours. He had no doubt that the students would attempt to take advantage of her youthful take on teacher attire and wondered how long she had been here to still be making these style choices. He caught his train of thought and inwardly frowned, 'Christ, you sound like an old man' he told himself, before answering Roxy's question.
"Gym. Though none of this easy shit, like running around a track. I put them through their paces, they move their asses or they eat dirt."
I'm not active online for long enough to be a leader, hopefully I'll be able to work hard to stay active in the RP! I'm happy for the leader to be chosen amongst you or that could be next order of business for the RP I guess? Old leader recently left/died/vanished and they're all thinking about the new leadership role..?
But yeah, happy for someone else to take control :D
Ratte

Appearance: 5'0, dark hair that is cut unevenly around her ears and has longer layers on top that stick out. Deep brown eyes and a pale complexion, with a small almost pointed nose. Skinny but has tight little muscles on her legs and arms. Sometimes wears charcoal around her eyes to look menacing. Normally wears dark clothes and a thin black cloak.
Age:24
Name: Krista Mueller
Nickname/Alias: Ratte
Gender: Female

Personality: Ratte is carefree in the deadly sense. She holds her true feelings back well behind a mask of sarcasm, flirting and general boisterous and rowdy behaviour. She is a pessimist, but can be very caring on the inside and looks after those she considers worthy of her care with a fierce loyalty, though those people are few and far between. She is determined and stubborn - if she wants something, she's going to try to get it, even if that means betraying someone.
Biography: Ratte grew up with her sister in a quiet little family that couldn't afford much. Ratte was never the favourite child - she was brutish and stubborn and often came home with bruises or something stolen, often egged on by her sister though nobody ever saw that part. Her parents were at the end of their patience with her, when her little sister became sick. Ratte took on the role of providing the medicine for her under the guise of having found a job. In reality, she was stealing and when her parents and sister found out, they banned her from the house. Ratte lived on the streets for a long time after that, still sneaking medicine into the house when she could, but learning skills to live on her own and survive in this bitter world of ungrateful beings. She eventually hitched a ride out of town to escape from a group that she had pissed off with her nature and stealing from them and never came back. She was never able to settle, moving from town to town, eventually landing in Luthias - somewhere she was hoping to make a name for herself before she moved on. A name everyone either hates or fears, of course.

Skills: Pick-pocketing, lying, lock-picking, knife-throwing, drinking shots.
Equipment: A knife on her belt, a lock-picking set in a small bag on her shoulder, deck of cards.
