Finally finished my chars :P

Name: Hamish Booth
Code Name: Aurum
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Race: Mutant

Family: Booth family, historically only 3 cases of mutants that are known about (or so he was told)
Affiliation: Genosha and Magneto

Powers: Telekinesis - Aurum is a powerful telekinetic, (characterised by a bright golden glow) he is able to telekinetically move, levitate, control, and manipulate solid matter, people, and inanimate objects with a mere thought. He can use this to various effects: He is able to fly, create small bright golden-colored telekinetic shields and barriers, unleash powerful blasts of golden telekinetic force and, freely control and manipulate several objects from a distance. Since his powers are mind-based, it means that if he's unable to concentrate or form a thought, he's unable to use his powers. This also means that most of his powers are controlled by his emotions and can often get out of hand if he gets angry enough, causing nearby objects to explode or random telekinetic bursts to happen, even sending things flying depending on how passionate he's feeling.
Special Abilities: Hamish is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, though this is helped by his telekinetic abilities, which bolster his attacks, allowing him to hit far harder than he is actually capable of. In addition, Hamish enjoys physics and studies it in his spare time.

Personality: Hamish is a quiet individual and has a sarcastic sense of humour. Hailing from Scotland originally, he is rather gruff and has a slightly unapproachable demeanor which he devised to keep most people away. However to his friends and colleagues, he is completely loyal, much more open, friendly and kind.
History: Hamish's past is mostly unknown to him, he is unaware of anything before his 6th birthday. The last thing he can remember is arriving at the doorstep of his "Mother" After that he remembers everything clearly, growing up, going to school, the fights when he discovered his abilities and moving to Genosha and learning to control himself a little better.

(Probably won't come into play until much later and not even sure about it so feel free to disregard :P)

Name: Alia Booth
Code Name: Null
Age: 17
Sex: Female
Race: Mutant

Family: Booth family. Other information redacted.
Affiliation: Charles Xavier.

Powers: Power Nullification: Alia can cancel out the powers of others, making them unable to utilize their powers as long as they are nearby. However, the abilities are not completely nullified, but dampened to such a degree that is often seems like it. With focus and being stronger mentally than Null herself will cause her ability to be less effective. Such as in the case of the Phoenix, Alia would have no chance even making a dent in her power.
Special Abilities: Null is an accomplished marksman

Personality: Alia is loud and confident, she revels in the powerlessness she causes mutants to feel, and enjoys fighting both mutants and regular people. She would even fight an Inhuman or Morlock if she could find one.

If it disrupted the psychic powers of a person inside the field, that would make sense. If it "scrambled" TK and TP within the field, that would make sense. If he couldn't be read by most telepaths, that would work too, as his brain might be sufficiently mutated to make it hard to connect to him.I was just wondering "If it blocks all psychic powers, would even Phoenix be unable to affect him?" Her telepathy and TK would be out, but would the fire work?

True enough, those descriptors make sense. Though yeah, I would wonder at the strength of it.
Seems a little odd for it to negate telekinesis and all other psychic abilities. I mean does it dampen mental abilities in general, like a pyrokinetic couldn't manipulate flame like a telekinetic manipulates everything?
I'll work up a cs pronto. It won't be Hellion himself but the ability is similar. And I'm thinking of having him have a twin with either "Power dampening or power negation (Only negated while she is nearby, not indefinitely)
Also sleepy time now. I'll have to post tomorrow.
Ah, got it. I'll edit it out.
Sam had finally finished fixing his shoes and stood up, looking for his sister, he saw she had already started walking, trailing her suitcase behind her. Of course it was floating in the air with a golden aura around it, which caused him to shake his head at her antics. She was such a show off. After a moment, he brushed himself down and sighed, resolving himself to look around and hopefully meet some new people. He saw the girl who looked rather.."upper class", he thought and saw the boy swing in like some kind of Spider-Man. Sam decided not to tell his sister about him. Spider-Man was the superhero she had the biggest crush on and even if he wasn't related and his powers were wildly different, it wouldn't matter to her. He took a few steps towards the girl who appeared to be holding her phone in the sky for no reason. "Oh wait.. signal. DUH!" He thought to himself with a smile before taking out his own phone and checking it. "Aww man, no signal!? What kind of prison is this?" He said out loud before sighing and replacing it in his pocket. He called out a confident "Hey" to the girl "Looks like there's no signal here, unless you're looking for aliens in which case I hope there's none of that either!"

Mary walked on, she knew where her bag was and was proficient enough with her abilities to make sure it avoided any obstacles well enough. The only problem was the golden glow. She would make the world's worst assassin because of it, and she knew what telekinetics could do, she had heard of the Phoenix and Jean, and she had seen some of what her father could do, but with the whole glowing aspect? It totally gave her away. Her best bet, if it came down to that, would be to use the sunlight to her advantage, her own colour wasn't far off and at certain times would be almost invisible. "Hooray science..." she mumbled to herself before stopping to look around herself, seeing the boy with the weirdest eyes walk past her, she shook her head and saw a familiar sight, but not so familiar. She walked towards it, it had to be him, but he looked different. Had she been keeping up with him? No, but still he couldn't be that different, he didn't look as old as she thought though, that's for sure. Stopping in front of him, she let her suitcase fall to her side, the grip in her hand. "C.. Captain America?" She asked, not exactly timidly, but she was unsure of herself here, she was used to being in control and here she wasn't. It was new to her but she would get the hang of it... or just take control. Nah, too much work there, she thought.
Now try speaking for two and acting for two :P Also I have work tomorrow so my posting might be sparse until 5pm (UK time)
It's possible he did, I mean someone like Deadpool could be one of the few people actually able to take on Xavier and his group. The man's hard to predict and I can't imagine he's easy to subdue with telepathy even with the power Xavier holds. So in a way, if Striker used this information it's possible the funding could have been continued.
