"Well number one, they're a 90's fashion throwback that should have died. And number two, double the dragons does not mean double the awesome, especially on a full grown man. Just some advice, friend to friend."

Ele shook her head and reached over to pluck at the sleeve of Tyler's shirt. His clothes fitted well, but the city chic, fashion conscious Ele wanted to raid Tyler's closet and give him a complete overhaul.

"And you don't have to have a family to have a perfect life."
"You cannot possibly be so good at everything!"

Ele said, shaking her head and taking a few bites of her food.

"It feels like you're perfect. Perfect job doing what you love, perfect friends with perfect lives, perfect house, perfect everything."

She looked back up at Tyler and raised an eyebrow at him before shaking her head,

"Except the dragons, those are not perfect."
Ele raised an eyebrow at the appearance of the matching dragon clothing but said nothing, instead taking a couple bites of the food before chuckling,

"You'll have to do better than ramen and eggs. I learned how to cook out of necessity, so I decided to make it fun and learn to cook whatever I wanted. Sometimes I would watch Top Chef, or Iron Chef on TV and then go buy the ingredients and try to copy the dishes."

Making a face, Ele shook her head,

"Some of those came out no bueno."
The house was stunning and Ele's mouth dropped open. It was huge compared to her little studio apartment, and the kitchen drew Ele in immediately. She loved cooking, but her own kitchen was so small that it was hard to cook anything that required real skill. In here though, Ele felt like she was in a professional kitchen.

While Tyler was in the shower, Ele pulled out the eggs, lobster, potatoes, cheese and some other ingredients and began chopping and mixing until she had lobster potato cakes with poached eggs and a hollandaise sauce coating the top. She plated the food, making sure to give Tyler extra.

Leaning on the counter, Ele smiled at her creation, liking how they turned out.
Sitting quietly during the ride, Ele watched the world go by her. She was not a morning girl by any means, and she was still fuzzy from the night before. As they got to Tyler's house, his offer of coffee made Ele give a small smile and a nod,

"That sounds great."

She said, opening her door and getting out. Taking a leap of faith with Tyler, Ele followed him into the house.
Nodding, Ele turned back into the bedroom and shut the door behind her. Still in the clothes she had slept in, Ele decided against going looking like she was ready to fall asleep where she stood. Quickly she changed into a swimsuit she had brought, then pulled a pair of jeans and a long sleeved shirt over herself. Ele slipped on her boots, shoved her phone and wallet in her pockets, and walked out of the suite while putting her hair up into a ponytail.

Going to a waterpark, Ele decided it would be a good idea to go sans makeup and she hurried to the passenger side of the van to get out of the cold. In the van, Ele nodded to Tyler,

"Okay, now I'm ready."
Appearing at the door to the bedroom, Ele leaned against the doorframe and crossed her arms over her chest. Looking Tyler up and down, Ele stayed quiet for a moment, weighing her options. Deciding against holing up in her room for the next two weeks, Ele nodded then spoke up,

"On the condition that you don't try to convince me that I am not happy with my life and that I need to move here to realize my self-worth and become self-actualized. Deal?"
That's fine, I'm at school right now and won't be done until later tonight.
As she was unloading the SUV, Ele realized Tyler's van was still there. A trill of annoyance went through her, but at the same time she applauded his smart choice to not drive after drinking. Hoisting one bag over her shoulder, and pulling her rolling bag along, Ele brought her things inside, leaving the door open.
The next morning Ele woke up to the sound of her cell phone ringing. It was the courier company calling to say they were coming up the drive of the resort and needed to know where to bring her car and things. Sleepily, Ele gave them the instructions as she got out of bed and went to the kitchen to start a pot of coffee.

By the time it was done, the company had dropped Ele's stuff off and were driving away, leaving Ele with a much more sensible Tahoe SUV and her luggage in the backseat.

Leaving her coffee, Ele pulled on her snow boots and went out to unpack the SUV, her mind still fuzzy from the drinking the night before.
