Subject Gamma knelt on the ground, staring down at the tiny, prone figure that lay unmoving on the metal floor. "What's the matter tin man? Did your little bitch finally give out? Well, give it here! There might be some ADAM left!" Gamma turned to face the source of the cruel, mocking voice. A man with crazed eyes and a revolver in his hands stood behind the Alpha series big daddy, twitching and panting. Gamma stood, and revved his drill, letting out a low roar. The splicer dashed forward, "If you won't share, I'll just take--" the last words in his throat were cut short when Gamma grabbed him by the throat and lifted him from the ground. Gamma drove the drill into the gut of the splicer, and activated it, messily disemboweling the fiend.
Gamma turned back to the sister. Already, Gamma could feel the effects of her death, a sense of deep-seated wrongness had wormed its way through Gamma's entire body, alerting the big daddy to the consequences of ihis failure to protect the little sister. However, in the loss of the sister, Gamma felt something else, a memory surfacing. It was little more than a single word. "Persephone"
