@beyond visionsI mean, technically you did hold a spot in the OOC that you were going to have a response but had to make the time. I think you can still make it work. Here's a couple of options.
1) The party has been very internally focused, you could have the response of the aliens already going on, but the PC's simply haven't noticed.
2) You could assume that this is a bit of an argument with people shouting over each other and thus very little time has actually passed.
Either way you need to take the next post.
On the other hand, I
do have a way to put them in their place... if they are smart. *Evil Smile* But it could result in everybody standing behind me. I'm not sure if you want to go that way.
