Olli is an experienced trainer, having been brought up within a town obsessed by mythology, Olli always loved the sense of excitement and adventure that came with the myths as a kid his father used to tell him tales of legendary pokemon from all regions of the world. Olli finally grew old enough to become a trainer and on that day set out to be an explorer of mystery just like his father. Chimchar was the first pokemon to be given to Olli by Professor Rowan, however a couple of days after obtaining Chimchar, Olli fell into a chasm whilst training, Olli was unable to move and chimchar was too weak to move him. Olli started to cry, he was young and really could not see a way out. Just as Olli began to abandon hope, his cries were heard by an Absol who's sense for disaster drove him to help Olli out. Absol after this moment developed strong bonds with Olli and Chimchar. Olli has obtained all badges within sinnoh but has never took part in the pokemon leauge there. After collecting his eigth badge from Sinnoh, Olli took a boat to Kalos in the hunt for friendships and adventure.
