I am enjoying this too much, someone drag Kelvin out of there. *plots to throw Suki into the deal to lower the downpayment*

Or throw in Des and Khat, they would make good manservants
Well I'm sure Arastoph knew Alula had nothing left to give when she offered up her shoes.
Dragonbud is Panril being harassed by a few assassin's or just one?

no assassins, just a crowd goer who is willing to step on an elf to get away from the danger. I'm sure most of the crowd would be running away at this point.
Panril watched in horror as the events unfolded. She felt dizzy all of a sudden, watching as the assassin easily defeated the guards around the new Grand Cleric and made moves to take her out next. She wondered if all of this was planned. Humans trying to remind the elves were they belonged, bleeding to death on the ground. Panril had allowed her hopes to get up, feeling as if there was a possibility that one of her own had been accepted into society. The shouts and boos and cheers of the crowd around her seemed to fade into nothing more then static. She had to remind herself to breathe.

Things only seemed to get worse as Panril realized what the assassin was. An elf. It was pretty easy to tell. She was too big to be a dwarf, and too small to be qunari. And humans rarely got that dexterous. But having and elf assassinate another elf, one who was about to be grand cleric no less, made Panril feel nauseous. Any support this grand cleric had from the humans was about to be lost, and morphed back into blind hatred.

She swallowed thickly, looking frantically around the crowd. She might be able to slip away before the crowd got any more frantic and violent. Currently most of the guards were dead on the ground or trying to apprehend the assassin. Others were trying to control the crowd. She worried that if things got worse, if the crowd got more chaotic, it would spread to the alienage. But as Panril turned, hoping to find a way out of the crowd as well as not have to watch the grand cleric meet her end, she was hit in the gut by an elbow.

Panril hunched over slightly, finding the wind knocked out of her and was the shoved out of the way by a human who was trying to get himself away from the dangerous elven assassin. Panril snarled, gritting her teeth as she resisted the urge to punch the man back. But if she attracted attention to herself things would only get worse. Dock workers were not permitted to carry weapons, especially elven dock workers, so she would have no chance against a guard if they caught her starting trouble.
Dang Alula is gonna need some ice for that burn
Well there's a fifty fifty shot guess on which cloaked lady khat is talking to
Alula was pleasantly surprised, and relived, when the merchant refused to take her shoes. At least she got to keep those. She was about to hand over the knife, when Kelvin stepped in. He pushed the knife and shoes back into her hands, and began to speak with the merchant. Everything the man was saying was confusing her. Was Kelvin helping her? All she wanted was her hat back. She bent over, again almost losing her fitting, and put back on her shoes.

Once the two were finished speaking Arastoph turned back to her. He asked her if she would be willing to part with the dagger for the hat, not to mention that she had already given up all of her gold for it as well. She didn't really care about the money, she just wanted her hat back. She nodded eagerly, handing him the dagger and in exchange she was given her hat. The little woolen string was a nice touch, it would be much harder to loose now.

Tugging her hat down over her eyes, finally content to keep her face away from the sun and the others gaze, she smiled.
Would anyone like to post before I do
