@Meta... do we, right now, have a scientific explanation of spirits? The first part, where he engulfs someone's spirit with darkness to also disable their body is just that, power over the spirit realm.
Now when he comes to the physical plane, he can summon energies from the spirit realm to the physical one, energies which imitate a black hole but only working on energy and not affecting physical matter.
I think they were asking more for how his interactions with the spirit world manifest themselves as scientific reactions in the physical world. so to say that he block someone's sight by engulfing them with darkness spiritually, in the physical world it could manifest that effect as an inability to pass on optical signals to the brain or for it to be unable to send signals out in a way that is really hard to circumvent.
Also could someone please explain to him about philotes or whatever it is that we use as an explanation for some near to completely impossible stuff?

I just got told that all my paperwork for getting out of the navy jas to be done by NEXT friday. Meaning i have to move all my shit, find a new job, find a place to stay and find a way to get around IN ONE &@&#$#G WEEK!!!!!

Automation of anything comes at some kind of cost, whether it be energy, money, or safety.
