My alternate account. I.E. I am ZAVAZggg and ZAVAZggg is me. Not to sock-puppet or some shit, just so I can actually have interaction between two characters in a way that fits Myriad Reality's posting style.

Nemid's goal, reasoning and such is that he comes from Brinkspace, which is the fringe area between Existence and Outside, and his people have fallen under some sort of undisclosed level of tyrannical control by an unknown force. He left to take power from other realities, and came back to Existence after doing so to try and absorb it and gain the strength needed to fight back against his people's oppressors.
TL;DR: He's trying to absorb Existence into this crystal-esque object in his head for power.

I see. Well depending on the level of time fuckery allowed, I might just have a character who's willing to help him in that goal, since said character sees Existence's absorption as no real problem since he can just time travel into the past repeatedly and live out his life in the years proceeding the event.

Assuming it isn't retroactively absorbed that is.

Then did your roles mean anything besides the actor you were playing?

Not really no. At least they shouldn't have anyway, but gods being what we are, it becomes easy to forget that it was all a game.

Still just for fun?

Pretty much.
Oh and can I get a quick rundown on what Nemid wants again? I may or may not consider throwing in another character at some point to act as his ally, depending on if a certain level of time control is allowed or not.
No worries. Hope it’s manageable.

Well it's back and working now, but for a while there it just didn't want to establish a connection.

You’d think that being gods, they’d try to avoid making something they couldn’t stop.

Oh they could, but destroying an entire race isn't really befitting a god of magic or war or nature. We had our parts to play after all.
My router is being a pain today.

To fix problems they couldn’t solve?

Essentially.
<Snipped quote by Caldizar>

When would they have to pull you in for that?

Whenever they liked, which could have been anywhere from a matter of months to a matter of millennia.
<Snipped quote by Caldizar>

Needed to destroy something?
