Some novels have it just be an ambient thing you can draw in from the air around you, others have it where you can get it from meditation or pills, etc. As far as this RP goes though, it's basically the end result of that energy the lore blurb mentions. Energy goes in, gets refined through the process of cycling it through certain channels in the body, and then becomes Qi one can use for various supernatural effects.

>In regards to it not needing a target, I'm assuming one can just throw it around unlike a martial technique, which needs to be targeted on someone or something.

And it looks like dear old dad has decided it's time for the multiverse to end. This universe is next on the chopping block. Unfortunately for him, I don't plan on sticking around to see it through.
