Used to be a member here back in the old forms. joined a number of RPs but times and things have changed. Now it's all a matter of adapting to the new crowd... and seeing if sink or swim.

The treck was long and hard, and to be honest Johnny felt rather bad about slowing the group down so much. But at least they stuck together. when they got to the decrepit buildings Johnny would have facepalmed at the guy who went in first and broadcasted their presence... if he could still manage it anyway, which he couldn't, not being helped along anyway. Sure the stimpack helped, ohhh did it ever help, but well, it was A stimpack. As the group moved inside and Osaki found the couch Johnny hobbled over to it and flopped back on it with a groan. the rusty springs in it creaking and groaning in protest. As he took a load off and his legs stopped screaming at him and started throbbing instead Johnny was allotted a few moments of clarity. setting his tool kit beside him as well as the large wrench that was practically as long as his arm, Johnny opened up the kit and did a bit of inventory, making sure his pipboy was cataloging everything he had.

"when you guys are out scavenging or looking around, try and bring back what you find. tin cans, toy cars, glue... Hell i'd give one of my nuka cola's for a leg brace and a crutch at the moment." With that all said and done the ringing came back with a vengance causing Johnny's eyes to go a bit wide and his head to tilt to the side, moth going agape for a few moments. when that passed he'd shake his head a bit, little high pitched whining groaned escaping his mouth as he tried to control his breathing.
sure
like i said earlier, they're just titles. Furiousa was like max, she was a fury rider unlike her "sisters" which were breeders. she showed tallent and ability beyond most others. but yes, girls can be war boys.
first film for mad max may set max up but it does little to show how crazy the world gets. Its why when people ask me about the mad max series i generaly say you can skip the fist movie as heretical as that sounds.

As for the fallout stuff, all those nuclear powered vehicles are in the world as is the energy weapons, power armor, robots, ect.

As for rolls, hmmm

Glass boy: generaly a non combat roll. the scientest, medic, and schollar of a group. the one who can use old technology found in old bunkers, ruins, and elsewhere.

black finger: another general noncombat roll though that doesn't mean they dont see combat. Black fingers are of course in charge of maintaining, repairing, and building vehicles. black fingers will ride along with gear heads and fury riders to do repairs on the go. example, your car catches fire because someone threw a firebomb at it, black finger crawls up to extinguish the fire.

War Boy: your main combatants. they live for the fight. think future vikings of the post apocalypse. melee combat, ranged combat, unconventional combat, it's what they do best. driving? not so much.

Gear Head: these are the drivers. the wasteland is too vast and too dangerous to simply travel by foot for the most part. this is where the gear heads come in. they drive vehicles to and fro. this isn't strictly a combat class but they do see combat as raiders decide to come and give them a bad day as they drive across the wastes. they get the war boys where they need to go and they generally aren't very good in a fight outside of their vehicle.

Fury Rider: a combination of war boy and gear head. just as adept on foot as they are behind the wheel. Fury riders are rare for the most part.

you won't always be in your vehicle. inside ruins many times the vehicle won't fit and you'll have to get out to go dungeon delving.
yup
no worries. take your time. and i'm not against the idea of a gunblade. this is the post apocalypse. if someone wanted one, they could make one. but that design? yeah that's straight out of fantasy.
From what i can see it looks fine for the most part. it's not without it's flaws but then again nothing this day and age is.

the problems i see is you have two 9mms and a gunblade (total of 3 weapons for a roll that's focus isn't combat). Now having studied these in college (yes, odd little history articles are available on their design and functionality once you get past the basic stuff) there's a few problems i find with the one you're using. First and foremost, unless it's designed to fire off it's round while the blade is inside the target, firing it any other way with a round larger than a 9mm (even that's pushing it a bit) will cause pretty unfortunate issues for the user due to it's handle. arching your wrist down with that much weight at the end of it and then having the recoil jolt your wrist like that, not gonna be a pleasant experience. another issue with it is there is no clear trigger however the "barrel"is oddly somewhat visible. now at that angle it's difficult to determine the size of the round coming out of that thing but it doesn't look like a .45 would be that out of the question. That's not a good thing. bigger round, bigger kick. Fatal flaw however of the weapon you have there is it's blade of all things. It has no tang to it. meaning it's simply just screwed in, tac welded, or clamped in place with a series of pins. Short of what could potentially be a long description of why that's a bad idea for this setup anyway is lot of vibrations or sudden impacts will likely cause the blade itself to come out, turning the thing into a very awkward pistol with possibly the worst design for recoil management out there.

now don't get me wrong. Gunblades were actually surprisingly effective! the things that held them back is increased weight, most of them were single shot , they could be very high maintenance, were extremely technical, and for the price of one gunblade one could normally afford around 4 or 5 pistols. the more effective gunblade designs were essentially a pistol with an integrated elongated bayonet with a bit of extra reinforcement and a slanted grip. the straight up and down grip doesn't really do it when it comes to fine control or for that matter control at all with a long object with a bit of weight at one end that's also meant to fire bullets.
Well, Go ahead and list out the pros and cons you see if each roll, maybe that will help you decide.
I'm still here. been waiting for people to post. could post again but double posting i've found has always been a bit of a no no.
Groovy. And hey if you guys have questions, please feel free to ask!
