Shoshanna, visibly shocked by how forward the new doctor had been with the man beside her, watched as he then proceeded to distance himself from the doctor. While she could tell that this new doctor might cause some havoc, she was comforted to hear his accent. She had been worried that no one would be able to understand her, but now it seemed there was another German in the midst of the group.
Doing the best to try to cover her accent, she spoke for the first time, "When will this scavenge start? Where will we be going?"
"Jesus," Jim muttered softly under his breath. He couldn't believe this was real. He looked to the woman who had given him the information and sighed heavily. "I gotta get to California....in 3 days. I dont have time to waste." He didn't know why he was telling her this. Why would she care? "Thanks for the information."
Jim glanced around at all the people that appeared to be gathering at the coffe shop. Was there some sort of official meeting he wasn't aware of? It didn't matter. All Jim cared about was getting out of Chester Mills and getting to California. Anxiously, he tapped a woman who was glaring up at the tv on the shoulder. "Excuse me, miss? Do you have any idea what's going on?"
Ah well that's ok. I actually think Red Dead is only available for systems like play station and x box anyway. I don't think they make it for PC. But thanks for making the effort to read about it before hand :)
Interested. Reminds me a lot of Red Dawn. I would really like to join (when it gets started) but I fear I may not be able to keep up, as this seems like it would be an advanced roleplay. I will try to understand though, alternative history really interests me.

Hey SyrianHamster, is Abraham Ryes a rebel leader or someting? I'm asking because Mike is gonna meet the rebels in my next post.

Abraham Reyes is one of the major characters in Red Dead Redemption. When you go to Mexico he is the leader of the revolution that is taking Mexico by storm. You do many missions for him, which eventually leads to him taking Escellara. Just thought I'd clear that up lol. Have you not played Red Dead? It's ok if you haven't :P
Jim Halsey pressed his foot down on the gas pedal, ready to get the hell out of Chester's Mill. He had only stayed the night, to rest, before his long drive to California. He pushed the thought of his lonely brother and drunken father out of his mind. This was the first day of the rest of his life. As he neared the edge of the city, the blissful music flowing from the car radio suddenly cut out and an alarming message replaced it. It told of the seemingly invisible dome that had spontaneously covered the city and was a huge danger to anyone who even dared to go through. "Just great," Jim growled, slamming his hands down on the steering wheel and pulling his car over to the side of the road. This was insane. It had to be a joke. To inquire about what was really going, Jim reluctantly started up his car again and headed towards the nearest public place - a coffee shop. Angrily, he parked his car out in front and paced into the coffee shop and glanced around for anyone who might know anything.
"No offense taken," Joseph found himself chuckling. He had never truly looked his age at any point in his life, it was no surprise to him. Pulling off the scarf from around his neck, he placed it over his eyes to block out the light, and quickly fell into slumber despite the uncomfortableness of the tree branch.

Joseph awoke to the sound of Buck's voice, offering him breakfast. He felt a brief pang of guilt - this man had been so welcoming and generous to him and he had given him nothing. Remembering that he had brought some food with him from his ranch, he pulled out two apples and handed one of them to Buck. "Thank you for your kindness," he said. "I was so afraid I would be alone...that I wouldn't find another person who wasnt an undead. I'm just very glad we crossed paths."
After the members of the Ryder Gang began to awake, George made his way back down to the dusty ground and entered their building at Twin Rocks.

"Alright, men! I want everyone ready at their horses in ten! No bullshit," George hollered to his gang, who looked like they could use a good morning call. Today, top performance was crucial - today was the day they planned to rob the bank in Armadillo and they were prepared to kill anyone who stood in their way. Returning to his room briefly, to wrap his bandana around his face, George looked at himself in the mirror. It was not often he gave a care to his appearance. What good would it do? He was certain there was no woman that would ever love him or show him affection if he didnt have to pay them afterwords.

Once all the members of the Ryder Gang were mounted and ready to ride, George took the lead as he spurred his horse and willed it to gallop upon the dusty trails of New Austin. They had planned for the robbery to take place at seven but he was hoping they would arrive a little early to allow him to take a quick detour through Armadillo and pick up some supplies. It was not often that he visited the town - for if a lawman or bounty hunter were to spot him, there would surely be a confrontation. Not that he couldn't handle it, but he just didn't want the hassle of having to kill a few men just to visit town. As the gang approached Armadillo, George already had his first destination in mind; the General Store.
Also, if you guys look at the characters, you'll see one named Maurice Sullivan, who is my second character. I was thinking that I would bring him in later when things get more intense. What do you think?
