Elder Scrolls Online RPing

So Early Access will start within the next 24-or-so hours. I am totally hyped for this :3

Unfortunately, it appears that the majority of responses over here are doing an Aldmeri Dominion character. Sorry, but this is unacceptable for me. There is no superior race, only a race that is dumber on social terms than others, and the Aldmeri never had any great social qualities. Heck, even in Morrowind they were scum. The first time I met an Aldmeri in Morrowind was going like "Be gone, vile spawn!". This has not changed once within the Elder Scrolls series, unless you were playing Aldmeri yourself, but even then, the NPCs were like "Nice magic, but I can do WAY better." Just hate those pompous bastards.

Sorry, but I keep venturing inside the Ebonheart or check out the Daggerfall regions. I might post my character names over here, once I have gotten back into the game.

Elder Scrolls Online RPing

Steps Loudly sounds familiar... Have we met in a beta session? I was either an Argonian warrior called "Zisc'Al Kirr" or a female Dark Elf healer called Larquedia.

I am aware that RPing on a MMO is troublesome at times, mostly because of the swarms of ERP that I heard from. Goldshire was not renamed into P***shire for no reason >_>

Of course, if all works out like I think it will, then RPing on eso will be quite entertaining. I will keep doing the healer class or attempt to get a real tank running this time. Either way, I will enjoy my time on eso.

Elder Scrolls Online RPing

Heya RPGuild,

From what I have heard, the Megaserver from the Elder Scrolls Online would support roleplaying. Based on the experience from the Beta sessions, this would mean that people that tagged their settings as 'roleplay' would be placed together in the same areas.

So just out of curiosity, I am asking here whether there are people that have TESO AND would roleplay within it.

[Adult] Looking for 1x1 RPs [Always open]

Hello RPGuild, fellow RPers and aspiring journeymen and women of the worlds beyond imagination.

This will be an ongoing thread about my current interests and ideas for 1x1 RPs. To start off, I will say some stuff about myself, what lores and games I prefer and what I expect from the people that wish to RP with me.

Introducing myself is to show the world what kind of person I am. I am currently 23, male and I study at a University. My hobbies are introvert. I like playing video games (a lot), I read the occasional books and of course I keep myself on this very site. I keep myself on a very beginner level of drumming, mostly due to the small motivation I have to drum all by myself.
As a character, I would describe myself as impulsive. Laziness can appear from time to time, though this happens to my personal life and anything outside my computerized life.
In roleplaying, I prefer to play female characters, but do not refrain to play male characters as well. I am not hesitating in adding characters to the story and try to keep a consistent flow in posting. I'll try my best to express everything in a well suited grammar and all the fancy things around it, but since English is not my native language, irregularities might appear from time to time.
As my roleplaying level, I have to say that I am currently unaware whether my posts can be considered "high casual" or "beginner's advanced". I can and will write at least a paragraph, which can stretch into more depending on the setting that is provided. The more I write, the greater the quality of the situation is.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Metro2033
The Elder Scrolls
Dragon Age
Legend of Zelda
Thief Games (I like "both" styles, but the 2014 game lacks the mystery from the previous games, at least until how far I have played)
Mass Effect
Mythology in general is drawing a lot of interest from me, especially dragons, demons and angels. Also, vampires and werewolves, though I like vampires more. Of course I am talking about "real" vampires, so none that sparkle in sunlight (you should know what I am getting at).

As for those that wish to RP with me, I have a few things that I want to say ahead. Graphic content will take part in RPs with me. Whether this is violence, sex or simply horrific beasts, I am not sure. Something will show up sooner or later. Consider it a 18+ RP. If you are willing to RP with me, then be aware that I might be a little clingy when it comes to posting. I like to keep the RP flowing. Frequent posting is a must option. If you can post semi-daily, I am perfectly fine. I am aware that people have a real life and in it, complications and hard times can occur. Keep me updated if problems happen so I won't bother you with stupid questions from my end.
Apart from that, I would like to RP with people on the same "posting level" as I am. This means a paragraph is a necessity. Short posts are allowed, but should not be used excessively. Quality over quantity. Grammar and punctuation reaching an understandable level is wished.

Well, that's about it. I prefer PM RPing, so that will be the base of our posts. Interest can be stated here or via PM.

"We will see him again. I feel it in my bones", Emilia responded to Shirley. This man was a protector, a guardian. He would probably show up sooner or later when another troublesome event was happening. Perhaps they would meet him in battle against a beast such as the Gryphon... Slowly following the path further downward the cliffside, Emilia soon would feel more comfortable to walk on soil, without the danger of falling lingering at each muscle. The path was wide, but the ground was still further away than the body could handle when stumbling down.

Though it felt safer to have more company, the Firekeeper was unsure what to expect from the two newcomers. Her gaze wandered to Nita, who appeared to be the one that guided the priestess. "What brings you to these lands, Nita? Is it truly the act of redemption that you seek here?" These words clung to her mind, even after she spoke them. Of course not many have delved into the land of the infamous Valkyries. Only legends and rumors have spoken of the men and women that could fly into battle with wings that they had grown themselves. Perhaps these travelers were seeking the secret of this power.

The night grew cold, as a fresh breeze ran through Death City. Like in any other town, only the flickering sounds of the street lamps were warping through the streets, whilst the people were resting or staying inside. Such unpleasant times were always drawing the most interesting people to the dark. A slithering figure dashed quietly through the alleys. Faintly, one could see a shadow move, but none would realize it as a person, yet alone a man that had fallen down the path of the Kishin. Souls were his feast.

Inside his head, his mind was swarmed with hunger and an odd sound that drove him mad. The distorted notes of an ill crafted violin. Crooked, this music drove the beast further through the streets. "Eat, prey, consume. The strength of a thousand shall belong to you." The voice was as clear as day to the man, yet no one else could listen to it. It was all inside his head. The man dashed into a corner, where his fang were digging into flesh. As expected, there was an helpless woman waiting. It happened too fast for the woman to even realize that she was killed, her body turning into a glimmer, then into a tiny orb. The beast swallowed the soul whole and sighed. It was fed for the night. Before anyone would have noticed the sudden influx of power resonating from the beast, it disappeared into thin air.

In a different part of the world, the voice echoed even stronger. A Tikoloshe just swallowed another innocent soul whole, whilst hearing the same sounds as the beast on the other side of the globe. A distorted violin and the voice of a woman speaking solely to him. "Eat, prey, consume..." Not too far away from the Tikoloshe's lair, there was the person responsible for both incidents. Her dress was flamboyant with finest fabric. Spread across the cloth, bows and ribbons flowed in the wind. Each ribbon strung a note from the witch's violin.

The Tikoloshe stirred. The powers that were fed to him via the sound came from a strong being. Something with a powerful soul. Before the pre-Kishin could have sensed the source, the Witch stopped playing the music. It was all part of the plan. The Witch would soon show the world what she had in mind. Kishins were not the most fearsome beings. Witches were. And they need power. Chuckling, the Soul Protect of the Witch formed the dress into a casual clothing, leaving the witch in her form she preferred for the latest decades.

Well, quite honestly, I was just trying to introduce the characters I was going to use within the RP to keep myself on the go as well. Since many of you have chosen assignments or were in partner-to-partner conversation, I have not taken steps towards you as of yet. Then we have some lost lambs that I would see back soon, or in other words some posts I would like to see.

If you want to watch the new teacher at his best, then challenge him or look for him. My next post will add some more background to each assignment you chose, as in some 'meanwhile at...' paragraphs. If you guys are ready, I will probably switch over to the actual assignments.

The assignments drew all students together to the black board. There was a lot of sighing and discontent, since most assignments were taken or rather stale. The interesting part about the black board was the apparent invisible assignment for all the students. There were rarely any people that laid eyes on the group assignment. Jackie watched the students with a bright smile, despite the fact that she was not feeling all that glad.

Then the mirror behind her suddenly chimed. "Goldman-chan. I have a task for you", Vater spoke through the mirror, in the same way that Shinigami used to. The teacher looked at the mirror and struck a pose. "Whatever you say, boss."

In front of the school, another face appeared. A man, scruffy hair and fairly badly clothed. He smiled brightly, putting down his backpack. He was finally at Shibusen. His teaching career would start anytime soon. "Let the resonate training begin", he muttered to himself, as he began wandering towards the entrance, humming a children's rhyme.

By the evening, the rumors were spread that a teacher came to Shibusen that would teach any group of students that were able to beat him, while he was fighting with just a toothpick. Some say he is probably the best Meister now inside of the school next to Vater and his powers are similar to the infamous Fraken Stein. Others also add that the lessons he were offering would be basically the successful crash course version of Jackie Goldman's studies, starting off with a fast way to learn how to use Soul Resonance.
