What the cities currently look like:


A few years back, there were a group of scientists that created test subjects in a lab. These test subjects looked like normal humans except for the fact that they had supernatural powers. A few years ago something went wrong, and some of the more dangerous mutants got angry and fed up with the scientists, so they killed them all and destroyed the lab. After that they began destroying cities. That's when everything started to go bad. Eventually the government surrendered and made a deal with those mutants. They formed an organization who is now in control of everything. The other mutants who were not part of the organization were left to fend for themselves, and be hated and feared by the humans. However, they managed to form some type of bond with a regular human and become their guardian. Once this bond is formed, they will be able to hear each others thoughts and feelings. This bonding process is otherwise known as “soul binding”.

The Organization found out about the soul binding and saw it as a threat, since with soul binding a mutant’s powers can increase. Now the Organization wants them all dead. They refer to them as “The Guardian Alliance”.

Lydia is very shy and kind though she is so shy to the point where she can't really talk in front of other people. Having not socialized with anyone Lydia with no knowledge on how to relate to others and so she hardly ever knows what to say or how to act. She tends to blurt a lot of things out without realizing it or thinking about her words. She also gets embarrassed and flustered way too easily; often blushing and hiding her face. Being as innocent as she is to the world, she trusts way too easily and is oblivious about a lot of stuff, especially when it comes to flirting/love or basically any interest thrown her way. She can be very insecure about herself and her body and she tends to second-guess herself a lot. Lydia can become upset very easily and is very sensitive; also being very clumsy and tends to trip over her own feet a lot. Despite all of this however. Lydia also puts others needs before her own and in most cases she reacts without thinking of her own well-being: if someone is being hurt, Lydia will immediately try and protect them with any means possible without even considering herself. She is very, very selfless. Lydia can be very curious and is very easily captivated and awed by even the simplest of objects and things. She is very much like a child in a way.
Her family was killed when the mutants began destroying all the cities. Their house had been set on fire and her parents never made it out. The experience has left her scared of all mutants.

Name: Dolten Alenbeg "Venator"
Age: 48
Gender: Male
Personality: Cold, calculating and with a thirst for blood, Dolten is a true villain. He once had a dream of becoming the strongest by beating and killing every man who thought they were stronger than him. Since then, he's accomplished that, and now views himself as the strongest. This fits into his belief that only the strong survive, and that the weak should follow or be destroyed.
Power: Extreme strength and the ability to hover in the air. He also can channel his strength into his gun and fire it as a beam of pure energy, making it virtually unstoppable.
History: Once a ruthless gladiator in an underground arena, Dolten's ideals and views were hatched here. He was slowly becoming the strongest and oldest gladiator when he was experimented upon. Given new strength, he was among the first to kill the scientists. He was also probably responsible for a majority of the damaged cities, firmly believing in oppressing the weaker humans. Although he still works with the organization, he takes no commands, only assisting when fighting is required. He has a strict policy of "Point where you want the destruction to occur and stay out of my way".

Name: Luke Valentine
Appearance: Luke is the picture of grace and elegance. Everything he wears is top of the line and expensive, especially compared to most human's clothes. He has long ebony black hair that he keeps neatly tied back at all times. His skin is light white and void of any blemish. His eyes are a very light red. He keeps a silver pocket watch on a chain tucked away in his vest. He also wears a pair of round rim spectacles.

Personality: Much like his appearance Luke is a very refined person and makes no effort to hide it. He was brought up to appreciate the classical things in the world that's exactly what he does, he has a deep love for poetry, art, and music. He is on the surface a charismatic gentleman, being able to hold people's attention and good graces with ease. But underneath lies a man with a narcissistic and near sociopathic out look on life. He believes humans are the stepping stones to the greatness of the mutants and that any mutant that sympathizes with humans are just another insect to be crushed.
Power: Luke's mutation was a elaborate and dangerous process that involved having graviton particles infused into his own molecules.
Gravikinesis: Luke's mutation gave him the ability to control one of the four fundamental elements of the universe, gravity. By controlling gravitons and anti-gravitons he can surround objects or people and increase or decrease the pull of gravity. To maintain the gravity of the object or person he needs to concentrate on it
Flight: By decreasing the pull of gravity beneath his feet to be able to fly.
Movement Impairment By increasing the pull of gravity beneath people or objects, he can pin them on the ground unable to move for being too heavy.
Graviton Attraction: By decreasing the pull of gravity underneath people or objects he can pull them anywhere he wants under his control. He can crush people's bones by attracting the bones inside to each other and crushing them.
Force Field Generation: By gathering gravitons around himself he can create a force field that can deflect attacks.
History: Even before joining the Organization Luke's life was that of ease and luxury. His father was a world renown surgeon and his mother a concert pianist. He was the middle child of seven other heirs to his family's massive name sake. Growing up he was pampered and given the best of anything money could buy, from cars to education. His life would of continued this path if he had not learned of a project to make a line of meta-humans. He joined the experiments in the hopes of satisfying his need to become more powerful than those around him. But eventually, after receiving his mutations, he was one of the mutants to plan the escape and massive destruction so they could take control. Now he is one of the most respected members of the Organization and he is helping stomp out this whole "soul bonding" trend.
Other: Luke has a strong love for musicians, save if they make the mistake of miss playing a tune he likes if that happens the poor soul is most likely doomed.

John

Name: John Lockhart
Appearance:
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Personality: John tends to be a pretty reserved, albeit somewhat apathetic, kind of guy who's often reluctant to get violent unless he can't avoid it. He can be sarcastic, brutally blunt, and pessimistic to a sometimes aggravating degree.
Power: Hybrid physiology - John shares many attributes with that of a Gila Monster, to include increased strength, a heightened sense of smell, and an extremely toxic bite (His venom is a neurotoxin and a bite to a human from him is the equivalent of a Gila's to another animal of equal or lesser size.), he also has an unusually high pain tolerance, likely brought on by constant experimentation.
History: John can't exactly say what his life was like before becoming a mutant. Then again it would be hard for anyone to recall such a thing if they were abducted at the tender age of three. A good deal of John's life was spent in the laboratory, his days were filled with all manner of injections, sample extractions and various endurance tests. When the mutant uprising happened John found himself in a precarious situation; either join the Organization and hunt down his kind, or life on the streets like an urchin and have to constantly look over his shoulder. The choice was fairly simple to say the least. He's been with the Organization ever since, serving as a mutant hunter for his tracking ability.
Other: John generally prefers to offer mutants a chance to join the Organization rather than die, though this does not mean he won't kill if forced into it. He also enjoys pickled eggs.

Bryce

Name: Bryce Beckett
Appearance: Bryce has very pale white skin that is racked with countless cuts, burn marks and bullet wounds, the most noticeable ones being on his arms. He has pitch black hair, that he keeps parted to the right, and a neatly trimmed beard. There is a deep cut in the center of his right ear, a piece of it missing. His right eye is a very pale blue while his left eye is a deep crimson red. When he needs to blend in among humans he wears a hooded black duster and a eye patch.
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Personality: Bryce is the very definition of "I don't care". He could watch the whole world go to hell... again... and he wouldn't bat an eye. He doesn't see the point of making a fuss or getting upset about anything, even if it is the world at stack. Do to his powers he is a major risk taker and believes he can beat anything that is thrown at him. Though under his cocky and with drawn exterior Bryce has a soft spot for the under dog.
Power: Extensive cellular reconstruction: Bryce's cellular structure is similar to a human in everyway except when it comes to repairing itself. His cells reproduce and replicate at a rate that is nearly imposable to count. This allows Bryce to not only survive fatal wounds but also heal in almost instants. He is able to regrow his limbs, even his whole body if need be, if any should be cut off, though it does take time, or he could simply attach the one he lost. He has survived bullets through the brain, being throw out of twenty story windows, set on fire, electrified and having his head cut off. A side product of his cellular structure is that his blood, being black instead of red, is an amazing healing agent when applied to other's wounds, though too much of it is known to cause hallucinations and addiction.
Dead eye: Bryce's left eye has been removed and replaced by a genetically modified eye that allows him to see perfectly in the dark and the heat signatures of others.
Dancing Blade: Less of a power and more of a skill, Bryce is a master when it comes to blades, be they knife, dagger, or sword. Though he prefers his throwing knives he keeps on him at all times. He is also a master in acrobatics, being able to weave in and out of combat with ease. He puts these two skills together to become a deadly threat, practically dancing around his enemies as he deals with them.
History: Bryce's life before the experiments was nothing to be proud of. He was a low life pick pocket, his mother being a drug addict and his father a alcoholic who liked to beat his kids. The kid really never had a shot in his world and he might of ended up dead if he wasn't brought into the program. He doesn't like to talk about the things they did to him to get the powers he had to work, and he hates even more when people ask the types of tests they did to prove they worked. Like before he had no real sight into the future until some of the other mutants planed and went through with a break out, it is rumored he helped in the escape. He may have went with the others but he saw how they treated the humans, like sheep to be slaughtered, and he couldn't take it. So he opted out to become a wander in this ruined world, drifting to where ever he feels like.

Other: Do to his over flow of throwing knives, when Bryce is in battle he keeps a few stuck into his arms for easy access.
