Also started replaying Dishonored for the first time since 2012-3. Still love the world and atheistic. Stealth route is not as satisfying but more fulfilling.

I started playing through XCOM 2 for the first time since Feb. There's a lot of BS still going on, but it's addictive as ever.

Nihil, God of Absence

An interesting premise, and can be a good contrast to the (mostly) morally good Gods around here. If you accept that you may be put on trial (or instantly banished to The Underworld if you piss off Balsis enough), which should be a no-brainer, then this character is pretty much in.

In other news, IC play will begin on Friday, at around 11:00 AM, GMT+2. Online countdown timer here.

He, and we both use others' work for or own. Interesting and funny, as long as we are appropriately low powered in most matters

I just imagined Synn and Artis being at odds with each other.Control versus Chaos.

I'm going to accept you then, after Artis' power was rewritten. What I feared about your character, Synn, is going around, collecting abilities from each God, and then, for lack of a better word, f-ing with the world. So, yes, this may happen and I will allow it to happen as a GM, but this won't go well on Balsis. As for Artis, I feared that being able to spawn anything out of thin air was too OP for a "Sphere of influence", but after this discussion, I believe I can approve your characters for now.
Also, I think this "God rivalry" is an interesting group dynamic.

I've... Kind of lost interest, so I'll be rescinding my claim on goddess of war. Sorry for the inconvenience. ^^;

Sorry to hear that, but it is getting quite crowded. Unless anyone has any objections, I believe starting tomorrow will be adequate, with registrations still open until Monday (including Monday).

Creation - If he wishes he may create things out of thin air, but not on the most powerful level. He can usually only manifest small objects.

Is OP. Besides not giving enough info to justify it (what is a "powerful level"?), you're practically looking at all the Gods and saying "I can create whatever they can, but smaller". Like I explained to Grey Dust, there's a reason why Gods have spheres of influences: so everyone can play a part.

In other news, that's quite a lot of players. I think we'll start on Friday or Saturday. Registration will be open for a brief while after IC play will begin.
So, anyways, everyone who sent char sheets are accepted - great work, everyone - except Synn, God of Control.

The Grey Dust said The Celestial Conduit, Aspect of Subjugation and Freedom
is overpowered as hell. I get the idea of a darker God without an absolute sphere of influence, but this is way too OP. You can trick a God to side with you and then create a disaster, or maybe bribe everyone to become a super-God. This might sound intresting in theory, but in practice I think it's going to be obnoxious and unfair to some players, and very hard to DM for.

Seems like the goddess of the hunt isn't need too much, so does anyone have an objection if I take The goddess of gravity?

This is way too specific and you may not have much fun with it but your call.
Aaaand you're in, too. Great character.
Oh, and a note about Gods in general. They are all invisible to all creatures, and can maneuver wherever they like in a flash. They may reveal themselves to certain creatures/communities/whatever for however long they wish.

I don't mind making a second character if some typical God spots aren't claimed. When do you think we'll begin?

I'm not sure that it'll be manageable to play as two separate characters, and even if so I think it's a bit unfair for others; but even if we don't get "typical" Gods, the fun of it is to create a universe with what we've got.
The IC play will start preferably when all claimed spots will be filled. I'd give it about a week until we start.
Also, an important note. If no God is generated to create something during the creation of the universe, then Balsis will create it (e.g. if there's no God to create Land, Balsis will create the Earth; if there's no God to make the Sun and stars, Balsis will, etc.)

I'm guessing Ybris will get along/work with Finnos as well, while not liking the God(dess) of Hunt and especially not the Goddess of War since both hunting and war lead to death

You can work this out between yourselves. Group dynamics are also important in this RP.
Other than that, Finnos is accepted. I'm going to assume he can also control humans, as humans are animals.
