Surprise, there's a newbie in town and it's me! My username is Discodeine, and in real life I go by as Jackie. I'm from The Netherlands, the city of Utrecht to be precise, and I'm 23 years old. I registered on a Dutch Harry Potter forum when I was 11 years old and have played play-by-post RPGs till I was 17. Then I discovered college, partying and going out, and pretty much stopped posting on message boards. The fantasy-lover in me has awoken again - after six years I really want to RPG again! A few franchises I'm really passionate about: Harry Potter, X-Men, Stranger Things, Charmed and Avatar (The Last Airbender). Hit me up if you'd love to do an RPG related to these universes (1x1 is awesome, groups also fine!).

Hi Bing! I love your idea. I used to RPG a lot when I was younger, and I started to miss it recently, so here I am! I'd love to be a part of the realm beyond the gate. Since I haven't RPGed in years I've become a bit new to it again, plus I'm Dutch, so forgive me if I'm writing anything weird. Feel free to give feedback :-) This is the character I have in mind:
Name: Lara Wyatt
Age: 23
Gender: female
Appearance: not too long (165cm/5'4), skinny, brown shoulder length hair worn as a braid. She comes off as a plain Jane with dark brown three quarter pants, a black tank-top and a loosely worn blouse. Lara wears some sort of cloth around her wrist, as if she's trying to hide something underneath it, and brown leather gloves cover her hands.
Personality: she's not very talkative and seems to have her own motives for wanting to enter the realm beyond the gate. When she opens up, she's sweet and helpful, but can also be stubborn.
Goal: What are you searching for? I think it's fun to let the story develop and find out what Lara's motives are! I hope that's fine with you.
