The noticeable click of the door opening broke Eugene out of her shock. What came out was a creature that held Ms. Deville's voice but was perhaps as ancient as time itself. The years had certainly been hard on the poor patron but it didn't lessen the spark one felt in her voice. Ever the affable and caring Ms.Helen.

Eugene quickly stole her glance from the well built man whom she later remembered as Scott with all the help from Ms.Deville. Suddenly, all the years in this school came to her. The bullying, the troubles, the silence and sense of grief. She had been labelled "Ghost-eyes" , "Scorched Earth" and "Minefield" by the ones that shared the class with her. The hit it had taken on her personality was tremendous, she had become a recluse, a shut-in, a misfit. No longer confident in who she was. The only one even remotely tolerant of her presence apart from Jack had been Tia.

But seeing how she grew up, Eugene knew that that bridge was burnt as well. She was all alone now. Alone among predators and they'll prey once more on her mind. She was stunned into silence as another man came up and greeted her. Her eyes glassy and distant, with fear trapped in them like a fossil. It was the cold touch of Ms.Deville again, which brought her out of her nightmare. She ushered the three inside as they took in the view of the house. Not much had change barring the aircon, which was a bit too cold. Was this hell? Was she trapped?

Had it not been for Jack, Eugene won't have dared to come back to this place. Not with these demons around, waiting to pounce on her soul. As Ms.Deville showed them the picture of their graduation, she noticed the light haze at the bottom corner of the picture. There it was, or rather He. The one who knew about sorrow more than anyone else and one who had lived almost every moment being ostracized. Someone, who can embrace Eugene as they lean on each other. Two frail saplings trying to be trees.

Ms.Deville pointed to their accommodation for the night and that it had been pre-arranged. As they made their way up the stairs, Scott got talking. Eugene could barely make sense of what he said for she was too busy being intimidated by the current situation. She was with two of her classmates, ones that frightened her to an unthinkable degree. She felt vulnerable, fidgeting all the while as Scott made conversation.

She stared at him blankly the first time he mentioned her name. Had he really forgotten her? He who had given her the moniker of "Ghost-eyes"? She just looked at him blankly as he moved up and down the hall. Blabbering about one thing or the other, it was the second time that he mentioned her that she shook like being blasted with a sudden icestorm. Her lips quivered as she searched for a reply, her eyes traversing from the floor to his face and back. Following this motion more than a dozen times, before she could answer however, she noticed his smile. Or rather piercing sneer of devil himself, she turned tail and shakily walked towards the room labelled 2-2. The one at the farthest end of the hall, the one farthest from him, hopefully. As she walked within the reach of the door, she suddenly bolted inside and shut the door behind her.

Cold sweat ran down her forehead as she took deep breaths.

She crumpled into a knot on the floor. A mess of limbs as she broke into tears.

"Please save me, Jaaacckk!!" she wailed between sobs. Keeping in mind not to be loud so that one may catch it outside her room.

Coming here was a mistake! She wondered if she could survive the night.
I responded, now to wait for Xlegs and Takaru.

"I want to know what kind of things each of you is interesting in learning." The housekeeper said.

"I think it would be a good start if we knew how to control our powers and do things in moderation." Py said in reply to the gatekeeper's question. Settling in his seat as Kyo left his hand and went to take his.

"Or maybe some insight about group dynamics and interacting with people. Words hurt as much if not more than actions and I know I'm guilty today." he finished, his fingers silently tapped the table in a very faint rhythm. He waited patiently for the housekeeper's reply.
sorry have not been able to post. Expect a reply post later today.

The elder Shirohane politely encouraged his choice and also mentioned about his request for a discount. His smile dropped and a serious expression took over, one of guilt. Here he was, asking for a favor by an artist and he was already planning of shortchanging their craft. He felt bad for being such a idiot but the kindness, it seemed ran in the family for the mother was as understanding as the daughter. She also said that morning deliveries won't be much trouble and that they could be arrange. With a warm smile she then asked for his request if he had more to say.

"I'm extremely grateful, Shirohane-dono." he said as he clutched both his hands in front of his chest and shook them slightly to show his gratitude along with a bow.

"I would just add a thing more. Please don't take this as an affront to your craft, just that I that mentally I found that the image fit with what I had in mind. So if you could please, while making the bouquet arrange the two carnations as such that to the viewer, the one on the right appears larger than the one on the left." he said politely, with his head still in a half bow. He felt that he was being a bit too finicky with the whole order and that he needed to restrain any further thoughts.

"I'll understand if you don't though, since you are more skilled in the art. Now, if mornings are no issue then please deliver them to this address." he said as he took out a card from his pocket. Initially he had planned to tell the patron of the place of delivery, but with more company he just couldn't bring himself to speak it. He fiddled in his other pocket for a pen and put down the address at the back of the card.

To, Dinara Dragunov-Tenjiro
Ward-2: Intensive Care Unit
Room Number - 7, Warakuma General Hospital

"Please deliver it to this address." he said, handing over the card to the elder woman. A bit of moisture developing in his eyes. He then looked about in his blazer pocket before taking out five crisp 10,000 yen notes and handing them over.

"Please take this as a token amount, I promise to settle accounts every month. Also, at the back is my contact number. I'll happily serve any of your needs for repairs and handyman jobs. Thank you." he said with a bow, waiting for elder Shirohane to allow him his leave.
Watching Nargesh in action was always a pleasure. As Orgen took up his position in the rear after Captain's orders. He saw the giantess heave a heavy rock up and throw it at the palisades like a pebble. Crushing its defenses enough to make for the charge of the Blades. She then took ran at the walls like a warg or even faster still. He was always amazed by her athleticism, but he was no slouch either. As the company broke into a frenzied charge Orgen to got his legs warmed up.

Decked in a fearsome full armor, he rumbled towards the break in wall. By the time he had reached, the walls were already fallen out of bunnies's hands. Nargesh and first company were engaged in full macabre splendor as a slaughter was unleashed. With a timed leap he was over the wall. Landing on other side with a thud, the earth caving in slightly by all the sudden mass. He unhooked his greataxe and took his first swing, cleaving two bunnies clean from the midriff, they were too shocked to even yelp like most of their kind did when facing orcs.

He marched towards the gates, clearing the path. Not caring for the archers that may target him, instead he drew the ground forces towards him as his brethren assaulted from the other side. Another mighty heave cleaved three more and engraved the axe deep into the side of the gate. The sudden blow contributing to the collapse of the wooden hindrance which was under vicious onslaught.

Ever the prepared warrior Orgen left his axe and took out his clubs, going into a dual wielding frenzy as his brethren poured through the main gate.
I'll wait for another post with a downtime of twelve or so hours before I begin working on my second post.

Alexei bowed fully as the elder Shirohane gave her sagely advice. Compared to Kotori it was more specific and elaborate. She even went on to explain the three critical ways of choosing flowers for somebody all the while maintaining a rather pleasant and cheerful disposition, one truly fitting to someone who spend her time with flowers. She also held on an amused smile unlike those back in Tokyo who just scowled at him for trying and aping their methods of conversation.

He wasn't the most sterling example of the Japanese art of conversation and his body was at odds to it as well. but he uttered his deep thanks in a low baritone "Thank you, Shirohane-dono. It is of great help to me. I'll keep your tips in mind."

Before he could expand on his order though, the doorbell chimed and another guy barged in abruptly. Alexei just turned to face the newcomer as he fumbled some words of apology and then in turn introduced himself as Toma Tanaka in the same year as Alexei. Alexei felt it would be rude to reply to it. So he just calmly stated his name and class before turning back to Kotori's mum, who had signaled for Kotori to go and talk to her senior while she waited on Alexei.

"Sorry" he said with a bow. "Well I'll go with the last two criteria you mentioned. Something that I think fits them and the meaning of it." he said politely. He thought for a second as he organised his specifications.

"To my limited knowledge, Shirohane-dono. I would like to have an Ikebana bouqet with a Daffodil as its centerpiece. Flanked at both sides with a white Carnation, then a circle of Ranunculus dotted with Crocus in between. Finally sitting on a bed of Apple and Almond blossoms with Azaleas thrown in for a bit more color." he finished. He may or may not surprise the veteran but he thought he had nailed down the flowers he wished conveyed his meaning.

"I would like to know your suggestion, I want to convey my affection and hope for a better life. Plus, a wish for a speedy recovery and never say die attitude." he paused as the corners of his eyes became slightly moist. He quickly wiped them off in a way disguised as a usual rub of the face but the woman in front of him had been quite watchful so she may not be fooled by it.

"I would prefer a morning delivery but anytime during the day is fine." he said with a slight smile. He knew that he shouldn't be imposing himself when he hadn't even given his order.

I meant more in terms of a collab, but if you prefer post by post, we can do that too. And sadly arrows for warbows tend to be as heavy as they can be at this point without sacrificing range and accuracy. The only real advantage an orc bowmen has over a human one, is they probably can reach the maximum draw weight for a bow much faster and with less weight training then elves or humans. (They'd probably just need to learn the stance and technique.)

Hmm rather interesting. I'm not an expert on pre-1700 methods of ranged engagement so I concede that you have a good point. I think the brute strength of Orcs would allow them to fire more arrows at a given amount of time. Like a modern example, if Humans and elves are an SMG then Orcs are MGs.

On the other note, Would you prefer titanpad or the PMs here.

Since we are in different timezones the collab can take atleast a day but I'm more than happy to partner up.

"We have power development in the afternoon." Katherin told him. "I think the schedule is arranged to keep us out if trouble. We have gym than class after lunch we have power development and then life skills. There's no real free time until after supper."

"No free time until supper!" Py exclaimed, "Well.." before he could add something Kyo spoke up.

"Personally, I would like some extra time on my own during the day, but I am sure that the housekeeper has her reasons. At any rate, I suppose that we should be grateful that she is willing to provide this much education. We would not get as much of a chance elsewhere." Even if it was busy, Kyo decided that at least this schedule was better than what he had done in the past few years before being given something to do here. Of course, they had spent quite a bit of time just dealing with his ability problems before he was finally allowed to join in the daily schedule. "Should we walk to class together? I am sure that the housekeeper is waiting."

"Yeah you are right, let's go to the class. I wouldn't like to keep her waiting." Py agreed to Kyo's suggestion.
