[b*]Character Name: Thomas "Tito" Lopez

[b*]Character Age: 57

[b*]Character Gender: male

[b*]Character Augmentations: Due to an accident early in his engineering career involving an auto-manufactor and the buckles on his gloves, both of Tito's arms are robotic. They're not civilian models either, they're industrial grade prosthetics designed to best assist someone with tasks related to engineering. They're heat-resistant, shock-proof, and provide some degree of augmented strength, although this strength boost isn't all that substantial. He can lift items that weigh around 200 pounds with some effort.

[b*]Character Appearance/personality:
Tito Gervais is a rather simple looking man. His facial features are set plainly on his face, almost mirroring the practical nature of his profession. His icy blue eyes accentuate his short, well-kept white beard and short hair. His build is lean, yet relatively fit. His skin is a bit pinker than the average human (since his body produces the same amount of blood, but there's two less limbs for it to go to), and he stands at about 5'10.

His personality is complex, to say the least. Life on a space station has him used to extremely rigid engineering schedules, and most of the time one talks to him, he's irritable and foul-tempered. He's rigid by practice, and is prone to taking the most practical solution to any situation. He wants to be more friendly, but stress usually drives him to less friendly responses. He's also notorious around the station for his smoking habits, and can almost always be found with a cigar in his mouth, or a cigarette when he's out of those.

[b*]Character Employment Role: Chief Engineer

[b*]Character's Brief History: Thomas was born to two poor parents, in the slums of New Madrid. No one ever really expected to amount to much, but at around the age of eight, he started displaying a unique curiosity towards his father's car. His father, a lower-ranked police officer, indulged the young Thomas, and allowed him to look under the car's hood and get familiar with all the nuances. By the time Thomas was 14, he knew the engine of his father's patrol car like the back of his hand. In school, he showed an aptitude to technical pursuits, and his parents planned to send him to a prestigious engineering college, when the worst happened.

At the age of 19, just after graduating from high school, Thomas' father was killed in an armed altercation at a clinic, and most of the money that was saved for Thomas' college instead went to the funeral. Thomas was quick to move on to pursue his career, and instead enrolled in a general college to major in engineering. After that, he floated between jobs, from fixing cars to working on assembly lines, until he finally saved enough money to enter the college his family originally planned to send him.

At the age of 30, he was one of the older members, and after another ten years of education, he finally came out with the degree he wanted. He later found a job in the Outertech Corporation, and eventually worked his way up to his current assignment, as Chief Engineer of the station on Miasma.
I too am interested! I'll be making a CS shortly.

(also, am I the only one getting mad Space Station 13 vibes from this RP?)
(Bit of a short post just to pad out the end of Frontliner's post. If you don't want this, just lemme know.)
(SHORT POST WARNING)

For the most part, FourSev ignored Felix altogether, keeping a hand near his blaster as he usually did around bounty hunters. A few bad experiences have taught him the only loyalty these scum have is to credits, and even then some of them are sick enough to forsake credits for the sake of their own psychotic desires.

When they arrived at the room Loretta was waiting in, he did stand at the doorway, saluting to her before crossing his hands behind his back and standing at ease. The droids mirrored his movements exactly, and he took a bit of joy in the synchronized sounds of their boots on the floor. "Madame Captain, your visitor's arrived." He announced, keeping his eyes forward but his sensors on Felix.

Heart rate irregular, perspiration on the forehead. The poor sod was probably nervous out of his wits.
(Posting to advance Felix's bit)

"Immediately, Captain." Came FourSev's curt reply, raising a hand to his head to salute her, and his four new squad mates did the same. The idea that he was assigned as a bodyguard and plaything for some apparently deranged scientist was worthy of concern to FourSev, but again, he had no choice. It didn't help that she had implanted a chip into his head, and referred to him as one of her subjects. If he wasn't so jaded, the thought would have brought a shudder to his body (or whatever was left of it). This assignment was going to be a long one, he could just tell.

Suddenly, he was approached by a stormtrooper, and the mere turning of his head to regard the trooper obviously unnerved the poor man. That was a good sign. When your own men are afraid of a weapon that they know will always serve them loyally, then you can guarantee that it strikes fear into your enemies. "Sir, a bounty hunter's arrived outside, with a hostage. There's a bit of a conflict, how do you advise?"

Immediately, FourSev patched into the helmets of the two lift guards, hearing the entire conversation. He turned his own comms to the frequencies of one of their helmets. "Mr. Theros is expected." He stated, and after a few more moments, the trooper came back on, saying that the bounty hunter wanted to deliver the prisoner personally. "He may, trooper. As I said before, he's expected. Any further signs of incompetence will be met with harsh punishment."

Silence, and then he heard the power lift starting up. He turned to face the exit door, his squad flanking his sides.

Once Felix's power lift stopped at the facility's lab level, he was greeted with the sight of FourSev and his new squad of android death troopers. They stood there, perfectly still, staring dead-on in Felix's direction. A few seconds of scanning to confirm Felix's identity with the one the guards reported, and FourSev knew he was the one. He must have been quite the sight, towering at 6'5 and flanked by the most terrifying troopers The Empire had to offer.

"You will come with us, bounty hunter." Came his powerful, robotized voice. It was less a request, more a command.
Edited FourSev's background. Even added a little tidbit about him being part of a new Elite Phase Zero initiative so it could be easier to tie him into Loretta's research.

I can accept that.Tell ya what. Show me so and I'll accept it (With maybe a bit more in the history why FourSev was chosen etc).I can probably link it into what Loretta is doing. Hell I can link her research into the Dark Trooper program.

Okay, I'll have that edited shortly, when I get home.

It wasn't AI that kept the clones loyal more indoctrination. AI in the SW universe is very low level. Also while it is nice, the Dark Trooper program didn't start really until around 0ABY. I mean I'd be okay with it if we were closer to the time as some kind of first stage however 5 years and on a backwater planet doesn't make much sense to me. Sorry.

Well, FourSev isn't a fully-developed dark trooper (so he's not a droid), making him a phase zero dark trooper. Phase Zero dark troopers were developed well before the battle of Yavin, Phase Ones even existed before then. Also, the fact that planet is backwater doesn't make a difference. It's an active war zone, so it's not a stretch of the imagination that at least a few dark troopers would be deployed to it. Also, Dark Troopers aren't exactly rare. The Empire uses them in the planetary security forces all the time.

(The only reason I'm bringing all this up is because I put A LOT of effort into that character sheet)
(I'm just going to put in a character sheet, since I'm super eager to join this. I posted in the interest check thread, but if I did something wrong JUST FEEL FREE TO YELL AT ME :D)

Name

#47-729

Species

About 30% Human (Clone)

Gender

Male

Affiliation

Imperial, but he takes orders only directly from the highest authority.

Appearance

#47-729 (or FourSev, as everyone calls him for the sake of convenience) is quite the imposing figure. His armor is immediately identifiable as non-standard within the imperial army, and the fact that he's around 6'4 doesn't help his case. Outside of his armor, (which is almost never) FourSev's story can be seen on his face (or what's left of it). Both of his eyes are cybernetic, and a ventilated respirator system replaces his mouth. Apart from that, all of his limbs are cybernetic, and military-grade at that (just like all of his other cybernetics. His torso and whats left of his head are ensconced in a non-removable plasteel carapace. The carapace on his head usually sits at the side of his head in two pieces, but when combat initiates, it slides shut in front of his face. It's designed so his eyes can see through it, but provides excellent protection to his head. Common small arms cannot damage his head.

His cybernetics are all painted jet-black, and his cybernetic limbs are all properly armored, giving him an extra layer of protection on essentially every part of his body. Shooting him is like shooting a combat droid wearing two suits of stormtrooper armor. His armor itself is designed to strike fear in the hearts of his enemies as a symbol of the power of the empire's army.

Equipment

- Shoulder-Mounted Blaster Cannon: A potent weapon designed to be used against ground troops and light vehicles. It fires single large blasts of laser energy that can burn holes straight through doors, combatants, and armored speeders. it takes a couple seconds between shots to recharge
-T-21 Light Repeating Blaster: The very same models used by peacekeeping forces on Tattooine, the T-21 is a venerable weapon that's comparable to an assault rifle. For most infantrymen, this weapon would require a bipod to use effectively, but FourSev can fire it from the hip with relative ease.
-Commando Pistol: A medium-powered automatic laser pistol that FourSev uses when all other methods of killing are exhausted.
- Wrist-Extendable Vibro Blade: Two feet long, and no-nonsense, this serrated vibro-blade can split a well-armored stormtrooper in half.
- Various Grenades: Stun, Pulse, and Thermal Dets. two of each.
-Himself: FourSev's body is just as dangerous as any one of his weapons. He's got strength, stamina, and agility much higher than a normal man could ever hope to attain.
-Cybernetics: His cybernetics come with a full suite of sensory systems, and redundant organs. There's also several diagnostic systems that aid him greatly in combat, even systems that analyze incoming fire to help him avoid it and find optimal cover.

Background

FourSev is a clone wars veteran, as his lack of a name reflects. He was part of a special-ops squad that operated behind separatist lines, as a weapons specialist. His squad operated around the end of the clone wars, just before the Empire was incepted. During a particularly dangerous mission, he was severely wounded, enough to be considered unfit for duty, but not completely unrecoverable. He was put into stasis, and the war ended while he was recovering. He was mostly forgotten, until the Empire found him, and they entered him into the Dark Trooper program. Originally, he was destined for the role of a Glory-class Dark Trooper, with nothing but "peacekeeping" in occupied cities for the rest of his existence. However, with the emergence of large-scale rebel activity, FourSev's fate was drastically altered.

The Empire, valuing the tactical expertise and weapons experience of a trained clone trooper, instead marked him up for the Elite Phase Zero initiative, a series of Dark Troopers with the power and technological tools of machines, but the adaptability of an organic mind. On top of that, was his star-studded service record.

He is honored for heroic performance during The Defense of Kamino, and his squad is credited with countless successful operations in every single major campaign after that. Honorable mentions include killing a battle droid commander unit during The Battle of Coruscant, playing a vital role during the destruction of the LAAT batteries on Utapau, his squad running support for Delta Squad on Kashyyk. Following Order 66, FourSev is personally credited with five Jedi kills, three being full knights, two being padawans. It was during the Jedi Purge that he sustained his injuries, after his entire squad was wiped out by an unidentified Jedi master. He lost most of the flesh on his left side, and his eyeballs were fried after a plasma tank exploded.

]
He didn't have a choice. He also has subroutines built into his cybernetics that prevent him from acting out against the empire, willingly or otherwise.
Argh, double post. IGNORE THIS
Oh Noes! Poor Rebels. I think I'm teaming up with the imps as a Type Zero Dark Trooper. I'm already working on a character sheet, expect it up shortly!
