So uh I've been craving to do a couple of fandom (mostly anime) roleplays lately and though I'm more looking to use OCs, I will use canon characters for only specific topics (I will specify). I am usually mid-casual to low-advanced and I usually try to match my partners' posts, so I will try my best not to give you one or two sentences. All sort of romance is fine with me (FxM, MxM, FxF) and I will try to reply at least once a day. As it is easier for me to keep track, I will only roleplay through forums and not PMs.

As for topics, I am looking to do:

One Piece: Dawn of a New Pirate Age (Daisuke & KiltmanBagz)

I'll edit these in with my characters when I have more time.

Chef

Name: Toboe
Bounty and Title: N/A for now
Age: 14 (approximately)
Gender: Male
Race: Red Panda
Crew Position: Chef
Appearance: He is a young red panda who is about the size of a domestic cat. He has white ears, black fur surrounding his eyes, a white muzzle and other white markings on his red-brown fur. His flank is completely reddish brown and his paws are completely black. His striped tail resembles one of a raccoon, only less bushy and instead of black and gray, his is reddish brown and dark brown. His eyes are the color of emeralds and his whiskers are smooth and always pointing downward. He wears a periwinkle and baby blue scarf around his neck, which he received as a gift from his mentor and he wears a small apron around his waist.
Personality: To be revealed IC
Backstory: Toboe was originally born on a small, inhabited island in the Grand Line and he lived with his parents until he accidentally discovered and ate the Hito Hito no Mi or the Human Human Fruit, which gave him human intelligence and the ability to understand and speak the human language. Because of this, he was shunned by his family and he was left to fend for himself. One day, a pirate ship landed on the island and a pirate thought that the red panda's fur would sell for a lot of Beli, so they took the creature on board their ship.

The pirate ship was eventually taken down by a marine ship and the marines took Toboe along with all of the pirates' gold. Toboe was then going to be used as a food source for the marines and he was sent to the kitchen where he met his mentor, a woman named Keko. Keko was the head chef of the ship and she took pity in the red panda. Instead of killing him for food, she gave him his name, Toboe, and she decided to teach him all she knew about cooking. Toboe immediately became interested in the culinary arts and he began to help Keko in the kitchen.

Keko was the first one to see Toboe's two Zoan transformations, one being a human and the other being a human-red panda hybrid and rather than being afraid of them, she wanted him to use his stronger forms in the kitchen. Though the other marines are afraid of Toboe's powers and they don't quite understand them, they appreciate his hard work in the kitchen and they allowed him to stay on board. He eventually became the sous chef under Keko's control and Toboe wanted a way of thanking her for the position by cooking her a meal that would be too difficult for his skill set. He ended up making her a difficult meal, but he accidentally used a toxic ingredient that ended up killing Keko. Before Keko died, she gave him the periwinkle and blue scarf that she would always wear for good luck. Even when he ended up killing her, Keko wanted Toboe to grow up to be the best chef in the world.

After Keko's death, Toboe became the head chef of the kitchen and he would eventually be invited to join a pirate crew because of his magnificent culinary skills.

Skills: Along with his elite culinary expertise, Toboe's Devil Fruit allows him to transform into both a human and a human-red panda hybrid. He uses his human form for cooking but if provoked, he could also use his human form for combat. During his days with Keko, she gave him a gift called a "Rumble Ball", which gives him additional transformations for only three minutes. He stores these Rumble Balls inside his apron just in case he needs to use them.

Doctor

Name: Janikki
Bounty and Title: He is called the 'Son of the Shamen King' in his home village, but he has no official title or bounty.
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Race: Birdman
Crew Position: Doctor
Appearance: He is a lanky young man (about 5'9") with black hair that goes down to his shoulders (and is tied into various braids) and brown eyes. His nose and mouth is replaced with a toucan's beak and instead of arms, he has two large black wings. His torso and legs are of a human's but his feet are the talon's of a bird. His scrawny figure and hollow gives him the ability to fly although he cannot carry too much weight. He does not wear a shirt but rather has various symbols and tattoos all over his chest, legs, face and back, which is normal for his tribe. The only piece of clothing he wears are a pair of long olive pants that go all the way down to his bird-like feet.
Personality: To be revealed IC
Backstory: Janikki was born and raised on one of the scattered islands in the South Blue. He is the only son of his tribe's chief, Kanik, and he is expected to become the tribe's next chief. His tribe lives in huts located in the large canopies of trees that inhibit most of the island and this hides them from enemies, especially pirates. Though he is being trained to be the next chief, Janikki spends most of his time with the tribe's shamen, Aurumai. Aurumai is essentially the tribe's only doctor, though he claims that he can predict the future and he can see various spirits. The tribe does not take him seriously and they have outcasted him to live in a hut located in the smallest tree on the island. The whole tribe knows of Janikki and Aurumai's relationship, and Janikki eventually gains the nickname "The Son of the Shamen King" from the other tribesman.

Janikki learned everything he needed to know about medicine from Aurumai and instead of being chief, he wants to become a doctor. Once he tells his father about his dream, Kanik is enraged and he sends a group to assassinate Aurumai without telling Janikki beforehand. Aurumai somehow already knew about the attack (probably by using his "powers") and he vanishes from his hut, never to be seen again. Janikki misses his only friend and mentor because he was able to escape from his responsibilities of becoming a chief.

He is currently still living on the island with his bird tribe and he wishes for an opportunity to leave the island and to become a real doctor like Aurumai.

Skills: He has little to no combat skills whatsoever, which is why he does not want to become the chief of his village. Rather that physical strength, Janikki has vast knowledge of medicine and he can cure many diseases. His medical tactics are primitive since he lives on such an isolated island, but his skills will come in handy for a pirate crew in need of a skilled doctor.
