Luckily he hadnt grabbed the shield with his hand, and had instead used the blade of his knife as a lever.Using his knife arm as leverage the masked man rolled to his right around the shield as she tried to push forward. This motion would twist the shortsword and rip it free as he rolled. It also had the added benefit of not getting him crushed or burned. Finishing the roll he would rise to his feet and ready himself in the same position as earlier.
Being in midair from the slash Mifune couldn't dodge the pincer, and with the claw coming all he could do was raise the scabbard of his sword for protection. The impact sent him flying and he landed on his back luckily the tsuba had taken the majority of the impact, but he was still somewhat jarred. As he rose Herriman fired a projectile from his axe which Mifune opted to simply duck underneath as it flew towards him. Next he sheathed his blade and waited for Herriman's next move.

Fifth (and this one's for Drall), Dag does have a point about how you avoided his attack. If you're in midair, you don't have the leverage you'd need to alter your trajectory like that (at the very least, you'd have slammed into Herriman's chest), or spin around to attack like you did.

yeah I Know, but at that point if this had panned out to be where it was basically whatever goes I was going to be withdrawing Mifune from the fight anyway.
OK again you didn't specify how exactly you can see when you phase out of the material realm, and I had misunderstood the power when you used it against Piroda you seemed to just not get hit for a second not teleport. Also as schradinger put it with mifune moving at the speed he is your character would if he phased out and back in within half a second end up in front of Mifune. you only charged for ONE post the one where you pulled back to strike you didn't say you were charging energies, which in most arena environments means you should have LOST the previous charge. Where I believe you to be godmodding is where you think that character with no superhuman senses(thought processes) or speed can register Mifune's sword even being drawn. Laido is drawing cutting and sheathing a sword a normal human proficient with it can make the blade seem to disappear to a trained opponent. Mifune moving at the speed he is now your character shouldn't be able to even SEE the blade much less predict when to phase away from it.
As he began to be pulled off his feet Adrian spread his wings and let out a gust of wind with a powerful burst of them. Releasing the chains as he did this he managed to avoid being drug in, but his attack didn't work Now he readied himself black flaming energy swirling around him like a cloak of darkness.
For one Herriman cant THINK fast enough to phase exactly as he was struck, for two you didn't specify at which point in a leap. Mifune leaped twice the first time closing the second time dodging anyway. For a third point being able to phase out of the realm is fine but teleporting directly behind someone who already struck you is OP and GMing a little bit. Also Mifune is a werewolf and has been fighting since the Edo period and Herriman is a berserker so Herriman would be heard the minute the axe began to move there is no such thing as a slient swing.
Ignoring the fact that the machine was now in his way Adrian laughing breathed in and then exhaled an enormous swath of flame. The flames rushed forward covering the entire area in front of him fauns, robot, and anything else in front of him unless it avoided it would be turned to cinders. Smiling as his flames subsided Adrian asked, "shows that.".
Barely seeing Arthur's attack coming Adrian dropped his mace and spun to the left in midair. It wasn't enough to completely avoid the attack and he grimaced as the sword cut a thin scar horizontally along his chest. Using his ongoing momentum, the chains stuck in the rock, and his newfound balance from his feet touching the ground Adrian gripped the chains holding Arthur with both hands, and with all his might attempted to swing the man around like a pendulum and slam him into the face of the cliff.
As Herriman disappeared and reappeared behind him Mifune could hear the mans swing. Unfortunately for Herriman, Mifune was moving to fast for his axe to hit him and merely swished down in his wake carrying Herriman forward. His right foot planting as planned Mifune simply pushed off it pivoting and performed a laido slash at Herriman's neck at point blank range. With the mans axe arm down and his claw arm behind him, even if he could see the attack there would be no way for him to block in time, at least not with his arms.
