Alexei rolled his eyes; unimpressed, and irritated with the bastard's flashy entrance. Honestly though, the guy, Kaminari if Alexei's memory was right, was powerful. No doubt about it, Alexei knew that the guy was not to be underestimated. However, his snide and arrogant attitude really ticked off Alexei's buttons. Suddenly, the captain crumpled to the ground... laughing. Alexei gritted his teeth; if this guy wasn't their hope, he would have already fired hundreds of rounds into his skull.

The assassin tightened his grip on Melinda's hand; hoping to calm himself down before he would try to shut a bitch up. Alexei sighed as he tried to remember how to do manners in the first place... however, with a guy who was disrespecting them by laughing... Manners were not an option. Besides, this was the guy who rejected him; who rejected them.

"I see you're enjoying yourself. I think no one yet has died of laughter, but I sincerely hope you do." Alexei mumbled as he rolled his eyes. "I didn't know faggots could now run at the speed of light." the lad smirked, looking intently at the laughing captain. Deep inside, Alexei was sincerely hoping he choked on his own saliva, or better yet, he would choke on his own saliva, leaving him in a coma where Alexei could teach him a lesson before putting a bullet through his head.

"Nerdlord, I'll leave you to explain the situation to Sparkles." Alexei gritted his teeth; obviously not amused.
Alexei looked at Mild; his eyes opened in surprise. The lad's lips trembled in bitterness, but the same time, relief. The same pricks that rejected them, and this time, the same pricks that they needed. Alexei's mind was divided into two sides; one said hell no, and the other, hell yes. Alexei knew that if he was alone, he would die before accepting a phone call... but he had the guys... he had Teleporto, he had Hollow, he had Enki, he had Mild, and most importantly, he had Melinda. It was a matter of pride versus morality. If they made a phone call... those freaks at the Team Awesome would just laugh at them; saying that they couldn't handle a simple matter such as this... but if they didn't, their pride would be kept.

Unfortunately, Alexei knew that pride was not going to kill those worms. Alexei was willing to die for his pride, but he didn't any of this team to die as well. Alexei looked at his team, his eyes bitter, and desperate. The lad looked at Melinda, and suddenly, the answer came to him. He would be dead before seeing any of this team die.

"I can always find another dignity, or another profession... but I'll only have one Teleporto, one Hollow, one Enki, one Nerdlord, and most importantly, one Melinda." Alexei mumbled. "I know that we can't fight this alone; this trouble is beyond our level... but at the same time, we must be willing enough to accept help from others. However, Nerdlord, tell those pricks at Team Awesome, that we'll only accept cures or any support... taking Mimic's head is our job; Heath's job." Alexei nodded to Mild. "I vote that we make a phone call to Team Awesome. Any other votes?"

Quinn raised in brow in confusion. The girl merely shook her head. No? What did she mean? No, as in she didn't really understand him? No, as in she didn't really know who she was, or even No... she wasn't properly oriented. Quinn coughed as the arms retracted back into his body. "So, you weren't fully made aware of your powers. Well, in case you didn't know... you are the reincarnate of Nut... Egyptian goddess of the sky. You might have hobbies such as stargazing if I'm not mistaken." Quinn smiled. "Before this gets out of hand... allow me to straighten things out. We may be reincarnates, but we are not gods. We still age; we still... die. We are not above anyone else. Ms. Harrison, I do hope you won't make the same mistake as those kids. In this school, people can seriously be injured... Us professors can only do so much, the safety part is up to you, students." Quinn warned her; although in a calm tone. "When you discover your powers... Use them for preserving a life, not for injuring one." Quinn reminded her, nodding at the same time.

Quinn stood up, smiling at her. He had already read what he needed to do. These freshmen were easily influenced by their powers; they had a weak mental endurance... he needed to straighten things with them... Sooner or later, they would destroy themselves if proper guidance was not achieved. Quinn marched off to announce a very important notice via the speakers... If the principal will not move his ass, Quinn will have to move his own.

An announcement echoed across the speakers; Quinn's calm voice echoing through the areas in the school.

"Good afternoon, reincarnates. Due to the recent *cough* event that has happened in Avria, the administrator wishes to remind all students that powers can only be used within the school gym, provided that a proper authority is overseeing said power demonstration. Furthermore, for the students of Mr. Camoride's class, please be informed that classes for tomorrow will be held at the school gym. This change in venue is due to the Power Placement, which is a requirement of Powers 101. For the students of Mr. Price's Powers 101 class, feel free to attend Mr. Camoride's class for Power Placement.

If you wish to seek more information, or guidance, feel free to visit the faculty section, and look for your respective adviser. Thank you, and we hope you enjoy your stay in Avria High." Quinn ended the announcement; sighing in the process. Power Placement. Here, Quinn would finally try to set things right. Here, the students would be grouped according to their alignments and capabilities... It wasn't really a requirement, but for Quinn, it was a core instrument in his class.

"No man is an island... Those who think they can survive alone... will break and fall." he mumbled; packing his things, and heading to the cafeteria to grab a snack before he would head back to the faculty section.

Quinn looked in surprise as the girl was able to hear his mumbling, but then again, it was the library... quiet as the skies in there. Quinn looked around as he motioned for her to come closer.

"I'm sorry for calling you out so suddenly. I guess with the recent events you're already aware of what this school is offering to kids like you, right? I mean, who hasn't heard of the recent clash that happened outside?" Quinn shook his head; looking at the girl. "Well, of course being a reincarnate of Nut, you'd probably be off doing academic work or even stargazing." Quinn chuckled; his extra hands arranging the files in front of him.

"Tell me, where you properly oriented by your professor?" Quinn tilted his head; obviously curious.

Quinn stormed off from the principal's office; disgusted with the faculty's lack of regard for the children. While the reincarnates were busy zapping each other, those 'doctors' were in the office... lazing their butts off. Sometimes, Quinn would think that he was the only one who made sense in that faculty room. The professor marched off to the library; files in hand. If those professors wouldn't help him with dealing with the freshmen, then he would have to help himself. This school wasn't built just for informing those kids of their powers, of course not... Neither was it built just to train students how to fight... This school was built to educate, to motivate, and to inspire change. If Quinn wanted change within the school, both student and professor would have mutually accept each other as equals when it comes to abilities; no one must think that he or she is above the rest.

With these thoughts in mind, Quinn began pulling books from the shelves using his extra appendages. On the table were files of the freshmen, both his students and even those who aren't even his. Quinn was particularly interested on how to suppress madness caused by powers, overloads, reincarnates-gods connections, and the like. The professor's table was getting filled with books as he read one after another.

"A lack of guidance is usually the cause of a static connection with the god; causing the incarnate to grow mad with power." Quinn mumbled. "I've only been able to tap into Brahma's full power only once... and that must never happen again." Quinn shook his head as he set down the book; an extra hand getting some more from the shelves.

Suddenly, his eye caught a girl marching up the stairs of the library. She looked confuse, and lost. Was she also a freshman? Quinn used one of his extra hands, quickly surfing through a pile of papers.

"Dr. Macmillan's class. Kalo. Female. Reincarnate of Nut. Egyptian goddess of the sky. Similar roots to Dewitt, and that Osiris kid." Quinn mumbled to himself; eyeing the girl.
Alexei smiled as Melinda teased him, however, she still held his hand tightly. The lad felt something warm surging through his hands, and arms. It was a simple act, holding hands, but for some reason, it was more than that for Alexei. Did he grow mellow as the years went by? Of course not... He merely accepted that he was human as well. He needed these touches; the human interaction and touch. Alexei tightened his hand around hers as he knew that Melinda really calmed him down. Alexei turned to Teleporto; his voice in a calm tone.

"You comin', Heath? We can buy you some better equipment. Swords can't only be your weapon. I got a good friend near the market that sells good equipment." Alexei offered to Heath; trying to build a good relationship with the guy. "In fact, we can upgrade everyone here... of course, except Enki... I think he's more powerful than us." Alexei chuckled as he looked at Melinda.

"And as for you, after we're done with the shopping... I've got something to talk about." Alexei grinned as he lightly pecked her forehead. Alexei turned to the others; his smile beaming.

"Shall we go?"
"Chill your balls, Mild. We trust you, but as of the moment, you're on my neutral side. If Enki says otherwise, then it's all good. Sorry for being harsh, but I can't be nice during times like these. Sorry, Nerdlord." Alexei apologized; hoping that Mild would understand that he wasn't still convinced.

Alexei shook his head as he sighed deeply. Everything was messed up; messed up indeed. However, this was what Mimic wanted... for them to suffer and die slowly like this. If that serpent expected their team to fall apart; that slug was totally wrong. Their team was not going to fall; not on Alexei's watch.

"I know that I said that I hate you guys... but, at this moment, you're the only people I have left." Alexei tried to smile as he exhaled. "Don't lose hope. We'll get through this, and show those serpents that he chose the wrong superhero team to mess with."

Alexei strode over to his table; wearing again his vest and camouflage. He pulled out two briefcases from under the table as he opened them; revealing tons of dollars. "My job as an assassin was not pretty... but it paid well. We can use my money to find a cure." Alexei smiled at his team as he looked up. Was there any hope? With these guys at his side; there was.

"Anyone want to go on a little shopping spree?" Alexei smiled; trying to lift his team's spirits. "I'll need to buy some guns as well."

Quinn sighed; at least everything was calming down... In a flash, the cages vanished; retracting into his body. The teacher shook his head; disappointed with this batch. They were too eager for their abilities that they were easily overwhelmed with power. "The dark ones might return if this continues." Quinn said in a grim tone; obviously taking some of experience. "I can't punish them; I don't have to. They're punishing themselves already. What they need is someone to be with them during their dark times; during their punishment. They need a partner; they need each other." Quinn decided; knowing how difficult it was to undergo this process alone. Quinn went off to the faculty room; knowing what he had to do. He brought some files as he stormed off to the principal's office. He slammed down the files on the table as the look of exasperation was evident on his face.

"I've only been working in this school for 2 years, and never have I seen such naivety erupt in day one! I may not have a doctorate degree or whatnot, but I do know that our current syllabus now is incapable of handling this new batch. We need to hold a general assembly for all students so our good 'ol principal can knock some sense into them. You can't always rely on us, professors, to lecture them because what we teach is different from one another. Take into account Cameron and Underwood, Hades, and Zeus... I don't know what you taught Underwood, but I assure you, Cameron is a silent and good child... Underwood aggravated him... and I had to step in to intervene." Quinn said in an angry tone. This principal; just lazing in his air-conditioned office everyday.

"Hold a general assembly, principal. I love those kids, sir... I don't want them getting hurt. I don't want them getting hurt because of this school. Most importantly, I don't want them getting hurt because of me." Quinn sighed as he left the office in a hurry. At that time, he was so close to snapping. He was almost so close to unleashing the Death Embrace on them. It must never happen again.

Quinn shook his head; these kids were way too over their heads. They think that just because they were reincarnates... They were the embodiment of the gods themselves. "Sheer naivety." Quinn mumbled as he sighed deeply. "They don't pay me enough for this." Quinn rubbed his weary eyes. These kids took these things too seriously; they believed that just because they were reincarnates, they should live the lives of their gods. They were just essences... just excess magic that spilled too much. They were still mortals; they would age... they would still die. Cameron was easily tempted by such power; he really thinks that he's Hades. That prick. That Underwood as well was troublesome...

"Where is Price when I need him?" Quinn sighed as he stepped back; assessing the situation. If more people would join the clash; it would escalate. He had to stop it. Quinn shouted to those who could hear.

"DO NOT INTERFERE! I REPEAT DO NOT INTERFERE! EVERYONE GET OUT! Feeble powers like yours won't be of much use... These two nutcases think that they're gods!" Quinn ordered. "It's time for me to intervene with force." Quinn growled as a hundred arms erupted from Quinn's body. Their frail bodies can't handle such power; they'll be exhausted soon... He had to stop them from destroying the area. Suddenly, he saw one of the reincarnates throw a what seemed to be some siphoning coins. With an idea in mind, Quinn sent out his arms around the two duelists... Caging them in a secure cell of hands... Quinn activated his cytogenesis; repairing any damage that his arms would sustain. The coins were inside the cells as well. The hands divided the two; separating them into two different cage of hands. The hands had a purpose; to block any of their spells that were aimed at one another. "Hopefully those coins work..." Quinn muttered as he sent out more hands to secure the crazy bastards. Slowly, the hands were closing in; trying to incapacitate both of them by grappling their limbs.

Quinn was shook awake by Dr. Lanyx; apparently, some students; including some of his, had began a small squabble... those kids, and their powers might be uncontrollable. Quinn stood up, pissed off, sleepy, and irritated. The teacher marched through the faculty room as his eyes were set on stopping those children before they kill themselves... or worse, destroy the school. It didn't take too long before Quinn caught up with those students, and when he did, a faint yellow aura was emitting from him; a sign that he was not amused, not one bit. Quinn found himself; outside of school. Cameron on one end with Cerberus, Underwood, a reincarnate of Zeus, Ammit, Musa and Dewitt.

"I turn my back, and this is what happens." Quinn sighed as he brushed his hand through his hair; trying to remain calm. "Cameron, I will not deny you Cerberus since he is rightfully yours. However, I trust that you will keep the guardian of the underworld in line, got it?" Quinn eyed Cameron as he turned to Underwood; a cold girl she was according to one of the professors. "Ms. Underwood. According to Dr. Lanyx, and Dr. Phinigan, you have quite the temper. However, please restrain yourself. Don't let the past dictate your future." Quinn shook his head as he smiled at her. "Mr. Dewitt, command Ammit to stand down, or I will do it for you." Quinn cracked his knuckles as he eyed the group of reincarnates who were about to destroy the school.

"Now... I will give each of you 10 seconds to stand down... or I swear to whatever gods that exist... I will force all of you to stand down." Quinn smiled; a cold grin on his face. Quinn didn't need to unleash his powers; he doesn't need to. A blast of yellow energy surfaced from the calm professor's body as his eyes turned yellow. "We'll talk this over at the gym... Over a cup of tea. Now, stand down. Just relax; control your emotions." Quinn said in a serious tone; the ground cracking beneath him.
