Is this Rp still accepting characters? It seems pretty new but I just wanted to make sure before I filled out a CS.

She could hear Melissa chuckle in the slightest. The girl somewhat reminded her of herself a few years ago. Of course, Melissa still had Keegan, so she had some place to stay, though if were things were different. "Y-yes, this is a place f-for children, though not in the common sense. The question is, are you special?" Melissa responds, mimicking the Housekeeper from when she first met, though in her own way. She still kept the plain, emotionless, blank stare transfixed on Delilah, though couldn't help but smile to herself for unknown reasons.

Delilah was honestly happy when the older girl smiled, she liked it when people smiled. Her own smile faded at the older girl's question though and she shoved her hands into the pockets of her jacket. Getting turned away was from someplace else her greatest fear at this point.

Nodding her head in a slow, uncertain manner she said slowly, "I-I think that I am... Would you like me to prove it to you?" Delilah decided she would summon lightly if the girl said yes. She was to scared to try and show her wings yet, very time anyone saw them they freaked and called her a demon, that had happened to many times with the groups of homeless kids she had stayed with.

As Melissa made her way upstairs from Weapons Training, she heard a knock on the front door to the orphanage, followed by some faint thoughts that were barely audible. She didn't exactly see the housekeeper around to reply, so she decided to try her hand in the matter. After all, it wasn't tricky to remember what the Housekeeper said on her own arrival - she'd just mimic what she'd said before. Also, she was still slightly paranoid that it could be one of ...The door opens to a rather beautiful young girl with black hair and eyes that shone like gems. Her face seemed plain and emotionless, and her stare was slightly blank. She wasn't quite sure how to begin, though decided to start with something simple."C-can I help y-you?" She stutters, giving the impression of a rather shy persona.

Surprised slightly by the very pretty girl in front of her, Delilah put on a bright smile. She said in a slightly uncertain voice, "Um, is this the orphanage?" How to bring up whether or not it was for special kids was a mystery to Delilah. She continued smiling brightly as she thought, oh my goodness, what if this is the wrong place? Refusing to let her worried emotions appear on her face she said bright, "I'm looking for somewhere to stay for the night and maybe a bit longer than that. I heard from somewhere that this was a place for... special cases." It was obvious that Delilah was in need of help, she was the type of dirty that could only come from living in the streets for two year. She felt awkward being around such a pretty girl when she was such a mess, but she kept her happy smile stubbornly on her face.
Delilah shivered in the rain as she looked up at the pretty, yet slightly menacing building. It had taken her all week to muster up the courage to come her, and all day to walk across the city to get her. She was scared of federal institutions, mostly scared that they wold force her to go back to that horrible apartment and her parents. The hood on her oversized rain jacked fell back as she looked up at the building and rain slid into it, running down over her back and through her feathers. She hastily pulled the hood up again, drying her feathers wasn't exactly a fun experience. Hopefully tonight she would be able to take a real shower for the first time in years, the would be worth the tedious experience of drying her wings. She pressed her wings tighter against her back so they weren't visible through the jacket and lifted a shakey hand to knock firmly on the from door of the large building.

Name: Delilah Grace
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Abilities: “Angelic” Power. I am totally making this up, and it’s not as impressive as it sounds. She has wings, but she can also create orbs of light. They’re not very very big, but they can be very bright. The light can’t hurt you unless you stare at it and then it hurts your eyes, it’s about the same as the sun but heat less. She has to be able to “absorb” the light though. She does this by simply being in light, be it sunlight or artificial.
Personality: Delilah is an extremely bubbly person. She is always striving to make people around her smile and whenever someone around her is upset she automatically gets upset also. Whenever she meets new people she makes very quick opinions about them and it’s difficult to get her to change them. She has her head in the clouds most of the time and spends a lot of time day dreaming. It’s also very easy for her to develop a crush and it’s just as easy for her to get over it. If someone hurts her it’s very hard for them to earn her trust back.
Appearance:
Bio: Delilah used to have a very good family life. Her parents were very loving, they always sat down to dinner together every night and talked about her day. Her father had a good job, so her mother didn’t need to work. She simply stayed at home and took care of Delilah. This is how Delilah learned to be kind to other people, and how nice it was to make others smile. Things changed though when her father was laid off. Her family situation took a turn for the worst. Her parents started arguing into the late hours of the night, and then her father started to beat her mom. Her mother started to drink to forget about their troubles and beat Delilah in retaliation. It got even worse when Delilah’s powers started to show. It started with Delilah growing a set of beautiful wings. Her parents were horrified, they called her a demon and beat her even worse. They locked her in her room and tried to starve her. Delilah eventually managed to break the knob in the middle of the night and escape the little apartment that they had been forced to move into. She took all the money she could find in the apartment when her parents slept in a drunken stupor. She filled a backpack with clothes and set out to the street. She had only been 13. She learned to hide her wings as she lived ob the streets and had to fight for herself. It wasn’t till last week that she heard about an orphanage for weirdos, kids who could do crazy impossible things. Things like have a set of wings protruding from her back. She’s made her was across the city to the orphanage in homes of finding a place to stay.

(Sorry that took so long, my friend sucked me into playing a couple games of league.)
Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean for that to post three times D:
