House Landry of Fallow Hill
The castle of Fallow Hill, and the village that shares it's name, have stood strong for over a thousand years, resting upon a ridge at the foot of the Mountains of the Moon, the great peaks that mark the border between the Riverlands and the Vale. The castle watches over vast crop fields that stretch as far as the eye can see, with their lands being the most prolific source of food in the region. The town hosts a festival every so often when there has been a particularly bountiful harvest, rewarding the farmers for their work, who leave their lands to rest in the town for a harvest cycle; thus the name, Fallow Hill.

Fiercely loyal to House Tully, the banner of House Landry has been sworn to the Lord of Riverrun for numerous generations. With a maximum military strength of up to 2,500 men and 300 horses, they protect their lands well and seldom allow for bandits to damage and raid. In wars and battles gone by, House Landry has played their part well, and has always responded to their call.

Due to their surplus of supplies and adjacency to the Kingsroad, which sits only a few miles from the castle, House Landry are one of the most stable families in the Riverlands, but have been known to re-invest their wealth into their farmlands and military, rarely flaunting material goods. 

The house is currently led by Lord Edwyn Landry, a quiet, well-respected military man who follows in the footsteps of his father, Lothor, who was loyal and just. He has five children, four of which are boys, and three living siblings, meaning the future of the house is very stable. However, Morgain Landry, eldest son of Edwyn, has been missing for two years, leaving Edmund Landry, the second son of Edwyn, as the de facto heir.

House Landry has a bitter historical rivarly with House Haigh of Deepbank, who are vassals to House Frey. The origin of the rivalry is disputed, but soured to it's worst during the Dance of the Dragons, when the lord of House Haigh murdered the lord of House Landry in his own home. Ever since, the houses have despised eachother, and Walker Haigh, current lord of his house, is publicly known to despise Lord Edwyn.@Danelaw

Lord Edwyn's squire. Son of Ser Royce Deddings. A quiet, polite and obedient lad who wishes to someday be a knight. Short red hair, freckled skin, and hazel eyes. Burly build, and tall for his age. Maester Oylen, Male | 66 | Dornishman (Salty)
The maester of Fallow Hill. Olive skinned, brown eyed and bald headed, with a short, pointy black beard. A kind, selfless man, who is grateful to serve the family. Enjoys teaching children. Ser Royce Deddings, Male | 45 | Riverman
Captain of the guards of Fallow Hill. Ginger, greying hair that is cut short. Short, full beard, and icy grey eyes. A stern, focused face, and a round, stout belly. Keeps the castle's guard in good shape. Quite impatient with children, but not cruel. Has a lot of respect for the lord and the man-at-arms. A cousin to Lord Clarence Deddings. Ser Tristifer Paege, Male | 56 | Riverman
Head of the lord's personal guard. An old knight who has been in service of the Landrys for decades. Long, thin light-brown hair is tied into a pony-tail, with a rugged eight-inch brown beard hanging from his chin. He carries a simple warhammer. Has a wrinkled face and grey eyes. A loyal man who has put his life on the line for his lord on multiple occassions. Outspoken and opinionated, but for the greater good.Current Location: Fallow Hill, the Riverlands.

Allyn, Male | 54 | Riverman
Houndmaster of Fallow Hill. A former huntsman who befriended Lord Lothor in his younger days and now spends his days tending to the castle's kennel. He is a kind man who always offers a warm smile to the children of the House. He is hard-working, dedicated, and loyal, and was entrusted with raising Robert Rivers. He is a short, brown-eyed man, with curly, greying brown hair, and a short grey beard.Current Location: Fallow Hill, the Riverlands.

Robard, Male | 37 | Riverman
The blacksmith under Lord Landry's employ. Son of Dickon, who served the House for fifty years before passing away. Robard is as talented and loyal as his father, and is content working away knowing he lives under the protection of Lord Edwyn. He is a broad-shouldered man that stands around 6'3, with balding black hair, blue eyes, and a full black beard.Current Location: Fallow Hill, the Riverlands.

Indiriyo Daratis, Male | 37 | Pentoshi
The Master of Trade employed by House Landry. A curious and charismatic man from the Free City of Pentos. Outspoken, but intelligent. He is broad and strong-bellied, standing at an average height. His hair is black and tied into a bun, but his short beard and up-turned moustache is dyed a smoky blue. He has olive skin and brown eyes. Hired by Lord Edwyn, who met him in King's Landing. Since taking over, he has helped increase trade profits significantly. He has a pet cat, a six-year old tortoiseshell named Tealeaves. Current Location: Fallow Hill, the Riverlands.

Septon Mortimer, Male | 61 | Riverman
A man truly dedicated to the faith. He is well read and wise, and always offers his understanding ears to those who need guidance. He runs the septry of Fallow Hill. He is good friends with Maester Oylen, who he enjoys frequent debates with. He is the son of a blacksmith from the Twins, and was cast out from his home in his youth, following a troubled path that eventually led to religion, and, in his mind, redemption. He has short grey hair and a grey beard, and brown eyes.

Mace Snow, Male | 18 | Northman
The only known bastard child of Baldric Durant in the Riverlands. Mace was born of a prostitute Baldy did not love at a Brothel in winter town. Mace has been raised by the women of Fallow Hill, growing up with Lord Edwyn Landry’s children. He is squire to Ser Royce Deddings, and is expected to one day take his place as captain of the guards. The boy possesses a similar stature as his father at 6' 4" weighing 220 Lbs. His hair and eye color are similar to his father's; brown hair and blue eyes. He must have gotten his personality from his mother as he tends to be a bit more expressive than Baldric which translates into audacity on the battlefield. Mace could easily find himself at the tip of a point in a wedge charging into the enemy. His father tells him to back off once in awhile. It will surely mean the death of him. Third son of Lothor Landry, and brother of Lord Edwyn. An meticulous, calculated man. Has little emotional attachment, and enjoys the quiet. Shoulder-length red hair, cleanshaven. Blue eyed. Thin. Always wanted to be a maester, since he was a boy. Now serves House Merryweather of the Reach. Current Location: Longtable, the Reach.

Jon Landry, Male | 32 | Riverman
Fourth son of Lothor Landry, and brother of Lord Edwyn. He had always been a strange, sickly boy. Gaunt, pale as milk, with dark brown, short hair. He squired for Lord Mallister of Seagard as a teenager, but got into a bitter argument with the Lord's ward, whom he beat within an inch of their life. Escaped after being sent to take the black. Hasn't been seen since, but is rumoured to be alive.Current Location: UNKNOWN.

Maya Piper, Female | 30 | Riverman
Youngest child and only daughter of Lothor Landry, and sister of Lord Edwyn. A open-minded, light-hearted girl. Easily the most talkative and extroverted of her siblings. Enjoys stitching clothes and horse-riding. Quite pretty, with long brown hair and green eyes. Short, and thin. Formerly married to the recently-deceased Derrick Piper, brother to Lord Clement Piper of Pinkmaiden. Mother of the two-year-old Artos. Current Location: Pinkmaiden, the Riverlands.

A patient man, who has a good sense of honour. He strongly resembles his father, with thin brown hair, grey eyes and a thick beard. Respects the Landrys. He is unmarried. Son of Ser Leslyn, fifth in line for lordship. A mediocre fighter, but an excellent rider. Squire to Lord Clarence Deddings. Has lived in Sweetwillow for the last six years of his life. Has a good heart, and doesn't agree with a lot of what his family does. He has blue eyes and thin brown hair. Respects the Landrys. The thirteenth son of Lord Walder Frey of the Twins, and one of the greatest fighters from the family. He serves as the master-at-arms for House Haigh. Standing at an imposing 6'4, with a broad, muscular stature, Jammos is bald and has a stubbly face, with brown eyes so dark they look black. Long brown hair, brown eyes, and a stubbly chin. The heir to the house, Jasper is a seasoned knight who has the same temper as his father, and values honour just as much.
