The problem is you guys say your done but you just add more and more weapons and equipment. Instead of adding more weapons ask yourself "How can my pilot reflect on my mech or vice versa." So let's say your guy grew up in the big city used to run with bikers. Maybe he paints his biker gangs patch on the mech or a flame decal. Add on little shit to flesh out your Mech and or character. Not big ass cannons and laser swords.


I agree completely so far all I have added to my mech is the ability to hack damaged mechs for remnants of intel. Considering this is little more than a plot device and I haven't added any weapon systems( I actually took one off) I don't understand the problem. Actually the only one I think who keeps redesigning his mech is Loki cuz he wants to be able to stack up with everyone which is again where the dickswinging part comes in.

have him be a sniper/ mech tagger. Give him some kind of lasering device and have him spot targets for the patton's big ass guns.

If you don't know,then go with the basics. This is an early part of the conflict you don't need this high power shit early on Mechs are mean't to be suppourt not walking one man armies that are armed to take out nations. So i can see some of this shit being added when the war escalates.


ok so I don't remember anyone having anything that was "one man walking army made to take out nations" except maybe the pattons ULTRA gun, but if the GM wants to discuss what people were going to put on their mechs I don't think that it should be up to criticism. Such as I had a railgun to deal with heavy mechs with a substantial cooldown and charge up, however the GM felt it was OP so I removed it. That is perfectly reasonable stage of getting CS's approved so I don't see what the problem is.
Also ive removed the railgun and am going to specify that the hacking system is only for intel on already downed enemy mechs.

dude what are you talking about? we are talking to the GM about what are mechs are allowed to have.
more than likely if the others agree to let you join yes you will be last in the posting order.
The hacking is after they are dead and its to get intelligence about the enemy not to hurt the enemy mech it isn't a system takeover. The railgun is to solidify it in a fight against heavy mechs as well, but I will remove it if you want the plasma cutters are pretty nasty against heavies at short range anyway.
So far we need the help but your going to have to get the consensus of the others. Schradinger is one of the best Arena combatants ik so its probably not to much of a hassle for him, but the others may disagree so wait until everyone has said yes or no.

First you have to find someone else to fight in the OOC then choose where. Like it was previously stated your going to have a hard time of it considering my character is the only other tier 3 and right now he is engaged in a grueling 3 on 1 against a tier 5.
