Daxin could see the fear in his eyes and when he slid to the floor she was in shock. Why was this happening? Why couldnt he just simply state the obvious and get on with it?
"I tried to make it less embarrassing for you, I want you to be my mistress...my partner. But when I saw you blush i thought you where going to run away leaving me there by myself again." Those words made Daxin feel misunderstood. "I was happy at first," she breathed.
"Forgive me My Lady Daxin," he said kneel before her, "your guardian was out of line and it will never happen again" Daxin lifted a brow as he turned cold once more. She was about to reach out and grab him but he was to fast as he stomped out of the house. Why was this man so easily changed? His mood switched on and off so quickly. Daxin grumbled in the hallway until the maid showed up and spoke.
"What did you do now Daxin? or rather what did he do now? the only time i have seen him shake the earth was when he killed Aries ten years ago"
Daxin looked up at the woman and shook her head. "Did you hear what he said earlier at the party? How he switched from saying one thing and turned it into a business deal," Daxin kept her arms crossed as she slowly made her ay out of the hallway.
The woman noded quietly at Daxins question. She had heard. The master's words mus have hurt the poor girl. She had seen it in her eyes as she lit up like a christmas tree but when he ended his question it was a disaster. This was not right but there was nothing really to say besides. "Go after him miss," the maid spoke.
Daxin's eyes moved to the woman as she unraveled her arms. "I will fix this," Daxin breathed then rushed out of the house. Whe she got to the wall of trees she glanced about for him. How was she to find him with this mess?
"Ajax you numbskul of a man," she breathed/ "I was blushing out of happiness...but then you turned it around and I felt cheep like those girls that flocked to you," she grumbled.
