Smiling, Ele gave Vale and Terri hugs, then waved to Amber inside the bar. She loved this feeling, having friends to hang out with, a boyfriend to go home with, and having a night she would never forget. All of it made her wonder why she had fought so hard against it,

"Technicality means nothing, but of you would like to indulge more be my guest, I would just like to preserve this night,"

Ele tapped her temple with her finger,

"Right here, and I know that the more I drink the less I will remember."

"Suite, definitely. Any more drinks and you'll have to carry me,back."

Smirking before rising up to kiss Tyler and gently nibbling on his bottom lip, Ele said in a quiet voice,

"On second thought, getting carried by you sounds fantastic. Like a prince carrying his princess."

Cuddling up to Tyler, Ele watched the owl closely, wishing she could read its mind.

"It probably thinks you're a strange naked bird who had a weird accent."

Ele teased, watching the owl.

"I wonder what its doing?"

Staying there for a while, Ele watched the owls, entranced by the beautiful birds. It was getting late, and her eyelids were drooping when a flash of white caught Ele's attention and she opened her eyes to follow the silent white ghost.

"A snowy owl!"

Ele gasped quietly, her mouth open in a small "O". Staring at the bird, Ele let go of Tyler and leaned on the porch rail to get a better look,

"I didn't think we would get to see one!"

Watching in awe, Ele's eyes were wide as Vale and the owl had their conversation. It was amazing to see the connection between human and animal, and Ele wished she could have recorded it to watch again later.

Turning her head to kiss Tyler on the neck, Ele pressed her face in the curve of his neck and shoulder,

"That was so cool!"

"There's another!"

Ele said, pointing in another direction. Giggling and jumping up and down, Ele hugged Tyler's middle tightly and put her head on his chest,

"They're so beautiful!"

Excitement bubbled inside of Ele and she nodded with a smile, standing up then swaying.

"Woah..."

She said, planting her feet wider to steady herself,

"Seriously, one of those birds had better have my long lost Hogwarts letter if they're supposed to be coming in as big of a flock as you described!"

"Thank you Vale."

Ele said gratefully, taking the empty straw and getting ready. Soon all of them were sucking down the drink and Ele could already feel her head getting lighter and her thoughts fogging.

When the bowl was empty, Ele sat back and laughed, holding her head as it spun,

"Okay... I'm tipsy... That pushed me over!"
