(I'm really enjoying it too! I just want to cuddle Sherlock, omg...)

John laughed. "You're welcome, I guess. I haven't done anything yet, though." He looked out the window again for a moment, before looking back at him. "Sherlock?" He asked, looking a bit hesitant. "Don't take this the wrong way, but have you ever had real friends before?" He asked, looking a bit curious. Wasn't it normal for friends to have each others back? So why had Sherlock seemed so surprised when he had said he could tell John if he was being bullied, or something similar? John's friends back at his muggle school had always had his back, and he wanted to be friends with Sherlock. Was it.. different in the wizarding world/ He had never thought something that basic would change.
He smiled. "Not that it matters. I'm just curious." He looked at him, his eyes sparkling a bit. "I was being serious though. If you did need anything, you can ask me. If you don't go to Greg or Mycroft first." He said, chuckling a bit. Mycroft was his brother after all.
John chuckled - more like a giggle, but like hell he was going to admit that. "Sounds interesting. I'll have to ask Greg more about it." he said with a smile. He hesitated. "So I guess there are pretty big rivalries between the houses, huh?" He looked over at him. "I really hope we're put in the same house. I'd rather not have either of us get made fun of for being friends." He said, smiling. But he frowned again. "Wait, what do you mean people tell you to shut up?" He asked, tilting his head a little in confusion. "That's not fair. If you ever have trouble you come to me. And I'll..." He stopped, thinking. "Well, i'll find out a way to do something." He said, chuckling again.

(sorry this is short. >.<)
(Omg that happens to me all the time. >.< So it's fine, obviously :3)

John laughed a little. "It's a good thing I'm a good listener than." He said, grinning, but than he slowly frowned a little. "Hmm... well, we should still be friends." He said, looking like he was thinking for a moment. He shook away the worried thoughts that had invaded his mind, and looked up with another smile, settling back into his seat. "You mentioned that Greg was on the 'Quidditch' team? I don't think I read about that, but I feel like it must be important." He liked listening to Sherlock talk. He was smart, and John definitely trusted him to give him true information, and not trail off to something random. John had a good feeling that they'd become best friends. He hoped the houses didn't actually have rivalries. He would want to make friends in whatever house he was put into, but he wanted to remain friends with Sherlock.
John was just a little overwhelmed with the information he was given. His eyes were wide, but he nodded. "Oh... okay." he smiled brightly. "Maybe we'll be in the same house! That would be pretty great, wouldn't it?" He asked, as he picked up his last chocolate frog and at it, looking at the card. Godric Gryffindor. So he was another founder, based off of what Sherlock said. John wasn't surprised when he disappeared too. "That's so strange. Isn't it kind of creepy to have pictures and paintings moving and watching you all the time?" He frowned a little. "There's horror movies about that in the muggle world, you know." He looked at the cards again, and than took up one more jelly slug, eating it slowly, and watching out the window for a moment before looking back to Sherlock. John's eyes were still a bit wide.
John took one, taking a bite, and smiling. "Your right, they're actually pretty great!" He said, finishing it, and than taking one more of his chocolate frogs, opening it and quickly catching the frog, eating it. He looked at the card that Sherlock had mentioned earlier, and took it out, looking at the name. "Rowena Ravenclaw? Whose that?" He asked, looking to Sherlock to see if he had the answer. He looked back down and almost had a heart attack. "Why... I'm going insane. I swear to God, there was a picture right there." He said slowly, looking at it and turning it over, trying to get it. Was it some kind of joke or prank? He knew that paintings and pictures moved, because he'd seen them in some fo the stored he'd had to go to to get his supplies. He placed the card down slowly. Why would it disappear, though? Shouldn't it still... be there?
John nodded quickly. "Alright than. At least not everything is weird." He said, offering a teasing little grin to Sherlock, before finishing off the liquor ice wand. He looked to the jelly slugs next, seeming both confused and a bit hesitant. "Jelly slugs?" He asked, and instead reached for his own pumpkin pasty, taking a bite and smiling at the taste, which he found rather delicious. "Why are they called jelly slugs? You said they're normal, so they don't... taste like slugs or anything, do they? Cause I would think that would be rather disgusting." Not that he'd ever tasted a slug before, but... oh come on, they looked gross, how could they taste better? Wouldn't they be all slimy and... He had to hide a little shudder at the thought, just because it seemed so disgusting. But that couldn't be what they were, right?
John watched as he bought all of that candy. Wait, why? He watched quietly, giving Sherlock a confused look, until he started splitting it all between them. He grinned. "Thanks!" He said, picking up a one of the chocolate frogs and looking at it curiously. "Wait they actually.... move?" He asked, and carefully opened it, only to have a chocolate frog launch itself at his face. He quickly was able to grab it, and examined it, before just eating it. He brightened a bit. "Hey, that's actually pretty good." He swallowed. "But it's a bit strange." He said, chuckling a little. He than examined the liquor ice wand, examining it a bit. He was very curious about all of this stuff. "This doesn't... do anything, does it?" He asked hesitantly, before unwrapping a bit of the plastic and taking a bite.
John smiled, feeling a wave of relief. It still kind of made him sad, though - what could he have possibly gone through that he was so used to being offended, that he didn't care? John didn't want to ask about it, though. It definitely wasn't his place to know that kind of thing about Sherlock's personal life.
John looked at him, his eyes lighting up with curiosity. "Food trolley?" He asked, and just as he said that there was a knock on their door, and a little old lady with a kind smile poked her head in. "Anything from the trolley, dears?" She asked, motioning towards the little cart covered with different kinds of treats. John's mouth practically watered at all the food. He'd had breakfast this morning, a big one, but... he was a growing boy, dammit! He needed food.
However, he hesitated. "I don't have any money, sorry." He said, and settled back against the window, looking a bit putout, though e didn't mean to. He was quite hungry, though, and he was well aware he had no reason to be.
THAT IS GOOD Mystrade is a beautiful pairing. xD
John watched them leave, and than turned to Sherlock. "Are they... dating?" He looked back at the doors. "Greg seems a bit too... nice to be dating Mycroft." He looked at Sherlock hesitantly. "No offense, though. I know he's your brother and all, he just seems very... demanding. And intimidating" He scratched the back of his head, looking a bit nervous. God forbid he insult Sherlock when he's just become his friend. He'd just become friends with him, and learning things about him, he didn't want to make an enemy.
For some reason, John wanted to learn about Sherlock, and his cool powers. He also wanted to just be his friend, because judging from the other two it looked like for whatever reason he didn't have any. It kind of made John sad. He wondered if Sherlock was bullied in his hometown, or wherever he lived when he wasn't at Hogwarts. Wizarding students had to go to school for those 11 years, didn't they? There was no way that school just started at age 11. How did they learn math or how to read or any of the boring, 'muggle' stuff?
