"I'll save it,"

Eke said, packing up the rest of the food. A massage did sound nice, but for now she needed somewhere quiet where she could talk on the phone in private,

"Is there somewhere that I can be alone? This is going to be a difficult call to make and I don't want passersby to hear me getting my head ripped off."
Sitting back in her chair, Ele mentally checked through the tasks she would need to do today while Tyler worked. Then she remembered the doctor's orders. Making a face as she took another piece of sushi, Ele sighed

"I was going to have a bunch of emails and phone calls to make, but now I only have one EXTREMELY stressful call to my boss."

Ele could feel her heart pounding harder as she thought of calling her boss to tell him that she was out of commission for the next 2-4 weeks. She could only imagine the look on his face, and suddenly Ele was very thankful she was a few hundred miles away from the office.
"That must have been nice."

Ele said, accepting the shrimp. She opened her orange juice and took a sip before she spoke again,

"I grew up with a single mom, but she liked having boyfriends. She'd move us in with her latest guy, things would be fine for a while, then they'd breakup and mom would put us in a hotel until she found a new guy."

Shrugging, Ele took another drink,

"We moved a lot."
Ele picked up the crab and took a bite, then nodded as she chewed. It was very good, and the spiciness of the sriracha sauce was perfect in balancing the flavors of the crab.

"I still don't understand the draw of that,"

Ele said with a shrug. She crossed her legs under the table and smiled,

"How long have you lived here?"
Sitting down and opening her food, Ele raised an eyebrow at Tyler's description of what mudding is. The idea of it confused her, and sounded dirty.

"Why would you want to do that?"

She asked, popping a piece of sushi into her mouth. It wasn't the best that she ever had, but it wasn't bad either.

"Doesn't the mud ruin your truck?"
Browsing through the selection, Ele picked a mid-range option, and grabbed some orange juice as well. She was an orange juice addict, and was not afraid to admit it. Paying for her meal, Ele joined Tyler,

"So what do you like to do for fun around here?"
((You just legit almost described my hometown!))

Opening her eyes to see the buildings, Ele realized that this was a much larger town than what she had originally thought. From how it had been described to her in the city. Of course, compared to the city, this town was very small. When they parked, Ele took a deep breath of relief at the lack of motion.

She opened her door and swung her legs out, getting ready to hop out of the truck, but the ground seemed to lean away from Ele. Groaning and closing her eyes, Ele eased herself down from the cab.
"That's a lot of sushi for such a little town."

Ele mused, looking out the window for a moment then groaning and closing her eyes again and leaning into the massage.

"What else is there here? My boss told me to really get to know this place, so tell me what you think of it."
Opening her eyes, Ele took the controller with a raised brow. Turning it on made the young woman smile in surprise though. The massage was helping ease the sickness a bit. Turning her head to look at Tyler, Ele nodded,

"Perfect. You like sushi?"

She asked. She hadn't thought something like sushi would be on the menu out here.
Ele shook her head. She had never even heard of it before. Settling back into the seat, Ele closed her eyes as they drove, the feeling of being in a car making her feel ill. Though, she hadn't eaten since early that morning before her flight, so that would be an explanation for the sudden car sickness, plus the pain medication on an empty stomach would not help.

"I still want to pay. I don't want to feel like a moocher."

She said stubbornly.
