Her parents were divorced, but she lived a pretty fine life. Got B's and C's, shared a love of sports with her father, and got in a couple fist fights with boys at school. She took care of herself most of the time, as her fathers worked caused him to be away from home often.
She was supposed to graduate from high school, but that got cancelled for obvious reasons. (Flesh eating humanoids? Not the best graduates.) By the time the hunters moved into her community, Kelly had put all of her sports and camping gear into use, including her favorite bat. She gave up trying to buy things, instead just scavenging from stores and doing what she could to get by. Being very active came in handy, and she is able to scout around and scavenge with minimal trouble.
Not too long after she stopped going to school, and her father disappeared one day. She tries to keep an eye out for him, but there has been no trace. She knows her mother is dead, but hasn't given up hope that somehow her father made it. She ended up passing out after a supply trip, and when she awoke she found a tattoo on her hand that definitely hadn't been there before.

Combat Skills: Prefers long range combat and magic. Most used weapon is long bow, as her aim an focus is better than her physical strength. Prefers using magic because it is easy and convenient.

Only uses nature based magic, but where she lives it is quick and easy for her. Magic potency dwindles in less vegetated areas, because as she is Dyrad, she depends on nature, as does her magic. Growth: Causes accelerated growth in plants. Nature Control: Gains control over nearby vegetation and the ability to use them, almost like an extra limb. Natural Defense: Creates a large wall of vegetation (Usually tree or thorns.) Around allies. Has a chance of causing exhaustion. Suggestion: Allows user to plant a suggestion or doubt in an enemy's mind. This causes makes their loyalty sway and continued exposure could lead to insanity. However, this affects her as well, so the more effort she puts into controlling someone, the less control she has over herself.

Briar Thorns: Poison thorns appear around her body, almost like an armor. However, they also are poisonous to the user, and the longer they stay on, the longer it takes to recover.
Artificial Spirit Sheet Name: Alida Varga Personality: Nervous and jittery. Prefers peace, is scared of almost everything. Talents: Beast taming, Camouflage (Changing herself to blend in with her environment)

@Dark Angel: The giants are literally just large people. It'll be explained in charater later, but it's based on the person's soul (I'm taking a lot of background concepts from Dark Souls series). So those with large souls (whether good or bad hearts) grew proportionally to their soul's size.

History: Catherine wasn't born in the town, rather she was born in a nearby city. She was moved to the town when she was 5 to live with her mother, a teacher. She went chasing after her cat (The one she looks like she's about to douse with water) into the forest, and hasn't seem him since.
Personality: Catherine is a calm and quiet individual, but enjoys the company of others, listening whole heartedly. She is extremely clumsy, managing to bump into everything from posts to people and cannot be trusted to hold anything fragile except for her journal, which she has a tendency to write down observations about others in to look at later. Even though she has a lot of bad luck, she tries not to let it get her down, believing that she needs to help others and can't do that while moping around.
