Current I liked your status because I like the concept, but I'm on a hiatus from writing right now, so I can't do much else.

I mean, just because somebody's a dick doesn't mean you get to gang up on them in the status bar.

If you think you need a break, take a break. If you don't find joy in a hobby that once brought you it, then you need to rest and take some time away from that hobby so you can recharge your "creative energy". I find that when I'm in this state, if I preoccupy myself with other things like videogames, it makes writing all the more enjoyable once I pick it up again.

However, seeking answers then refusing perfectly valid (and constructive) criticism is incredibly stubborn and helps nobody.

To the right of Skulduggery - “There's no such thing as winning or losing. There is won and there is lost, there is victory and defeat. There are absolutes. Everything in between is still left to fight for.

Other:
Since it's kind of boring as-is (black background, grayscale image), maybe some fire could be coming from the text? Around the edges, underneath, I don't mind, really. It's just Skulduggery's signature power, so it'd be cool to have it.

Thank you! And unless you guys have a display of the new Skulduggery Pleasant book, I'll be sure to keep my hands to myself.
A Life Is Strange-style magical thriller with an ambiguous genre? Say no more :P
Hi! I stumbled across this site after a friend of mine told me about forum roleplay. I'm usually more used to writing my own little short stories (though I'm too embarassed to ever share them; no idea why), and more recently started dabbling in the confusing world of Dungeons & Dragons. However, after a quick browse of the site, it appears that forum roleplaying is just like writing a story with others, which is a-okay with me.

Anywho - what to say? I'm a huge fan of Skulduggery Pleasant (if you couldn't tell from my username, "custom title" and profile picture xP), Maximum Ride (James Patterson for life!!!) and various other Young Adult novels. The stories I write are often science fiction with a blend of fantasy, which is weird, I know, but it's better than the full fantasy horror I tried writing once. Moving on, I'm really open to pretty much any genre that isn't anime or romance, since I have zero experience with either of the two (relatable am I right). I don't really know what kind of skill level I might be??? I guess I'm a casual writer, but I enjoy writing lots of descriptive paragraphs, so you tell me.

I look forward to the days to come and can't wait to meet you all!
