Major WIP, but putting it here while I finish it up.

C A P T A I N A M E R I C A
Steven Rogers, 25 (b. 1920)
Agent of SHIELD based Internationally
Active since approximately Winter 1941

Basically, I want to play a Steve Rogers who wakes up just in time to find that his old enemies in the form of HYDRA have resurfaced as well. I'd like to get him involved in the newly formed SHIELD and explore how he interacts and adapts to the changes of the 20-plus years since he went on ice. I want to really look at how his experiences would effect him without losing the overall optimism, courage and commitment to a set of values that make the character great, especially in the interesting mix of cynicism and hope that was the late 60's. Of course I also want to use the international threat of HYDRA to hopefully have interactions that span the breadth of the RP and really help in a collaborative world-building process.

Basically I want to take the goofy, cheery idealized cartoon themesong version of Captain America shown below and explore the realities experienced by Steve during the era the show was created while keeping him true to himself.

That's what I'm doing for Captain America's sheet, at least.

Interest, provided I can figure out who to play.
Khan vs Anaka, Heart of the Temple Room

Khan was really starting to feel the pressure of the battle now. Each of his attacks was neatly parried despite the effort he was putting into them. He saw Anaka's next attack before it began, a slice across his chest shown by her body's shifting stance as plain to him as if she'd said it out loud. His own saber came up to parry it as he shifted back, but both his arm and his feet were seconds too slow. She scored a burning gash across his chest, though he was able to pull back enough to make it a shallow burn rather than a cut into his vitals or a bisecting blow.

Khan had to fight through the shock and the sudden pain spreading out from the wound as he attempted a shallow counter-thrust, but it was knocked aside without forcing her to give any ground. The sudden change in the flow of battle didn't make any sense to Khan. The Padawan had judged himself to be a near-match for the Sith in terms of speed and skill. He'd spent his entire life learning his own capabilities in combat and reading others, he knew he should've been fast enough to neutralize that attack. There was more to it than that. The Sith was radiating a sense of devious smugness, a sort of exultation at some secret.

Khan could feel his movements in his past attacks as slightly off, but why? Could Anaka somehow be using the Force to hamper his movements? Well, two could play at that game. Khan started making small flicks with his free hand, keeping his blade up and ready to parry any attacks. He reached out and started flinging numerous small rocks and bits of debris at his opponent. Precisely controlling smaller things was something of a specialty for the Padawan, so flinging the smaller rocks around was easy enough. But pelting Anaka with stones was only a secondary tactic. The real aim was to shift pieces of the rubble around them, making footwork more difficult for the Sith. Whether the pelting hurt or distracted her or not, once he felt like he'd created more favorable ground, he tried to press the attack again, shifting forward with as much Force Speed as he could and crouching low to make quick, short strikes at her legs.

Tenchi had to check to make sure he wasn't daydreaming or hallucinating. Was that...really a giant teddy bear attacking the festival?

It...definitely seemed to be a giant teddy bear, not that he would've believed that something so plush and cuddly could wreak havoc on the district before seeing it with his very eyes.

Tenchi looked down at Hoshiko and August, not yet on the roof, though he was pretty sure the giant toy animal wasn't very hard to spot.

"I'll stay put until you guys get up here. You're gonna want to see this before we go, anyways."

Well, so much for just eating snackfood and watching the festival.

Tenchi nodded "Yeah, that seems like the easiest solution. That way all of us can get up there. In fact, I'll go ahead!"

Tenchi tensed up and gathered his strength, then made the leap all the way to the roof, still carrying the takoyaki containers in his arms. Once he landed, he had to admit that he had a pretty nice view from up here. It'd definitely be a great way to watch the festival. He plopped down to wait for the others to climb up, sitting back to watch things from above.
I know Rin was still interested last I checked.
Khan Sainen Vs Anaka

Khan was hardly shocked when his first strike to the head was blocked, in fact he was expecting it to happen. It wouldn't be much of a fight if his opponent had died because of his opening blow after all. He managed to get some satisfaction out of the surprise evident in his opponent's stance and on her face, though, even if it was quickly covered back up by the same arrogant cruelty. It might be that she hadn't been expecting such a swift and competent opening strike, or else maybe she thought he'd be afraid. When she shoved his blade aside, Khan moved his blade along with the motion, aiming to bring it back around to a guard position with a tight little circle of his wrist.

As she thrust in at him, he slipped into a Makashi stance of his own, facing her in profile and twisting his body a bit right as his blade finished coming back around to deflect her point out of the way, though both motions were slight enough that he could swear he felt ambient heat off of her saber. He grinned at her, trying to look confident but not cocky, despite finding such displays of emotion unseemly most of the time. It was good psychological warfare, after all.

"They may have been older than me, but I doubt they were better." Khan tried for a downward cut toward her fingers, moving almost along the line of the Sith's own lightsaber, but she stepped back out of the way just in time. He took a half step in and twisted his wrist up to try for an upward cut to her face, hopefully before wrapping around for a third light cut toward the top of her head. It was actually disconcerting for Khan to be fighting an opponent so similar to himself in height, and she might actually match him for speed which nullified one of his usual advantages. He was hoping a flowing sequence of attacks would at least keep her off balance and moving back, though he knew it wouldn't matter if he couldn't land a hit.

Tenchi gave the two of them a big grin as he took over holding the Takoyaki.

"Oh, sure thing August! I guess that way we can do two things at once." He seemed relieved that there was a way for all of them to enjoy the festival and help search for the girl and her parents at the same time, or perhaps it just inherently appealed to his easygoing nature to be able to work and relax at the same time.

"That building looks like a good spot. Ah! But how will Mori-San get up there?"
