Hello!
While browsing through some topics here I noticed a lot of high standards, which kinda scared me off, so I thought it best to just open a topic of my own and see who finds my writing good enough ^^
I like most genres, but I'm pretty bad as things like sci-fi, so that might not be a great idea.
I also have a soft spot for horses, and since it has been ages since I had an rp in which they played at least a slight role without it being full of little kids who clearly had no idea what they were talking about. So if anyone is in for an RP with horses in it I'd be very happy. They don't even have to play a very large role and of course there needs to be a good plot as well.
I just really miss horses in my life. Does it show?
My post lengths tend to vary, really depending on the other person's post and the situation. I don't really do fillers, so if there is simply not much to say or do for my character and it doesn't make sense for me to let something else happen at that point, the post won't be very long. So because of that, my posts can vary from a few sentences to a few paragraphs, really.
I'm not very fond of writing mature stuff, btw. I do not mind romance in a story, but I prefer not to take it too far. Just thought I'd mention that.
The rough bark against his relatively muscular back reminded him of the fact that he had fallen asleep up in a tree, and he recalled the events of the past evening again, silently thankful for the fact that he had not fallen out of the tree overnight. That would have been a let down, so to say. It seemed like Dana was still asleep, or slumbering at least. Troy gave himself some time to properly wake up and let his eyes scan the forest. It looked peaceful, with the sun softly illuminating the tall trees and the wind rustling the leaves ever so slightly. It was only when he looked down that that peaceful image was roughly torn asunder by the two zombiecorpses below the tree. Well, you couldn't have it all. Troy continued looking at the treetops. The gnawing sensation of hunger put a bit of a shadow over the lovely morning. These days, the hunger was almost always there, but the mornings were the worst. So far, Troy had often been able to find at least some edible things, so he had not completely starved yet, but by now his body was mostly muscle and sinew and unless something would change drastically, his future didn't look too bright.
If only there was something of a civilisation. Someplace distant. Troy wouldn't mind laboring hard every day, if it meant peace and food on the table.
