beneath the helmet he is square jawed with black eyes and black hair cut short. He stands roughly 6'8" and weighs about 300 pounds.
Powers: superhuman strength and durability,(on a scale of 1-10, his strength is about an 5 His durability is a 6.). Instead of blood, the godly version of it, called Ichor runs in his veins.
Skills: Hand to Hand combat
Weapons: None. Ignore the sword in the picture. He fights barehanded.
Gear: the War armor of his father, handed down to him. The armor saw action during the Great War, or Titanomachy, and again when the gods clashed over the Trojan War.
Personality: Being born in the Realm of the dead, Crixus has spent most of his life either in Hades' palace or the Elysium fields(I.E. paradise), Crixus has no concept of modern technology, and is a little naïve when it comes to romance. In battle, however, he is ruthless, fearless, and a little scary to behold. Loyal to a fault, he is willing to die for his friends, and he has a bit of a temper.
Background: The son of Hades, God of the underworld, and his wife, Persephone, goddess of springtime, He is a literal god but for reasons unknown, he has not earned immortality. Born in the underworld, bathed as a child in the river Styx (though, having the soul of an Olympian, he cannot receive the Curse of Achilles.), trained by history's greatest warriors: Heracles, Achilles, Ajax, and even his cousin, the God of War and Slaughter, Ares.
But for centuries,Man has not needed the gods. Yes, Zeus still philandered, and yes, the Gods live on, watching civilizations rise and fall. With the new appearance of superhumans, both Good and Evil, and with the rise of aliens, of War and Death, of those who would threaten mankind, Zeus has called a meeting of the most powerful Council in history: the Dodekatheon. It is apparently serious enough that Zeus has requested Hades' presence. The end result was sending Crixus to earth as their champion, but since the world has lived centuries without the gods, he was stripped of his godly status.
Notes:
Just to make things simpler, I'm going with God of War appearances for the gods. That is really the only thing I'm borrowing from the game and unless otherwise noted, I'm using the original Mythology. The reason he cannot be a demigod is because Hades never cheated on his wife. Minthe and the myth surrounding her was purely a ROMAN invention. I'm using the Greek Mythology, which is SO much better as the Romans really just ripped off from the Greeks.
