Changed my character a little in personality.

Jeonbae would probably get along fine with Myrtle, what with all the human mannerisms he's seen. But as you said, she'll be a little... suspicious of him :3
Name: Jeonbae

Dragon age: Grandfather/Grandpa

Age from hatching: 433

Gender: Male

Magic: Jeonbae can create as well as control lightning and lightning strikes and arcs. Because of this, he is one of the only dragons able to fly in a thunderstorm without getting struck by lightning. During a thunderstorm, or if one is nearby, he can call down a lightning bolt at will at any place within a few kilometers of where he is. If a thunderstorm isn't around, he can create lightning but it wouldn't be as strong as normal. In addition, with some effort, he can control electrical pulses of the nervous system within humans and some dragons, but only while in contact with them. As well as being able to control thunderclouds, he can, in a way, look through nearby thunderclouds and gain a hazy, bird's-eye view on the world below. However, it is difficult for him to control the way electricity travels in water and thus may be able to electrocute himself in some situations, albeit without much harm. An unusual aspect about his powers is that Jeonbae has learned to control it in some situations by humming.

Personality: Jeonbae is friendly around almost everyone, often contributing to whatever people might be talking about. In front of most people, he laughs a lot and tends to joke sometimes, and is supportive. However, he can be very analytical and even critical sometimes, noticing faults in someone, but usually chooses to overlook them and be accepting of what they are. He's a quick thinker, making him good in arguments and debates against others. While he is able to forgive others, he can hold negative feelings for a long time but normally can let go after some time. It may be hard to gain his trust, but if you can, he can be the most loyal dragon you can know. He can also get excited about sometimes superficial things in a childish way, especially rare items. When asked nicely to do something within reason, he is obliging, but he hates people who are clingy. So much.

Background: Jeonbae was born in a small clutch of eggs in the middle of a large, flat plain, only three including himself. Despite what often happens, the three dragons bonded together well, forming a friendship that would last for a long time. His parents often lived outside the nearby tribe, preferring the open space of the fields. However, unbeknownst to the family, hunters had started scouting the area. One day, a group happened upon the family, and notified everyone else. Thankfully, they escaped before the hunting party could come to kill the dragons. The family moved into the tribe permanently after that. For a while, he was a bit of an outcast because he was born outside. To others, it didn't look like he minded too much, but it hurt him a little. Later, when Jeonbae became a teen at post-hatching age 50, he became interested the tribe's economy and trading. Soon enough, he was contributing to the small economy that existed between dragon tribes. For a long time he would ferry goods between tribes, often spending years away from his home. One day, when he was flying between two tribes that were a little far apart, he was spotted and targeted by a human city on the ground below. Unfortunately, he was hit by one of the city's war machines, and forced to land rather close to the city. The humans captured him out of fear of retribution, and for several months he was jailed, unable to escape. During his time there, he managed to glean a little of human trading culture and became immensely interested in the possibility of trading between the tribes and the humans. Eventually he managed to escape and run back to the tribe he was supposed to go to. He was treated for lasting wounds, but he never told anyone about his new dream. When he returned to his home tribe after a long time, he requested permission from the GreatGrandmother of the tribe if he could trade some goods between dragons and humans. She reluctantly agreed, but under the condition that it's secret. For another hundred and fifty years, he's been trading with human cities around the area, sometimes branching out to the north or south, returning to the tribe once or twice every few years. When he passed the age test to become a Grandpa, he was required to stay around his home-tribe in order to protect it and fulfill. However, by then he had amassed a decent fortune in goods, and has continued to trade with cities close by. As well as trading, he has made sure to report of any plans the human cities had against the dragon tribes to the GreatGrandmother.
I'll have something up later tonight or tomorrow.
Maybe a war or argument with human tribes over either land or sonething else like kidnapped children? I can think of some more ideas if you want.
Accidental double post, sorry
I'm interested ^^
Andrew breathed slowly. The first life on Earth he had taken was that of a child. It seemed very surreal, as if this was a bad dream and he could just wake up and go to the grocery store like he intended, and keep on having a normal life. He heard a shuffling in the alley near him.
"No..." a small voice said, weak and almost lifeless.the source being a young boy of similar age with a pair of cracked glasses on his face. The seal on his arm was low, so he was desperate. The boy stumbled over to the crumpled body of the one Andrew had just killed. Andrew just stood there. He had no idea how to handle the situation. Before he could walk away, the boy spoke again, turning to Andrew.
"Murderer..." he muttered, voice laced with hatred. Andrew's skin tingled, and a shiver went down his spine in anticipation.
"You...killed him..." he said, his voice louder this time. "You killed my brother! I'll kill you!" A burst of energy from the boy's body threw Andrew off balance and falling on his side. A vortex of white energy had surrounded the boy's body. With palm extended, a ball of wind and energies formed, and with great ferocity, the boy threw it towards him. Anticipating the attack, Andrew crossed his arms and constructed a kinetic barrier. But then there was nothing. The landscape had vanished into a white... endlessness. There were three other people, each of them with full seals. Andrew prepared to make a barrier, but a voice told him to stop. He listened as the voice, Rai, explained their problem and how these people, apparently named Carson, Aria, and Spencer, were in the same situation. When the deal was proposed, Andrew firmly nodded. He'd be happy to help if he could prevent himself from killing more people.
Will post tomorrow if I can.
Still here. Willing to keep this going.
After what had just happened, Andrew took the time to listen to Mr. Descent. When the seal was mentioned, Andrew stared down at his arm. The swirling tattoo had an ominous aura to it, as with everything about its maker. He directed his attention to the screen where a young man in nice clothes was displayed. He simply watched as fire consumed the boy after a similar seal on his arm ran out. He continued to listen, just about numb with fear, as Mr. Descent explained how it worked, and as he gave everyone five minutes to live.

After Mr. Descent had laughed and left, Andrew looked around at the streets. The televisions remained dark, but people were still up and about. From one of the alleys came a young boy, chains dangling from somewhere inside his arm. The boy stared at Andrew with an intensity. While Andrew didn't want to die with fire, he didn't want to kill either. He didn't have much time to consider alternative options as the boy rushed at him with a desperate cry. Andrew shielded his front with arms crossed, and blue particles manifested between the two combatants, stopping the young boy short. Andrew could feel power flowing into him as the boy struggled against the barrier. After a few seconds, the boy stopped, out of breath, hands on his knees. He stared up at Andrew with a pleading look on his face. Andrew faltered, hesitant to kill, but he had to do it. He mouthed an apology and a prayer as he held his right palm in front of him, drawing on the kinetic energy stored. A shockwave, made out of similar particles, blasted Andrew off his feet and sent the boy crashing against a nearby building. The seal on Andrew's arm reset.
