Tyler's hand on her back felt amazing and Ele let her eyes close. It was so strange for Ele to enjoy the feeling of being touched, for her to seek the one thing that she had actively avoided for years of her life. Never mind the fact that she was sitting in a guy's lap, but at this point she was starting to change her perspective. This wasn't just some guy, this was Tyler.

"Am I distracting you from completing your shopping list?"

She asked, her voice soft and quiet.
"I'm the same. Play with my hair and it puts me straight to sleep."

She slowed her hands, but kept stroking,

"There's a lot of places I could show you. Like how you've been showing me the country, I'll show you how we play in the city."
"Oh yeah?"

Ele asked, smiling softly and running her fingers through Tyler's hair. Gently she pushed the strands back from his forehead,

"You're going to take me on a road trip then? Maybe we could drive to California and I'll show you my city."
Giggling at his sudden excitement, Ele watched Tyler as he brought up the body kit. He was very good at making her feel comfortable, not making a fuss about her sitting in his lap, just working on, but still giving her small moments like calling her "babe."

Putting her attention on the computer screen, Ele nodded her approval at the body kit,

"I like it. Reminds me of Austin Powers,"
((That's what I thought, lol!))

Outside, Ele blushed and smiled as she moved around Tyler's chair and lightly sat across his lap, and put an arm over his shoulder. Her fingers absently began to play with his hair. Inside though, she was freaking out in the best way, feeling like this was something special that Tyler was giving her.

Answering his question though, Ele knew she already liked the look of the Miata, but that didn't mean it would be best for racing. Turning her head to look at Tyler, Ele smiled as she spoke in a deadpan tone,

"Well, because I am such the expert at all things cars and what they need, I'll leave that decision to you since you're obviously the one who needs more experience at this stuff."

((Are they on the couch with a laptop, or on a desktop? I thought it was a desktop.))

Ele got up and moved to be nearer Tyler, looking at the screen, she could see a difference and understood what Tyler was explaining then something clicked in her mind and she looked at Tyler with a cautious smile,

"Is babe a general pet name you give all girls, or was that specifically for me?"
"Powerful little engine, that makes sense. The rest of it didn't."

Ele said, smirking at Tyler and giving him a wink. After a minute more, Ele set down her glass and sat cross-legged on the floor, looking up at the screen.

"But sounds like a plan!"
Coming over to Tyler, Ele set his glass down by the monitor and looked over Tyler's shoulder to read the description. Seeing the picture attached, Ele shrugged, even wrecked the thing was impressive looking,

"Fixed up that would be beautiful. Silver metallic paint would make it really flashy."

Kneeling on the floor, Ele looked up at Tyler,

"It's up to you, you would have the Miata and Rx8 to fix up. That's a lot of work, but from what you've said the cars could very well be worth it."
She followed Tyler and made a detour by the kitchen to grab a couple waters. Finishing her glass right away, Ele refilled it and went to join Tyler, taking the waters with her.
Teasingly, Ele started speaking with a heavy stereotypical Valley Girl accent,

"Like, Ohemgee! I totes know! We're gonna have like, soooo much fun shopping! Eeek!"

She gave a big, cheesy grin at Tyler, then her expression changed to something soft and genuine,

"You're bringing out a different side of me, one that I forgot I had."
