Karina Prescott sat with her arms folded against the desk and her leg crossed over the other. She was here like all the other students chosen for Project K. Her eyes scanned the classroom, and out of the ten students she could see a few faces that she recognized. Once the teacher at the front of the classroom cleared her throat to speak, Karina averted her attention back to her. She was sort of eager to know what Project K was all about.
"Good morning students..." The teacher spoke clearly. "As you are well aware, those of you sitting in the classroom have been selected to participate in the project for extra credit."
Outside of the classroom, unaware to the students, were the children who were participating in the project with the kindergarten teacher watching over them. They were told to wait outside the classroom while the teacher explained the project to the other students.
