Ella smiled at Angelo as he winked. She was surprised he hadn't flirted with the new arrival. "My name is Gabriella. Please, call me Ella." She offered the strangely intimidating girl a hand. Cautiously she eyed the new 'hero'. She seemed more of a villain type to Ella. The new arrivals eyes sent uncomfortable feelings down her spine.
"I don't trust her.. Keep our guard up." Ella spoke to Bri.
"Really? I like this chick's style. Maybe she'd give me a conversation worth having. Unlike the useless dribble I get from you."
Ella was unamused with her other self and pushed her further into her mind, which would surely come back to bite her later. "And you are?"

"Oh Gwen." Setting her tea down she wrapped her arms around the small girl. "You're anything but a failure" Resting her head onto top of the older girls she almost cried with Gwen. She hated to see anyone, especially her family, upset.
Suddenly she heard a crash from the hall. Startled she turned to look towards the door. "What was that?" She looked down at Gwen and slowly stood up heading for the door. "Whose home except for us?"
"Hello? Are you okay?" She softly called down the hall.

Taking her hand out of his long enough to clap energetically she giggled happily. Suddenly realizing something she turned to Melissa and took his hand again. "I'm Lily. I'm this many." She proudly held up her other five fingers that weren't in his hand. "How old are you? Are you a hundred?" She giggled knowing that was a silly number.

With a small chuckle and grin she pulled her hand away. "Thank you kindly, but I fear flattery will not get you far with me." Despite her words a small rosy blush appeared on her cheeks and she felt slightly flustered.
"EW. You fell for that crap?'
"Oh shut it. Excepting a compliment is not falling for anything."
"You like him. That's disgusting."
Ignoring her other half Ella continued to converse with the man. "Is it just the three of us?" She looked around and saw no one that stuck out to her.

Seeing the newcomers she turned and eyed the boy on her team. He looked shy but nice. Lilly happily teetered over to the male Melissa and looked up at him with her big eyes. "You're on my team!" Giggling she twirled in her pink dress. She reached up and grabbed his hand pulling down on it. "Come on! We gonna win" She smiled up at him with a large grin.

Noel stared at her reflection in the tea ashamed. She knew full well she should have gone with them to fight but she couldn't bring herself to do it. Especially at night. "I.." Sipping her tea to fill the silence she finally looked up with a fallen smile. "I can't drive yet..Remember? They left without me." Her voice cracked in shame for the horrible excuse. She felt horrible for lying to Gwen and her hands began to shake slightly.
She closed her eyes and quietly sighed to clear her head. "I don't. I haven't seen him all night. Perhaps try his phone? He has to be awake, right?." She didn't mention the messages to avoid hurting the sickly girl's feelings.

"That's enough. You don't need to judge them so abruptly."
Ella strode up to the two ignoring the banter in her head. As she stood in front of the pair she inspected them further. A young man equipped with multiple swords and a young girl who seemed to shy away. "Hello. Are you two some of the 'heros' that I am to meet?" Reaching her hand out to the boy for a handshake she continued on. "My name Is Gabriella. Please call me Ella. Daughter of the wayward adventurer and Haphazard..." She sighed at her use of the word. "hero'. Which makes you..?"
"I'm in here too! Let me out!" Bri nearly growled the whole sentence.

Noel smiled sweetly at Gwen. She wished Gwen's health was better. "Maybe someday I'll take you." She honestly meant it, even though she was scared out of her wits in battle. Sipping her tea she watch Gwen over the cup. "Who ya texting?" She cocked her head like curious puppy and silently sipped the steaming liquid again.
