well so much for rare treasure in the form of easy to carry coin

Knowledge is often a valuable treasure that takes no physical capacity to carry. Just saying....

So let's say I find a set of urbi lubi trade coins, that would be considered highly valuable?

The opposite in fact. Since it's hard to spend them outside the city no one will want them anymore.

*thinks*I have an idea for two characters. One who is half Lycan, but does everything to hide it. She has very little self confidence and hates her differences. The other is a thief just trying to keep her belly full and the rest of her in one piece.Who do you think would be more interesting? I mean, every RPG needs a good thief, but I've got a hankering to see what I could do with the first character. I'd probably need a lot more knowledge of the lore to pull it off though.

Someone already has a thief, Jangel I believe. That being said a lycan in this world is human. There is no half lycan. What I mean is see it as a disease but with benefits. If you have lycan blood in you, it is now a dominant gene in your system. Lycans are human, have a human form, but can change into the "true lycan" form. they also have varying characteristics.

1) They are very strong compared to a regular human.

2) They have a larger range of eye colors than just the regular blue, green, brown of humans. They also have red, grey, orange/gold eye colors as well. These being a result of the wolf genetics. So if you see a human with orange eyes, that's a dead giveaway that they're lycan. If they have green, blue, or brown eyes. You won't know the difference.

3) They can contract human diseases and wolf diseases. The winter the story is going through now will result in an increase in mange, a disease which causes your skin to peel off and possibly death.

So there are positives and negatives but see it as more of a superhuman. As with other super humans you have masses of people who won't trust them, people who will try to kill them, weakneses (such as mange), and things that will set you apart from the pack (eyes).

Hope that helps

also I wasn't sure about what currency you want to use so I just went with coins (gold, silver, copper) kind of deal

I could have mentioned that, but coins was good. I would say coins is fine as the main currency is Capitol Coins, which as the name hints are minted in the Capitol city. Each city at one point had their own currency but this caused trade between cities to be very difficult as was abandoned years ago.

May I ask a question or two?1. Can lycans and humans procreate?2. Does magic exist in this world? 3. What is the general age for 'adulthood'?

1) Never considered procreation, but yes lycanthropy in this world is more of a disease than a straight up race, so they could and the child would be a lycan.

2) Yes to some degree, Dragon Lords had/have magic and some of the people of Arenious are known to use magic but only within the walls of the city. Meaning if they leave, they also leave their source of magic.

3) It would be dependent on the culture of people just as it is in the real world. Due to the nature of this world you'd have to be able to take care of yourself at a younger age so 14-16 would likely be considered adult in most regions. Though as you'd imagine people are still developing both mentally and physically at those ages regardless of what society states as adult.

Hope that helps
Good job on the post Jangel, interesting character. The numerous typos bugged me but the overall idea was cool.

is it okay if I say that im going up the hill to get to a noble so I can steal some of their cash for me and some medicine for the poor people? I am a thief so the only place I could really go is an inn nearby and help the people that are poor like I used to be

sure, do what makes sense for your character
