That's novels, not novels. Visual novels are computer "games" that are essentially novels with art and music, oftentimes voice acting and branching storylines, and sometimes animation.

Hey guys! Wonderful posts and great activity in the good 'ol Pieces of 8 thread here. It does a GM good to see such. On that note however, my esteemed Co-GM and I would like to get a new headcount for the RP. Just want to update the cast and know who we need to wait on or not. Thanks guys and gals!

You should pick up visual novels. They're basically a midway point between watching a television show and reading a book.

This. They are not games. There is no gameplay. Its a movie with subpar writing and random button input.

I'm not even going to pretend like I'd taste the difference in coffees at this point. Very dark, lots of caffeine and I'll be happy, if you would please Heroes? Though I'm certainly all about the falling into a bowl of granola too. Yum! The flavor of brown sugar has got to be one of my favorites, so anything containing brown sugar is automatically inviting (and the fact that our Lillian cooked it? Oh, even more so!)I haven't looked yet Hellis, but have you started your art thread again? Just wondering, because you do make some lovely pieces!Oh, and it is fun Andastra, to have just a little tension there? The first time around, Hellis' and tirgesfu's characters (Henry and Max) had this wonderful snipe/hate relationship, and you just knew by the end (had Max not died, had we been able to keep going) there was either going to be bloodshed or bromance. And good grief, Lil and Dot! XD I can almost see Veti in my mind's eye, big eyes wide with surprise, shoulders shrugging and hands upraised helplessly going, "Uh... So no kumbayah I guess?"
