I'm ready if everyone else is.
Braedug nodded in agreement, then quickly re-assumed his cheerful demeanor.

"Well alright then, no use worrying until we can do something about it. Let's go see our employers, and maybe get a drink while we're at it,"

Braedug flicked on his comlink, and pulled his blaster pistol from a case on the wall. He concealed it under his jacket, just in case. Braedug then activated the panel by the ramp, and stepped out into the landing bay.
Braedug nodded, then chuckled before answering.

"Eh, something similar happened to me, but a show of force scared 'em off. That's not what I really needed to talk to you about though,"

Braedug took a moment to look out the hatch, and raised it with the push of a button. Braedug then picked up his comlink and switched it off.

"You never know who might be listening, I'm sure you can appreciate that,"

Braedug's demeanor changed abruptly.

"I don't like this, not at all. Why pay off our bounties just to move some death sticks? Why hire a mercenary for what should be a simple delivery? I mean, Molech is pretty well established right? He should have his own movers for stuff like that. I don't know if we're being sent somewhere dangerous, or maybe we're just a distraction, but our employers haven't been entirely truthful,"
"There's a reason she has the name 'Scrap Heap', but she gets the job done,"

Braedug activated the ramp, and opened his ship. He smiled at his new partner, and waved him inside.

"Tell me Dronas, have you had any trouble with unwanted hangers on lately?
Just waiting on reem then.

I hope we can get one of those "online" "offline" things again. Those were useful.
Braedug slowly came to consciousness, still seated inside the ventral turret. He yawned, and stretched his aching back. He climbed back into the main body of the Scrape Heap. It took Braedug a couple of minutes to fully remember all the events of the previous night. Braedug sighed, and searched around for the comlink. Braedug pulled it from one of his pockets, and flicked it on.

"Hey Dronas, it's Braedug, meet me at my ship. We need to talk,"
Are we going to be posting today? Or has it just fallen to bits?
They taste like sugar and horse.
I was planning on it, just waiting on others.
Goodnight.
