@DiZL ReloadeD the two skeletons at the entrance that shattered but didn't disappear have returned to flank you. Greater numbers are always to be feared.
So in other words they respawned at the entrance when they were defeated?
It wasn't until it was within striking distance that the trap was sprung.
The two skeletons who had shattered into gray shards at the entrance came running from the entrance the group at come in from, both brandishing their rusted weapons. Caught between the iron dagger wielding foe and the surprise ambush, it seemed the archer was about to be in a desperate fight or flight. It seemed like the only available options were to make a leap to another walkway, dodge the knife wielding skeleton, or collapse the bridge.
@Zelosse This part kind of confused me, are the two skeletons defeated? Did reanforcements deploy at the entrance behind the group? Did the defeated skeletons come back to life? And isn't Black Rabbit in between the archer and the skeletons anyway? Such two skeletons don't seem like much of a threat to Black Rabbit and Leno. I need some clarity before I can work on my post.
You do have a point, I'll figure something out. Maybe make some changes, maybe save the character up for another RP and just make a not-so-bright Ogre instead or something entirely different.
Age: 30 Species: Human Side: Ruthless Mercenary for hire (currently) Short Backstory: Little is known about her past, most of her records are classified and no one really has the guts to get close to her. It is said however that she used to be a gun-crazed Mercenary before SOLDIER found out about her. SOLDIER seeing potential in her offered her a "Job", she took care of dangerous enemies and SOLDIER supplied her with weapons, ammo, equipement, money and so on. Among Soldiers as well as vampires she was known as "SOLDIER's Bloodhound".
Back then in the Vampire Human war, she was tasked to work under General Fenix' command for some time. When the General died however, she used this opportunity to disappear from the screen. It's been almost 3 years since Allison disappeared, in this time she got back to her previous profession, being a mercenary for hire...
Personality:
She's somtimes really reckless, especially when involved in Close-Quarter-Battles.
No matter how bad the situation she is in, she'll still make fun of you.
Has a short temper.
Is a Heavy smoker.
She's swearing a lot. For instance when you piss her off she starts using f**k like a comma.
Powers/Skills:
Allison has remarkable CQC skills and reflexes.
Is a good motorcyclist.
Has a talent for Fireweapons, give her any gun and she'll use it without problems.
Main: Her good ol' 9x19 VSN (Vityaz-SN) submachinegun or an AK-12 with a GP-30 underslung grenade launcher. The choice of her main weapon depends on the job.
Support: a Custom Mossberg 12 Gauge Shotgun, specially designed for her (Shown in picture nr.1). It is lighter than other versions, it is her most favorite weapon and she has different types of ammunition.
"I'm not good, not bad... but I sure as hell ain't ugly."
Age: 38 Species: Human Side: a gunslinger for hire playing after his own rules
Deadeye is a famous Gunslinger well known in the underworld, from normal delinquents to the biggest crimelords, everyone has heard the stories. He made a name for himself back then when he was in his mid 20s, where he took on an entire Cartel singlehandedly. Slowly bringing it down, facility by facility, man by man. Soon there was nothing left from neither the Cartel nor its former members.
Another time a criminal organisation was robbing a train Jack was on, as a blind passenger to avoid drawing attention. They rappelled off helicopters onto the moving train, which was pretty crazy in Jacks eyes, but he also knew that those guys had to be professionals and that they didn't just get on the train for nothing. So he decided to crash the party. He took them on alone again and soon the passengers were safe. Though he couldn't find out what those guys were after in the first place, but it didn't really bother him. The government however was holding Jack responsible for the train robbery. He didn't claim a reward from the passengers he saved. When the conductor asked him what he should tell the authoroties, Jack simply said "Tell 'em the truth. If they don't listen, that's on them. But maybe you can get on the radio... Fudge our arrival time a bit... It's been a long day. And I wouldn't mind a 5-minute head start."
Personality: Jack believes that the world is what people made it, and if they made it a bad place, it would be bad for them. He also believes in decisions and respects what his enemies had chosen to do, but constantly says they still brought their deaths upon themselves. He believes in justice and respects everyone and their choices. Jack has a bad habit of blowing stories out of proportion, or changing them up as he goes along.
Powers/Skills:
Gunslinger
Marksman
Quick on the draw
Good Reflexes
Main: His trusty pair of Sixshooters with switched out Cylinders and different ammunition types ranging from your average bullet to trackers.
Support: Depending on the job he has access to:
Flashbangs
Proximity mines
tripwires
smoke grenades
Sticky cameras
tracking devices
When hunting down his targets he challenges them to a showdown, like in the old western movies. He never lost a single duel so far. If his opponent decides to run, Deadeye will hunt him down. In his eyes he gave his opponent a fair choice.
In most situations he unintentionally gets wind up in, the local authorities hold Jack responsible.
There is a bounty of 60.000$ on his head. Dead or Alive.
Sometimes he worked together with another mercenary named 'Luckshot'.
I was wondering, a (eastern)dragon demi-human would be a legit character as long as she isn't OP, right? If yes, anyone looking for a servant? (CS still in developement)
BlackRabbit looked at the tanky skeleton that made his advance over the bridge towards their small group. "That one looks like trouble." he said, when Nenatalev began to give orders. "Rabbit! Go help Shiro with the skeletons, I'll hold off the big guy!" she exclaimed as she headed for the skeleton that assaulted over the bridge. To Rabbit it seemed like bad idea going toe to toe with this juggernaut. "What? Wait! You can't-" Before he could finish his sentence he noticed that the two skeletons attacking from behind were already about to attack Leno. Swiftly BlackRabbit jumped in between the skeletons and Leno and deflected both strikes. It seemed like these two skellies weren't all too happy with Rabbit interfering, moving their focus from Leno to BlackRabbit who stood between them and their initial target.
BlackRabbit tightened his grip as he readied himself. Then the skeletons began their attack. Rabbit block the first skeletons attack and managed to push it backwards, making enough room to deal with the second skeleton. Trying to use the larger attack range of his rapier compared to its dagger, he lunged forward and attempted to strike it down before the first could recover, but that son of a b**** simply jumped backwards to dodge his strike. To make things worse first skeleton had recovered already and already prepared its next attack while he tried his luck at the second one. Taking a big swing it jumped at BlackRabbit, who barely managed to deflect its strike and this time, had to take a few steps backwards. Those two wouldn't go down as easily as the previous skeletons...
