Gave Alastair a bulletproof vest. Because.. well guns. He's a big angry Scotsman but he ain't invulnerable :P
Uh Draconis? We don't get floods or natural disasters in Scotland. It is practically impossible for Edinburgh to be flooded, the pentlands pretty much stop it.

Considering I live here as well, I do realise this. However I decided to go for a little suspension of disbelief there.

However I will note that Scotland does flood. Not on the scale of other countries but we have floods too.

Name: Alistair Mathe
Nickname (if any): The Flying Scotsman

Age: 30
Height: 6'3"

Weaponry/Equipment: Alistair utilises his body, wrestling and fighting to subdue enemies. However, In addition to this, he also carries a Claymore, Dirk and Sgian-Dubh. He also carries a small snub-nose revolver in his Sporran. He wears heavy duty boots with lightweight but durable steel on the toe and heel and occasionally gloves with built in knuckle dusters. Under his shirt, hidden by the kilt cloth and shirt itself, he wears a bulletproof vest, one which covers part of the lower half of his body as well, and a pair of shin guards to protect his legs from hard impacts and stray bullets.

Personality: Alistair is a mysterious man in that no one can tell when he is telling the truth. He has told many stories about his history, but how many of them are true is entirely up to speculation. As a man, he never breaks his word, he has a strange nobility for one who lacks trust, though he has his own moral compass that he follows, with a special clause for when he should need to break it. He laughs openly and is entirely sarcastic. When fighting he is focussed but still playful in a taunting kind of way.

History: Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Alistair was part of a large and poor, lower class family. His parents were fairly loving, for all their drunkenness could allow them to love anyway. He grew up almost entirely alone and learned to not trust anyone, to lie to make his way upwards. He managed to get along fine for some years, make some money here, steal some there and lie his way out of anything. He lived almost without worry until he was about 14 years old, that was when his life spiralled downwards, out of control.

First, he lost his parents, they were attacked and killed for a beer and ten pound note. Then he lost all of his money and almost all of his possessions after a horrible flood. He managed to escape with what he had and was thought lost, forgotten by everybody. He managed to travel to America, and lived briefly alongside a cousin of his for a little while. He grew tired of all the violence around him and decided one night to do something about it. He took up his sword, donned his kilt and learned how to survive as a warrior, though he was called a vigilante. But with his perseverance and cunning, he managed to face all obstacles and crush all of his opponents, the thugs that were in the way. This turned him into the man he is now.

With the skills he learned, from his vigilantism and from actually paying for classes in a wide variety of hand-to-hand styles as well as learning to use his Claymore and Dirk properly, not to mention his revolver, he moves around at night and searches for strife, for combat. To trick and exact some form of revenge upon those thugs. Eventually, one day, he hopes to fit back into society, even though he thinks he is far gone from being suitable for it. He hopes to live a normal life and finally find joys and comforts of life he has never had, just as soon as he finishes his work, because if he doesn't, who would?

Other: Alastair has a keen interest in Physics and studies it in his spare time, in his small flat.
I think option 2 and 3 seem pretty appealing. Saves the logistics of controlling two threads.

I'm thinking about a CS, got the best idea.
Working on a CS, should be up soon.
Sure, sounds intriguing.
Vin even though Sora and Matt got married and had kids?
I'm not saying I want to have Elle die at all. I just noticed that if it was intelligent we would be. I realise punches have been pulled.
