What do you mean?

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Thank you!

The atmosphere over by Shinji feels a bit tense so I was wondering if something might have happened.

If you'd like, I can try and generate an arrangement for the metal such that the only connection points with the electricity will disperse it. Though, why can't you simply separate the electric and metal parts?

That would be nice, but I think that would only work as a temporary solution until I use it in battle and accidentally shift it back to its original state. As for why, I'm using the metal as the core of the staff since it can separate most elements and I can regenerate it by combining the fire and earth elements. If I wanted to separate the metal and electric sub-elements, I'd have to use something else as the core for the staff which would need to be able to take a lot of stress. Since I only have the basic primary elements available, my only other option would be to make the core with the earth element, which would make my staff too heavy to use and I would risk destabilization when trying to make more of the metal sub element.

Good to hear.

Yea.
By the way do you know what's going on?
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

Are you able to arrange it in a way that makes it non-conductive.

*Shrugs* I could, but that would require knowing how to adjust the ratio of the different metals in an alloy, and I don't have the time to go learn metallurgy. So hopefully I'll run into and/or find someone with the skill necessary at some point. That said, I think I'l be able to make do with what I have.

<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

Have you tried non-conductive metals?

I would, but due to the fact that the sub element in its natural state is like a highly refined alloy of most if not all existing metals, making it take the form of a specific metal weakens its structure, making it likely to lose its ability to store and separate other elements.

Nix! What a surprise. I do believe I haven't seen you in... at least one month. Possibly more. My memory is not exceptional.

Hey Spectre. It's been more then a few months for me, but that's probably due to the different time flows between dimensions. Either way it's still been a while. How you doing?
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

That sounds very useful. How is that going?

Pretty well. *Summons my main multi element staff to my hand so I can explain it better. It looks to be made up of multiple elements along its entire length.*
So far I've gotten the basic elements to combine in a way that keeps the opposites from canceling each other out, but non-elements and sub elements are still a bit of a problem. The only sub element I've been able to add so far is metal, and because of that I can't add an electric element without it zapping me, since I haven't figured out a way to extend the containment ward for the electricity to non-organic things.

Oh, I've just been doing some gardening and helping design some arboretums. And yourself?

That sounds like a relaxing way to pass the time. I've been training while trying to upgrade my staff, since having separate ones for each element would get kinda ridiculous at some point.
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

I'm well; how are you?

<Snipped quote by souleaterfan320>

You can believe that it's true, because it is.

I'm doing good.
What have you been up to?
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>

Hello!

Oh, Hey PD!
