If anything, I suspect this will lead to some interesting competiton.
Well, for an arena RP, I'd think that 3 is enough to start with
Both of you are accepted. We're waiting on a few more people, so hang in there!
Shor'Gen seemed to be oddly captured by M'rayl's nervousness. For the life of him, he couldn't understand why a security officer like her could be so shaky at a time like this. She was projecting an interesting scent, as well. A hint of adrenaline amidst the mostly flat scent of a light sweat. Her mouth was expelling carbon dioxide at an accelerated rate, and it was at that moment that Shor'Gen added "Mysteriously Sweaty M'rayl" to his always growing scent memory. He was about to approach her even more when Daniel's voice cut in (to M'rayl's great relief, no doubt), his attention seemed to be taken away from her for the moment, but he quickly turned his head to face her once again, to give her some parting words, in case she decided to pursue conversations elsewhere.

"As soon as the medical facilities are ready, I will call for you to report for a physical." Shor'Gen stated, before returning to address Daniel.

"A pleasure to meet you, Engineering Officer Daniel. You may pronounce me Lead Physician Shor'Gen. I am quite excited to serve aboard the Exalerune, it is my first extended starship depl-"

Shor'Gen suddenly stopped, going slightly rigid. The tendrils on his head stood still for a moment, and he turned hi head towards The Exy, only to relax and turn to face Daniel again. He could've sworn he heard some crates being toppled. "You must forgive me for my sudden outburst. My kind do not possess eyes, we see with sound, so as you might imagine, this loud starship hangar has me slightly disoriented. It will be good to finally enter the ship. Perhaps i shall spend a couple of hours in silence..."
If Important doesn't get his post up, I'll fill the gap with a post of my own.
OOC is up and running.

Blood and Grog OOC
Blood and Grog: It's like Game of Thrones but with the sex replaced with more yelling and stabbing

I have an idea for a Lord of The Rings RP with a twist. Playing Shadow of Mordor, I was inspired by the nemesis system, and how each individual Uruk has a personality and look that is unique to themselves. So, why not start an RP based on that idea?

That's right folks, a Shadow of Mordor RP where the players are all Uruks, trying to get by and climb the ladder. This RP is set up to be a mixture of Paranoia XP and Lord of The Rings, where PCs are encouraged not to shy away from stabbing their friends in the back if it means getting ahead. Eventually, the thread will end when either all of the PCs are dead (a situation that should never conceivably happen, since recruitment for this thread will be ongoing), or when one of the PCs becomes Warchief, essentially becoming the boss of all bosses.

The PCs will operate out of the fictional stronghold of Krom Peak, in the Udun Foothills, under the command of Warcheif Skerro The Pulverizer. The RP will be made in a sort of episodic format. Instead of being one continuous RP, events and the story in general will move in episodes, each of them centering around something like a raid (or even a visit from the Gravewalker himself), and each built upon by the events of the previous. PCs who distinguish themselves during a beast hunt (or through less legitimate, honorable ways) may find themselves with the ire of other orcs (PC or NPC), or even a new position in the next "episode".

Now, this is the important bit. These are the people needed:

-About six players to start, although the maximum will be about ten. A waiting list will be implemented, to make sure there’s always a steady supply of people to die. This RP is intended to be brutally unforgiving. The Uruks you thought were your valued supporters in your bid for Warchief might turn coats and decide to make you their new weapon testing dummy, or a rival may "accidentally" stab you in the back during a heated battle.

-Someone to run NPCs will be necessary as well. This person is in charge of running the Uruks in the background (who are also trying to get ahead), as well as any animals or enemies (which will usually be said background Uruks or animals). The NPC Master will also need to play Skerro The Pulverizer or any other important NPCs that come up, Whoever doing this needs to know what they’re doing, so if anyone’s interested in that position, they’ll need to PM me. This person is going to work closely with the person who’s running this thread, which brings me to the topic of...

-SOMEONE TO ACTUALLY RUN THIS. Yes, believe it or not, I’m not going to be running this, just approving character sheets, participating as a PC myself, and make sure the original idea is followed.

I’m going to be honest here, I’m absolutely rubbish at running these kinds of things (coordinator I ain’t), but would hate to see this idea go to waste simply because I don’t have the ability to run it. So, I’m looking for someone who CAN run it, someone who’s also played SoM and who knows the world it creates. Extra knowledge about Mordor in general is also highly valued.

The duties of the "GM" is where I was inspired by Paranoia. The GM's job is twofold. His/Her first responsibility is to collaborate with the person who's running NPCS and make sure the current "episode" is running smoothly. The second duty is the most important one. The GM's job is to judge the actions of player characters in a manner that is non-biased or objective. In short, the success of the PCs is mostly in the hands of the GM's ever so benevolent judgement. Characters who put more detail into their actions increase the chances of said actions succeeding, and characters who are interesting and entertaining might find their charming personalities to be the difference between death and a missing limb.

Whoever wants the opportunity to run this little endeavor should PM me. If I don’t find anyone suitable, I will attempt to run it myself. Even if I might not be up to the task, I’d rather pull my hair out than see this go to waste.

Without further ado, here’s the Character Sheet

STARTING EQUIPMENT LIMITATIONS:
-No more than two weapons, and these weapons can’t be anything too outrageous. Shields count as weapons.
-Nothing the other average Uruk wouldn’t have. Any particularly unique pieces of equipment needs to be approved by me.
-Things like poisons are allowed, but not in too high a quantity, and they may require approval.
I think that's perfectly acceptable.
If there's anything I can do to help, feel free to PM me as well!
Champion

Name: Herriman The Ever-Changing

Age: ageless

Sex: Male

Appearance:

Base image courtesy of google images, this image is photoshopped by me.

Herriman stands at about 6"3', and his voice is incredibly powerful and throaty. His voice is multi-layered, as if there were five other different voices speaking along with his own.

Powers/Skills/Weaponry:
- Setrak,The Destroyer of Eternties: This axe is charged with arcane power, and is incredibly potent. Not only is the edge devastatingly sharp and weapon itself nigh indestructible, but the axe can project razor sharp waves of magic as it swings, giving it a surprisingly dangerous reach. Apart from this, the axe is also used as the focus Herriman uses to cast spells. The axe itself is also intelligent, dangerously so. It's rumored that the axe known as Setrak possesses forbidden knowledge, privy to no other being in creation.

It is said that mortals killed by Setrak not only die in the current dimension they reside in, but they are also killed in all of the parallel universes they might reside in. This rumor is where Setrak gets the title "Destroyer of Eternities"

-The Baleful Hide: This hide (presumably from some other-dimensional beast) projects grand powers. When Herriman wears it, it protects his whole body (even the parts it doesn't cover) like a suit of invisible, magical armor. When in combat, the eyes of the beast glow a hateful red, and a terrible growling can occasionally be heard. Apart from its protective qualities, the hide can project arcane beams of energy out of its eyes

-Chaos Magic: Being a champion of The Raven God, Herriman is a potent sorcerer, but dangerously undisciplined. He furiously slings about unstable magic from his axe in the most haphazard manner as possible, making him a bit of a sorcerous berserker. Although his magic can be impressive, he can't exactly do anything beyond bursts of energy in the form of projectiles, centered blasts around himself, or auras. He can, however, tweak and play with the effects of his spells, allowing for him to imbue his projectiles, blasts, and auras with effects that range from fire to raw magical energy that warps and twists anything it touches.

-Wild Mutation: Herriman, using the power given to him by The Raven God, can alter his body in terrifying and dramatic ways. The blade arm seen in his picture is one of the countless ways he can alter his anatomy.

Deity

Name: His true name isn't known, but he goes by "The Raven God"

Sex: Male

Appearance:

Domains: The Raven God is the god of the multiverse, arcane power, fate, and forbidden knowledge

Combined

Alignment: Lawful Evil. The Raven God is an incredibly calculating and scheming individual, and this trait bleeds over to Herriman. Although Herriman doesn't do much scheming, he's an abhorrent opportunist, and he's always biding his time. Herriman is generally collected and wary, but during battle, he sheds whatever caution he might have possessed earlier. In battle, Herriman is a pure berserker, endlessly pouring out punishment in ways that are punishingly unpredictable.

History:

Stories about the origin of The Raven God are mixed, and vary wildly depending on who you ask. Some say that The Raven God wove all of creation out of the threads of fate, and now that he's finished, he's intent on dominating it. It is said that everything that has ever occurred is part of some impossibly complex, overarching plan The Raven God has put into place to take over all of creation, even when he's defeated. Those that fanatical worship him stress that his enemies only exist because The Grand Scheme wouldn't work without them.

Herriman himself has an obscure background. He was a warrior in a barbaric tribe of northmen, all who worshipped The Raven God. One day, like a baleful meteorite, Setrak came down from the heavens, landing in the center of Herriman's village. Only two men were brave enough to approach the crackling crater, and they were Herriman, and Azerath, the village's leader and a powerful warlord. Herriman was in a position to grab Setrak immediately, but after observing the axe, he stepped aside, allowing Azerath to take the axe first. As soon as Azerath pulled Setrak from the earth, he was bathed in arcane fire as the earth split from where Setrak had been removed. The flames consumed Azerath and his soul, and Herriman claimed the axe from his Azerath's smoldering blue ashes, claiming the leadership of his village and one of the most powerful weapons ever forged.

As Herriman slept that night, Setrak whispered to him promises of magnificent power and never-ending glory. When he awoke, he was hell-bound on acquiring these promises. He took the finest suit of armor in the village, the finest horse, and set off to claim the hide of an unnameable beast to prove his worth to The Raven God. After almost a hundred years of gathering power, followers, and favor with The Raven God, Herriman broke the veil between dimensions with Setrak, and unleashed the beast he had been pursuing for so long. It was one, god-like beast against a veritable army of followers, and after a battle that lasted for several days, Herriman was the one to lift the beast's hide towards the sky, and claim his place as the sole champion of The Raven God
