Bio

A 25-year-old nerd(?), male, from Germany. In-between jobs. Likes to play games and Pen and Paper (Tabletop RPG) Campaigns. Self-proclaimed author of a Lore/Setting, Master of Morgana in Mid Lane since Season 3 (NA server until recently, switched over to EUW for better Ping and playing with friends) and gamer extraordinaire. Soldier at heart, lover in mind. Dabbler of Arcana Seraph and master of demonology. Whether those things are true or not shall be held in the viewer's eye.

My interests are in settings up and about Vampire: The Masquerade (or anything non-Twilight related vampires -- I have not watched any vampire series like True Blood or Vampire Diaries), game settings of Dark Souls and fantasy settings such as Elder Scrolls or Dragon Age, and TV series such as Lucifer, just to name a few. Always open for conversation.

People can find me on Discord at Poromancer#5108 . Those interested may also receive my Skype.

You know, I don't know much about X-Men, but this RP seems like it might be something I could get into; I have a character that could fit in well here, I think. I have some questions, though.

First, what's your stance on mature students? (I.e. students older than 20?) I assume you can get them here, since you get them in real universities; I've met one student at mine who's at least over 40.

Secondly, how much do you expect from us post-wise? Just to be thorough.

Massive typos incoming...

This is very loosely based on X-Men, so it should be newcomer friendly. You can post your character and we'll see how it goes.

Looking at the way modern Universities and probably Colleges are, there could be a way for late-students to show up. Our University has a special program for studying at 50. It should work out, iif I find the reason for the late enrollment for plausible.

Post-wise, it should be cclear from the opening post: be able to post at least a paragraph, keep it clean from profanities if they are not applicable (or otherwise unfitting) and do all the lusty and over PEGI-13 (?) stuff for private convos.

I hope this covered all you needed to know. I will be fully operational by Sunday evening, so with luck I'll open up the IC then.
Hello. Lack of proper typing mechanism is a pain...

Well in short, I will check through the sheets and those tthat apply by Sunday. I allow as many applications as we can get. The morw the merrier.
Well, it is settled from my point of view, then. Luke's in. The same goes for Alex. I will post them in the characters by the end of the week, which brings me to my next update. I am stupid and forgot to take my tablet with me. I will keep track of the OOC, but won't be able to type too large texts...

Having a weakness to the other is pointless when you have control over both. Either cover the area in complete darkness, which he can do, or illuminate the entire area which he can also do.

The biggest problem is his control over life and death coupled with his ability to use ALL of his powers when pissed off. So no one on the team has to worry about dying or risking their life. There's no sense of danger. You can't beat him in a fight. IF you manage to beat him up then you still lose after he gets mad and uses ALL of his powers.

Okay, I see the issue now... And that is indeed an issue of importance... This character is more than over the top then...

Trust me, Leopold is so childish, most students will wonder how the hell he made a teacher position. He teaches computer-science using video-games and his English assignments almost always involve comic books. He's the teacher with a nerf gun in one pocket and the D20 in the other that kids come to to unwind or ask an adult questions without fear of reprisal.

I will consider this until we go IC. If I still happen to find it implausible for a professor to join the freshmen, then you might have to make him a student...

Character is extremely overpowered. There's no concern of life or death with him around. Looks like he can just kill or revive anyone he wants as well as deny his own death. There's no counterplay to his abilities.

Well, I doubt that his powers have a drawback myself, but he stated as weaknesses "Darkness" and "Light", and the smaller the details about weaknesses are, the more open I interpret them and counteract the powers accordingly. If you are still concerned that his abilities are over the top, then I ask Branch to tone him down.
GM character (might show up a little...)

Name: Michelle Frederique Jameson
Alias: Jackhammer
Sex: Female
Age: 20

Appearance:

Normal clothing attire would consist of ripped jeans, boots, leather jackets and shirts.

Powers:
As far as Michelle is concerned with her powers, it is a "hit them hard" thing. When she punches people, she can force more power into the punch than normal. This works with bats and other objects as well. The force that she pushes into her target through the hit is expanded tenfold. Her punch can become as powerful as if someone was hit with a baseball in max velocity.
Under usual circumstances, Michelle can kick down a door with ease, stop cars with a punch and with a little effort even kick them aside. The problem with her power is that her body has to be able to take the initial impact between her and the object. The one time Michelle tried to stop a car with a punch resulted in more than a few broken fingers. Her whole arm was dislocated, broken in multiple places and even partially crushed together.

Bio:
Michelle lived in a happy little family in a small town in Quebec, Canada. Her teenage years were calm and comforting and many of her friends were fond of her. Her powers did not develop until her senior years in high school. She wanted to safe a person that walked across a street and a speeding driver was not paying attention. She dashed forward, hugged the co-student and tried to punch the car away. The car stopped, most of the engine block was squashed in and her arm was just as demolished.
It took her the rest of the year to heal off the arm and then another year to finish high school, because of missing classes and the inability to properly write with a crushed arm. In the end, though, she got her graduation done. She had spend another year working a small-time job in a restaurant and saved some money for College, at which point she was actually asked to join the Grinder. She did not realize until then that her ability was an actual mutation, but accepted the offer nevertheless.
So I suppose this is quiet now? Man D:
Posting the Staff of the Mutant College of Liberty and Equality here later...

Jada's in. If I get a short description why Luke joined the Grinder or how come he is already 25 (which is a little old for a freshman, right?) when joining, then he's in as well.

Okay, then we have Leopold. I have to think about it whether I accept him as a professor. Of course, it would be nice to have one or two staff characters, though I am not sure how much he'd be fitting into the whole "we start off getting to know one another and then throw them into the plot" kind of idea I was having. Normally a professor does not hang around with his students all that much, from my own experience :D
