The Very End; Sci-fi + Action/Adventure RP

You wake to the sounds of waves crashing along the shoreline. The heat of the sun and the sand warms your body as you lay lifeless, trying to regain consciousness and to calm your mind. Opening your eyes you slowly come to your senses. As the foggy images from your eyes become clearer by the second, you see bodies of others all around you. The throbbing pain in your head doesn’t help either, as you remember nothing. The one and only thing you know that is true is your own name. Nothing else comes to you, only your name, and everything else is grey.

This RP is a sci-fi, action/adventure role-play. The general concept and idea of this RP is to survive and to find out more about one another and about the island as much as possible. Our characters are thrown onto and island that is surrounded by an ocean that seems endless. The beach they are thrown on is one of the safest places on the island. Deeper inland are forests and jungles full of unknown threats and dangers, but one thing is for certain, the deeper you go the more answers you will find.

What I am looking for are both dedicated and creative players and characters to join me to help create something that will be thrilling, fun, and exciting for everyone. A group of about seven or eight others is what I’m looking for, to give our cast a diverse group with unique and differing personalities.

A heads up about characters is that our characters will have to be between the ages of 15 – 22. There are reasons for that, but they will be explained later in the OOC possibly.

This is just an interest check for now, but I’m hoping to have the OOC and IC topic up as soon as possible!

Pokemon: Among Stars Together

Once he had finished registering his team for the tournament, Conor made his way back out to the tourist filled streets. The liveliness of the festival was growing and growing exponentially by the hour, hyping Conor for the tournament. It wasn't going to start until tomorrow, but no matter what, he was excited and prepared to actually be battling competitively again.

With Bo still by his side, the duo wandered the streets checking out every single stall they missed out on from their little walk through from earlier, hoping to find something they possibly missed. Minutes into a new stall, looking at Pokemon accessories and treats, there was a loud, vicious roar exploding in the air. The roar shook through the air, causing many people to stop in their tracks and look up at the sky. The loud roar was coming from a few streets over, causing Conor to grow with curiosity.

"Let's not go to the scary sound!" Bo cheerfully said, knowing full well that his trainer was going to ignore him anyways.

"You're right, we should check it out, shouldn't we?" Conor sarcastically replied, patting his Pichu on the head. Hustling through the streets he slithered through the crowd in minutes, making his way to another huge crow circling a battle. He wiggled his way into the front of the circled crowd and once in the middle he saw that there stood two trainers and their Pokemon. Two gigantic beasts roared at one another, their eyes angered and roars full of rage. To the right stood a blonde trainer with an Ursaring and his opponent was another boy with jet, black hair and a Beartic. Both trainers and their bears roared in unison as they clashed, matching blow for blow.

"Their strengths are on par," a voice chimed in next to Conor. He looked like a native to the island, having darker skin and an islander accent, similar to the first woman he met that morning. "This battle will make for an exciting one, don't 'cha think?"

Conor gave the man a nod in agreement, taking note that the two could possibly be his competition in the tournament the following day. It made his blood boil even more, watching the two bears fight.

I'm back. Sorry it took a lot longer than what I had anticipated or said, settling in and getting everything A-OK and good in the new place was and still is a lot harder than I had thought. I have internet now so I will be getting things done by tonight hopefully! I have to catch up on a few things, but I will do my best to get it all done as soon as possible!

Heads up, at the moment I'm in the process of moving so I won't be on as much, and internet will be wacky, plus it is July 4th weekend, family time yanno?

Anyways, again, I just wanted to give a heads up. I'll try my best to get on as much as possible.

And as for all those others that are asking if they can join, yes we're still open.

Also I'm moving into a new place this week and into next week, so I won't have internet connection. I'm trying my best to get on as much as possible so right now things will be handled very slow.

Sorry you just didn't exactly put up any rules and Hunter here was based on a Champion best of the best Pokemon tournament roleplay xD if his age is really a big deal I can change it to fifteen or just nix that part all together.Latios is one of the legendaries where there are apparently multiple of which is why I chose him (not like Articuno or Mew or Suicune blah) but I can nix him out as well if he bothers you so xD

It's not that the age is that big of a deal, it's just realistically, would a 10 year old be able to be a champion who might be in his late teens and above in raising, training, and battling Pokemon? I know there's luck and whatnot, but it just wouldn't happen realistically in my honest opinion.
And as for Latios, I believe there was a trainer who had one in the anime, but again, having a legendary at such a young age, I'd like to think you'd have to spend a long time searching for one to actually find it or obtain it.

@Sketcher: Iron looks great, the only thing that bothers me is that you want A LOT of Pokemon who can Mega Evolve. I don't have a problem with Mega Evolution, but I'd like to think each trainer would have ONE per team. I mean, you can keep those Pokemon, but let's try to limit it to ONE Pokemon who can mega evolve in a party.
