Bio

A 25-year-old nerd(?), male, from Germany. In-between jobs. Likes to play games and Pen and Paper (Tabletop RPG) Campaigns. Self-proclaimed author of a Lore/Setting, Master of Morgana in Mid Lane since Season 3 (NA server until recently, switched over to EUW for better Ping and playing with friends) and gamer extraordinaire. Soldier at heart, lover in mind. Dabbler of Arcana Seraph and master of demonology. Whether those things are true or not shall be held in the viewer's eye.

My interests are in settings up and about Vampire: The Masquerade (or anything non-Twilight related vampires -- I have not watched any vampire series like True Blood or Vampire Diaries), game settings of Dark Souls and fantasy settings such as Elder Scrolls or Dragon Age, and TV series such as Lucifer, just to name a few. Always open for conversation.

Looks like the Headnurse has a person to help out xD

BTW, if no one noticed, I try and post all staff members in the very first char-post of the character tab. Maybe to get a little sense as to who you might be dealing with :D
I leave it to you guys to develop IC. I won't let you deal too much with the courses in general, because of the large number of people we have here. I will probably switch the time to the Thursday course and weekends most of the time, where most of the fun stuff happens :D
Should have kept the roommate system and such in mind :/

Well, I suppose you received your room number, but from experience most students stay at home until the opening ceremony, where they move into their new home then. I am not all too picky who has a room with who (well, dorms are still assigned by gender, so that would be a point). Maybe you guys have a tendency for a roommate already. Those that won't have a roommate I'll toss up some random NPC mutants in.

As for the courses, since this is a college, you have enrolled for a particular field of knowledge. That means those that have for instance computer science will attend a lot of computer classes and maths. The only thing that all students have to attend is a power training on Thursdays, which is pretty much a sports course. Posting those teachers later as well.
Well, here we go with the first IC post. I leave you off to mingle and chat. I'll post more when I had some sleep.
"Welcome, dear freshmen of our lovely college. Welcome to the Mutant College of Liberty and Equality." The voice of the Headmaster barked across the large hall. Interesting enough, there were no microphones near him and yet he did not seem to yell or put too much effort in speaking in such a volume. Of course those that had a chance to talk to students before getting to campus know that Mister Maikel, Headmaster of the College, was a mutant. A mutant like any other person in the college.

The Headmaster introduced the staff that was present in the large auditorium hall. Many faces to remember, many different smiles. Most will become teachers for the freshmen. Some might not show up in the time of study at all, for they were responsible for the paperwork or medical attention. While the introduction speech was short and quickly done with, many freshmen remained in their seats, talking to their neighbors and already making acquaintances. While the Headmaster was quickly off, the Vice Headmaster, Victoria Veltheim, stood with another member of the staff and chatted.

It was not too fast after the Headmaster left that some students entered the auditorium. Amongst them stood out a blue-haired girl with a baseball bat, grinning from ear to ear. "Welcome to the Grinder, kids!", she yelled into the room, throwing a ball into the air and hitting it with the bat. With a banging sound, the ball rushed off into the ceiling area and after a few bounces made its decent back to the ground. The girl stood amongst the students, laughing a little.

To her misfortune, the Vice Headmistress was on her way to the group. A few students already dashed off, the mutterings of "Shit, Vicious is here" or "Get out, V comes over" slithering between the rushing bodies. The blue-haired punk remained on her spot, still grinning and her bat casually resting on her shoulder. "Miss Jameson", Miss Veltheim spoke, which washed off the punk's grin off her face. "May I remind you that we have warned you multiple times to not abuse your powers inside the building?" The girl shook her head, to which Victoria had to chuckle. The other girl joined in for a short moment, hesitant.

"You should go to your room and think about your misdeeds. Maybe put on some clean clothes as well", the Headmistress continued, to which the punk responded with a nod. The girl turned by the twist of her heels on the ground and dashed off immediately.

One of the freshmen laughed. "So easy to stop Jackhammer", he muttered, but his voice was quickly swallowed in the returning noise of people talking...

Welcome to the Grinder, kids.
Accepted Character by DaDrummer676 (left):

Name: Jamie "James' Wolfe

Alias: Surge

Age: 18

Gender: Male

((Sexuality: Heterosexual))

Appearance: James is 6'1" and has brown hair and golden eyes as a side effect of his mutation. He has an athletic build, but isn't overly muscular in the slightest. James' ears are pierced and he has full sleeves of tattoos on both of his arms.

Powers: James' mutation allows him to manipulate kinetic energy which is the energy possessed by any moving object. James can use this ability to absorb any kinetic energy that comes into contact with him. He can use this energy to boost his speed, enhance his strength, etc. He can also charge objects with kinetic energy to attack. For example, he could take a baseball, and charge it with kinetic energy and throw it at high speeds because of the energy inside it. He can also use stored kinetic energy to enhance his physical blows by charging his body with kinetic energy. James' main weakness is energy attacks, as they hold no kinetic energy.

Bio: James' mutation surfaced on the day of his 16th birthday party. He was hosting a huge and wild party at his house because his parents were out on a business trip and had to miss his birthday. Everything started off okay, people were drinking, dancing, havin fun, and so on. James was busying himself with flirting with the new girl at school, when it happened. James was about to go in for a kiss when her eyes widened and she stepped back. James had given her a questioning look but she kept backing away from him. With her finger outstretched towards him, he slowly gained some attention. Finally he asked what the hell was wrong with them, then his best friend at the time handed him a mirror. The whole party went silent as James saw his eyes were now a glowing golden color.

Before James could do anything, everyone literally left. The words "freak" "mutant" and "weirdo" hung in the air.

James went to school wearing sunglasses the next day, but his mutation was already known throughout the school.

James was expelled from his high school the last month of his senior year. A few of the bullies had gotten together and decided they were fed up with having a mutant in their school. They jumped Jamie in the back of the school at the end of the day. James covered his head in desperation, but realized their blows did nothing to him. He also realized that he felt strong, really strong. James only had to punch the three boys once, each punch sent the bullies skidding across the ground.

James was given two options in his court trial. Either he would go to jail, or to the Mutant College of Liberty and Equality. The judge was a mutant and had taken pity on James, knowing that the boy had not meant to send the boys to the hospital. James was lucky he was smart and met the academic requirements for the College, or off to prison he would have went.
Looks good. As for Jamie's powers, there might be some problems if he is storing too much energy, in form of spontaneous outbursts of energy. Just leaving this in the air for a while. With that in mind, he's in.

For some reason I imagine your Avatar as you looking at the CS's right now. Swaying side to side while reading them.

I might have a slight sway to my stature at the moment, but my head is clear and I am not flipping the bird at my computer, that ends with my computer hating me and we would not talk to each other for a week... That is very counter-productive.

Accepted Character by HHShetland:

Name: Sumat Ibras Akkarmoon Sajak (ਸ਼ਉਮਤ ਇਬ੍ਰਸ ਅਕ੍ਕਰ੍ਮੂਨ ਸਜਕ)
Alias: Raja Naga
Age: 28
Gender: Male

Sumat is one of the unfortunate (or fortunate, depending on who you ask) mutants who possesses a very obvious physical difference from a normal human. Broadly speaking, his mutation makes him resemble a muscular, seven-to-eight-foot-tall four-armed Snake-Human hybrid, as shown below:

The clothes he is wearing in the above image is his combat attire; he usually just wears a pair of cargo trousers (with a hole for his tail, of course). He can't wear proper shoes, and even if he could, he would never cover his toes (see below for why). He also tends to forgo shirts a lot of the time, because... well, he has four arms. He sometimes wears tank tops, though.

PS: I drew that picture myself, so you'll have to use your imagination to make up for the errors.

Powers:
Enhanced Strength: This may sound straightforward, but it is important to note that most of his extra strength is granted by his extra arms. If he purposely restricted himself to just one pair of arms, his strength would be on par with a non-superpowered champion weightlifter. So while he could pick up a car, for instance, it'd take some actual effort; he can't do silly things like rip fire hydrants out of the ground effortlessly, or fling about trucks willy-nilly. It should also be noted that his extra arms require a lot more energy than the average person, which means his craving for food is greater than most people's.
Enhanced Dexterity: This is more of a Required Secondary Power that enables him to multitask with his extra arms without tangling them up.
Snakelike Senses: As a result of his Snake DNA, he perceives the world in a similar manner as a Snake. He has a keen sense of smell, provided by his tongue, and can detect even slight vibrations on the ground and in the air with his sensitive toes (which is why he hardly ever covers them). He also possesses an organ hidden beside each nostril that enables him to 'see' heat, in the form of infrared radiation; including the body heat of warm-blooded creatures. Objects hotter than room/ambient temperature appear to him in sharper focus and leave a distinct, trailing outline which glows in the dark; the effect becoming more pronounced the hotter something is. If blinded, he could still navigate using his heat and vibration senses. As a drawback to all of this, his normal eyesight is rather poor; even with glasses on, he'd have trouble reading a presentation on the other end of a ten-row-long lecture hall.
Venom: It may take some work to bite a resisting target, but contained within his mouth are retractable fangs which contain a potent neurotoxin. It takes a particularly extended dose to kill somebody quickly, but even smaller doses may lead to severe brain damage, including epilepsy or dementia. Sumat prefers not to use his venom unless his life depends on it.
Skin Regeneration (AKA Moulting): Not so much a power as it is a necessary evil, Sumat occasionally has to shed his skin. He tends to get noticeably more irritable when this happens.

Bio: Born on the Indian side of Punjab to an impoverished and illiterate family, Sumat's mutations lead a few of the devout locals, including his own parents, to consider him a real-life Naga, and a potential avatar of one of the Gods of Hinduism. His arrival caused considerable uproar amongst the locals; as Naga are considered nature spirits capable of bringing both fertility and natural disaster, many were considering dropping him off outside the city limits to avoid the risk of a disaster, while others were keen on keeping him around. The debate was ended for them once news of Sumat's birth spread beyond the slums of Ludhiana and he appeared on Indian national TV. Sumat's family began to hide him away, but he was eventually discovered by a man who owned a popular Circus. The man offered Sumat's family over five million Rupees to buy off the now-five-year-old Mutant as a sideshow attraction. Despite his mother's objections, his father found the offer too tempting and accepted.

The living conditions at the circus were barely better than the slums, and his 'owners' demanded that he exercise frequently so he could perform crowd-pleasing feats of strength. Luckily for him, he was bought off again three years later, this time by a wealthy British-Indian Philanthropist who sought to raise him as a normal person. He moved to the UK with his new adopted father, who set about giving him a proper education, but was also forced to keep him largely isolated from the public, for they, too, would no doubt turn him into a sideshow again.

Ultimately, Sumat learnt most of the basics, including learning to write and speak English fluently (and with an impeccable accent, too). But his experiences back home had lead him to believe that he could only really achieve success as a sideshow attraction, and that 'mutant equality' was a PC lie. Thus, he moved to the United States... and became a Pro Wrestler, under the monstrous, boastful persona of 'The Raja Naga'. He had always kept up his exercise regimen since he left the Circus, so raw strength was in no short supply for him.

Despite, naturally, being the new 'Monster' on the scene and always being set up as the villain to destroy all who cross him but eventually be taken down by the hero, Sumat never really cared, as it was a living and that was all that mattered. As time wore on, however, he came to believe that maybe his adopted father had a point, that he was wasting his teachings, and that he was destined for greater things. So, as soon as the latest championship was over, he retired from Wrestling and appealed to the Grinder to enrol as a mature student, determined to act on his epiphany.
