So I guess we're pronouncing this RP dead, then.

Anybody here still want to run an Overlord RP?
Getting straight to an interesting part of the RP first instead of toiling with introductory stuff tends to help the longevity of an RP.

But, one of the players hasn't been seen in 9 days and... that's never good.
What about skipping the raid event and getting into the game?
Like, One Unit Whole Balor implanted in place of his heart?

Edit: I would also say use Pathfinder/D&D classes/archtypes/prestige classes to draw inspiration from as many of the existing canon ones are already.

Many of the canon ones are already... what?
What's our goal? Like, we already know as roleplayers that we're getting shunted into the new world, but are we going to meet other players in the guild or will it just be us and whatever our ambitions are?

I'd like to know how far above my station my ideas can be before I get started on making a character. Without a definite goal, I'll opt to get up to some bullshit.

Edit: Also, for help and inspiration, below is a link to the Job Class list so far.

You'd have way more luck pitching this on your realm's forums than here in RoleplayerGuild. WAY more. I can guarantee there would be a bunch of people that would love to run a story like this.

Outside of forum play-by-post.

Because you could actually complete a story arc in a feasible amount of time rather than drag on for a month, get stuck on one guy who won't post anymore, and then drop the roleplay because everyone got lethargic and shambled off to the next flavor of the month.

But if you're not active enough to justify running a guild/group that does that sorta stuff then, good luck to you.
Why the heaven and hell thing? I love Homestuck in all its absurdity, but it seems a bit contrived for the setting. Also, I hope you're not looking for an actually large group. Large groups for Homestuck RPs almost never get anywhere. Post rotation bloating is a prime killer.
Jesus, it got creepy. I'm out.
I think I'm interested in this.
Edit: Oh wait I already... replied in the other thread. Whoops.
